Wonderful for the price! We went for Valentine's Day and someone got engaged at the event, so romantic! I also liked the cute storefront they had to sell their merch. The 1st house was okay, but the theme was a little strange. It was about the three princesses and the scare actors seemed to want to talk about the torture and insult us more, but we had to usher through the house. I think it was the weakest, but goofy. The 2nd house was the best with a surgical theme. There were people in sheets in a room with a stroke light, a dirty bathroom with a scare actor talking to himself through a mirror, and lots of gory effects. The 3rd house was about blood fairies which has a fun walk through the woods with some cool props. It was a little annoying on this one, just because the group in front of us was walking extremely slow. We eventually caught up to them, so we tried to slow down to stagger our groups more, but the group behind us caught up to us. We all were kind of clumped together. It kind of messed up the flow, but the effects were all very fun. The venue is normally great at timing so groups all get a chance to go. They also have some food and drinks for purchase at reasonable prices. Parking is a breeze and the ticket process is relatively easy. The bag policy was a bit confusing though since it said online that you could bring a fanny pack, but then upon arrival it said no fanny packs. We came. We screamed. We questioned our life choices -- and then immediately got back in line to do it all over again. Sir Henry's Haunted Trails is not your average haunted house -- it's a full-on choose your own nightmare experience in the woods. Each trail has its own story, detailed sets, and scare actors who are way too good at their job. My daughter and her friend were clutching each other one second, laughing hysterically the next, and sprinting for their lives the moment a chainsaw revved up. I, of course, maintained my cool... mostly. The atmosphere is incredible -- fog rolling through the trees, eerie music, and enough jump scares to keep your heart rate in cardio mode. Even the waiting areas feel like mini horror movie sets. The team behind this event clearly puts a lot of heart (and fake blood) into making it unforgettable. 10/10 would get chased again. I love a good haunted house, and at Sir Henry's Haunted Trail you get four to choose from! We arrived for our scheduled time at 8 PM and spent about 15 minutes getting in. Each haunted trail takes around 15-30 minutes to go through, and the haunted hayride had about a one-hour wait so definitely arrive early if you want to experience everything. I can only imagine the times as it gets closer to Halloween. There were six of us in my group, and we had so much fun going through all the trails. My favorite was definitely the haunted hayride! Sir Henry's has become my favorite local haunt, well worth the hour or so (darn Championsgate traffic) journey. I really love how they creatively revamp sets to allow for haunted trail experiences at different points in the year! Most recently went to the Valentine's weekend and it did not disappoint. I was also not expecting live music entertainment most of the night with a few themed characters rocking out to entertain people in the common area! It was also cool to see how they continue to expand offerings, even little side experiences like the flower or sweets shop created for further interaction. I appreciate that they also continue to be fairly priced without feeling like nickel and dining patrons. Really had fun here! I hadn't been before. I enjoyed seeing the deranged decorations and people playing parts for the holiday.... My favorite was the angry Gingerbread man roaming around and the gingerbread house. There was also a pretty deranged Mr and Mrs Claus seated inside one of the "booths" with a rolling pin in one hand, I think I saw a saw in there as well.... It was dark, you really had to keep your eye on them, they looked like they'd jump up out of their rocking chairs and come after you, if you didn't know any better! There are 2 trails to walk through and they were definitely creepy.. I don't like stuff touching me LOL... they come VERY close. And the props hanging, etc, EWWWW! (That's the idea, right??) Even the hayride was creepy... It had characters with CHAINSAWS (hopefully minus the chains) running up and down the sides of the trailer. And the screams and the weirdness and the creep was all there. Decorations all around were fun and even got to meet Sir Henry himself! That was a fun bonus. At the end, we perused through the booths and ended up getting some mini donuts, I'd skip those next time. But did have Sir Henry's cider at the beginning. I think it's neat that they collab with Keel & Curley Winery for that! Would I return? I may at some point in the future. Sir Henry's Haunted Trail in Plant City, Florida. Plant City is a blue collar place with lots of big American flags, large trucks and large whites. There are no metal detectors because everyone has a gun. It felt like Central Pennsylvania. I felt safe. They had 3 haunted houses and a hay ride. All were solid with lots of actors, local kids who all did perfect jobs. Lots of actors walking around in costumes. It was a great setup in a backwoods / trailer park feel, right off of i4. The food and drinks were good and very inexpensive. $6 nachos, $8 loaded nachos, $5 corn dog, $3 tacos, $3 bottles of water, $9 local wine and ciders. We got their annual vip pass for $200 each. That's seemingly expensive but you get admission to each night of the event, front of the line with no one in front of you. Regular admission was much cheaper. You also get access to their haunted Christmas, haunted Valentines, and haunted wild West events. I think a regular 1 time admission may run you around $30. I spoke to the person who runs the event. He was humble and very much concerned that everyone was happy. I'm happy to support them. Check them out if you're a Halloween fanatic in the area. read more

