    A Christmas Haunting
    Ben M.

Sir Henry's has become my favorite local haunt, well worth the hour or so (darn Championsgate traffic) journey. I really love how they creatively revamp sets to allow for haunted trail experiences at different points in the year! Most recently went to the Valentine's weekend and it did not disappoint. I was also not expecting live music entertainment most of the night with a few themed characters rocking out to entertain people in the common area! It was also cool to see how they continue to expand offerings, even little side experiences like the flower or sweets shop created for further interaction. I appreciate that they also continue to be fairly priced without feeling like nickel and dining patrons. If you're seeking a local haunt with a lot of heart, Sir Henry's is definitely worth a visit!

Great place to visit. Bonus is it isn't only for Halloween as they have special themes throughout the year. The home haunt feel is alive here which makes it fun. Don't expect Universal production; also don't expect the Universal conga line. In 2025 there are three houses/trails plus a hay ride. Keep these places going.

Really had fun here! I hadn't been before. I enjoyed seeing the deranged decorations and people playing parts for the holiday.... My favorite was the angry Gingerbread man roaming around and the gingerbread house. There was also a pretty deranged Mr and Mrs Claus seated inside one of the "booths" with a rolling pin in one hand, I think I saw a saw in there as well.... It was dark, you really had to keep your eye on them, they looked like they'd jump up out of their rocking chairs and come after you, if you didn't know any better! There are 2 trails to walk through and they were definitely creepy.. I don't like stuff touching me LOL... they come VERY close. And the props hanging, etc, EWWWW! (That's the idea, right??) Even the hayride was creepy... It had characters with CHAINSAWS (hopefully minus the chains) running up and down the sides of the trailer. And the screams and the weirdness and the creep was all there. Decorations all around were fun and even got to meet Sir Henry himself! That was a fun bonus. At the end, we perused through the booths and ended up getting some mini donuts, I'd skip those next time. But did have Sir Henry's cider at the beginning. I think it's neat that they collab with Keel & Curley Winery for that! Would I return? I may at some point in the future. But the price is steep for VIP and even with the Black Friday special, I did think it was a bit on the high side. Otherwise I wouldn't even hesitate!

Had a great time! Fun for the whole family. Saw many spooky kids in the houses. They kept calling me short tho. Would recommend for lovers of haunted houses short and tall alike.

I love that they added an April event this year to hold us over until Halloween! I attended the first ever Ghost Town & BBQ. There was quite a crowd. Tickets had to be purchased in advance and staff scanned tickets and handed out wristbands in the line prior to gates opening to speed up entry. They had 2 haunted trails, a few of the jump scares definitely got me! There were also 2 escape rooms for an extra fee but I didn't do these. Unique to this event from others I've attended here was a brief show the scare actors put on. It would have benefited from the actors having mics but was a nice touch to play into the theme. 2 BBQ vendors were on site. I'm not a big BBQ lover but the lines were long and people looked to be enjoying it.

This is HANDS DOWN one of my favorite haunts ever. First, it's in the woods so it automatically has a creepy vibe. Two it is a non profit so it has a different feel to it than others. I enjoyed everything about this experience. It's not too small but it also doesn't have that large ridiculous crowds of other parks. The scares are just right. This also has one of the longest haunted houses that I've ever been in. I highly recommend you search for MrBuckeltist Sir Henry's Documentary on Youtube to see my full review if you can. You won't regret it.

By far one of the best haunted trails and haunted houses in the area! The staff is professional and very nice as well. My son and I had a great time and will definitely be returning next year!

One of the best local haunts I've been to! You have to buy your tickets online they don't sell them there in person! They give you a wristband and then get there early around 7pm even tho they open at 7:30pm because it can get crowded quick! I was able to do all 3 houses in a hour! My favorite one was headless! I love all the interactions with the scare actors walking around outside and I love the way they only put your party in the houses and not rush you and put everyone in a big line so you get all the scares! It was $30 per person for standard line but it was worth the time and money and I drove from orlando!

For 2021, Sir Henry's added scares and the word "haunted" to their Christmas event name! For 2021, Sir Henry's Haunted Christmas featured 2 haunted trails, an escape room game, laser tag, live entertainment, food vendors, and glow in the dark merchandise! Sir Henry's Haunted Christmas is only a 5 night event starting Dec. 10 and running through Dec. 19 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. This is my 2nd year in a row attending Sir Henry's Trail and it did not disappoint last year or this year. The attraction consists of 3 VERY LONG outdoor haunted trails in the woods, an escape room and laser tag. One of the things I really live is they only let in groups of 4-6 at a time so you can really enjoy the experience and be scared at every turn! All 3 Haunted trails are super scary and the props, cast, smells are on point.....they put allot of work into these trails. The trails are set in the woods which makes it extra dark and scary but let me tell you they put allot of effort into the amazing props, buildings etc on these trails and even though it seems expensive it is well worth the money!! We bought the front of the line passes which were $50 but you can purchase in advance online and save a few bucks which we did and it also saves u time not having