I love that they added an April event this year to hold us over until Halloween! I attended the first ever Ghost Town & BBQ. There was quite a crowd. Tickets had to be purchased in advance and staff scanned tickets and handed out wristbands in the line prior to gates opening to speed up entry. They had 2 haunted trails, a few of the jump scares definitely got me! There were also 2 escape rooms for an extra fee but I didn't do these. Unique to this event from others I've attended here was a brief show the scare actors put on. It would have benefited from the actors having mics but was a nice touch to play into the theme. 2 BBQ vendors were on site. This is HANDS DOWN one of my favorite haunts ever. First, it's in the woods so it automatically has a creepy vibe. Two it is a non profit so it has a different feel to it than others. I enjoyed everything about this experience. It's not too small but it also doesn't have that large ridiculous crowds of other parks. The scares are just right. One of the best local haunts I've been to! You have to buy your tickets online they don't sell them there in person! They give you a wristband and then get there early around 7pm even tho they open at 7:30pm because it can get crowded quick! I was able to do all 3 houses in a hour! My favorite one was headless! I love all the interactions with the scare actors walking around outside and I love the way they only put your party in the houses and not rush you and put everyone in a big line so you get all the scares! This is my 2nd year in a row attending Sir Henry's Trail and it did not disappoint last year or this year. The attraction consists of 3 VERY LONG outdoor haunted trails in the woods, an escape room and laser tag. One of the things I really live is they only let in groups of 4-6 at a time so you can really enjoy the experience and be scared at every turn! All 3 Haunted trails are super scary and the props, cast, smells are on point.....they put allot of work into these trails. The trails are set in the woods which makes it extra dark and scary but let me tell you they put allot of effort into the amazing props, buildings etc on these trails and even though it seems expensive it is well worth the money!! We bought the front of the line passes which were $50 but you can purchase in advance online and save a few bucks which we did and it also saves u time not having to stand in line to purchase ti kets at the event. We also paid an extra $5 each to do the escape room, if u do not escape in 5 minutes you are release.....we ESCAPED....YAY! This was really fun and we all loved it. We all worked together to crack the code. We did not do the laser tag so I can not comment on that. There are no restrooms except 4 portopoties since you are in the middle of the woods and also there is no alcohol sold or allowed on the premises which was definitely a con for our group, but since it is so great I'm sure we will attend next year. They provide tables with complimentary bug spray which you will definitely need. Love how some of the spooks randomly roam around and could be standing beside or behind you at any moment. read more

Wow this haunted experience definitely startled me. I don't think I'm always the one who gets scared or startled but this one did it for me. There are three trails called the Twisted Souls, Silent Walls, & Carved. They also have two additional experiences they you pay an extra $5 if you want to. One is a Laser tag and the other is a escape experience. My favorite was Twisted Soul. At one point, it felt like I was swimming and the water was around me. I've never seen that before. I also hated the chain saws. The affects were fun and the detail was really real. I really felt like I was walking through a scary movie. The costumed people walking around had very detailed costumes. If you need to catch a break there are three trucks, one had snow cones, one had desserts, and one had bbq. There's also a small shop with Halloween goodies. They did a great job. First impression was that I've been here before for Christmas Trail. I had looked it up and I gave it five stars. This was my 2nd time here, once for Halloween last year and for Valentine's Day this year. I have to say this place is AWESOME! They put a lot time, money and effort in their costumes, decor and everything. Their are 3 haunted trails and all three are very long, fun and scary. I so much more prefer this over the haunted houses because something about being out in the woods at night is already very eery. For $5 more per person you can also do an escape room or laser tag. We have done both and both are fun but the laser tag was a freaking blast! I will do it every time from now on. The negatives thing I will say about this about this venue and why I am only giving it 4 starts are they do not sell alcohol at this venue and you cannot bring in your own. Also, unless you buy a fast pass you will be waiting in line A LONG time. Since the trails are so long the lines don't go real fast so we get fast passes every time we go:) read more

This is my first time attending Sir Henry's Trail and I have to say this is an amazing venue! I would say it's in the running for one of the top haunted attractions in the Tampa area. There is a total of 3 haunted trails which are very long and located in the woods. There is also an escape room and laser tag which is a upcharge of $5. All 3 haunted houses were very scary and you can tell they put alot of time and work in to making that happen. The props and the smell and the sound effects that had were very realistic and even the actors were amazing. Each house only let's in a group of 4 to 6 people at a time so this way it makes it way more fun walking through the trail and not being shoulder to shoulder with people. We did do the escape room which is a $5 upcharge per person. Not scary at all but very fun. The escape room gives you 5 minutes to figure out the puzzle or they release and open the door. Our group of 4 did solve the puzzle and escaped the room. There is food and drinks onsite but do not serve alcohol. Also they have complimentary bug spray at the front entrance by the ticket booth and all when you get inside which helps since the trails are located outside in the woods. Near the front entrance they have portopoties. We did purchase the fast passes in advance online for $50 which did get us in the front of the line and into the haunted trails quick. read more

They put about a minute gap between each party which was great as we are able to experience all the scares around each corner. If I could I'd add a .5 giving Sir Henry's and Ominous a 4.5! This was a bit of a drive from Orlando but we had a GREAT TIME and plan on returning next Halloween season! Sir Henry's is 3 haunted trails each with their own themes. They also have a laser tag game and escape room but we didn't participate in those, we we're there for the scares! Really great details even though all 3 are outside. The scareactors we're great and the young ones even better!! Giving totally creepy performances, the kids killed it (see what I did there...). There's also a small shop selling tshirts and other fun local items, a few food vendors and photo ops. They take cash and charge and offer VIP too to skip the lines. This place was amazing! I came from out of town and I have to say, this was better than so many of the other bigger and more well known attractions you can visit during spooky season. This isn't just haunted houses and a trail ride it's a true experience. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you entered a spooky little village in another town with all of the carefully curated buildings. The hayride was by far the best haunted hayride I have ever been on. The attention the detail was incredible! You can really tell a lot of thought went into every little part of it. The staff was so nice, especially Calvin who helped with a lot of our questions. The people who were character, never broke character for a second which added so much to the experience. As for the Trails, The Tales of the Dead was my favorite, whoever played Vex GOT ME GOOD! If you are looking for a fun spooky season thing to do, 10/10 recommend! I have been through dozens of these haunted places all over the States and I this one was nothing great. Comparing to others I was greatly disappointed. There were three attractions which only took less than 5 minutes to walk through and not alot of actors and not scarey. Granted a few had some great makeup but mostly they scream and bang the walls. Nothing took me by surprise and there was no wow factor. I did like how at the entrance to each place they would look at their watch to space out patrons so you went into without a crowd but there really was not much to this place to scare you unless you were 10 years old. We were there first opening so no crowds and we went in and out going through all 3 place and done in a half hour. Not worth it. read more

So, my friends and I did Screamageddon last year and Universal. This year we did Howl O Scream and Sir Henry's. This is the first year for Henry's and it was the best of all of them. Free parking to start! Long and amazingly detailed trails. Great scareactors. And the best is......scary as hell. The carving was my favorite next to Silent Walls. Wow. All of the trails were excellent. The trail "The Harvester" was a bit long, which added to the fear, but was very well put together, 3.5 of 5 scares. The trail "Reaper's Haunting" did not disappoint, I will not give it away but the actors on this trail are on point with their abilities to scare the $hit out of you. Story line was well perceived and thought provoking, very immersive. 4.5 of 5 scares. The last trail, "The Breed" presented by Ominous Descent is not to be missed and is definitely a must experience. Extremely immersive and hauntingly beautiful. The shrills and screams of guests excited this crew of actors, they show true passion for the haunt life. Hands down one of the best haunts currently around. A perfect homage to a past haunt is seen though out and even with a particular creature. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing this trail, as you will get your moneys worth, and will leave intensely disturbed. 5 of 5 scares. They also offer laser tag and an escape game, both were fun and inexpensive. The treats are also great with delicious sno-ball ice presented by Pelican's snoballs. Sir Henry's also offer great food at a very reasonable price, I recommend the BBQ sandwich. They offer some tasty home made treats including moonshine jelly (wow) and t-shirts at their on site shop. Overall a great time and well worth the money. We went here last night and had so much fun! They were really good about social distancing, and we weren't herded through each trail like cattle, so we really got to experience the spookiness. The trails were so long and well planned out. And I couldn't believe that it was only $25 per person for three trails. That is probably the best value I have ever had for a Halloween themed event. Absolutely fantastic experience. The three haunts at this park are a very good length with breathtaking set design and genuinely surprising scares. We had express passes we won in a giveaway back in September - we got there at opening at 7:30 and were able to do all three haunts and wander around to check out the roaming scare actors and support the gift shop, then leave at 9PM. We didn't do any of the upcharge items because it started pouring out and we called it a night. Come check it out for spooky season! read more

This place is amazing! I'm talking better than Busch Gardens, Scream a Geddon, and all of the other local Halloween festivities. I am a major Halloween aficionado who travels to other States seeking out the best Halloween exhibits, and this takes second place to 13th Gate in Baton Rouge, LA. It's that good! The actors and their costumes were so realistic, and the sights, sounds, and smells in each trail we're all blended together to make you feel like you are in your own horror movie. It's realistic horror that far exceeds your run of the mill plastic mannequins and "boo" scare tactics that other places employ. I am more than blown away by it.
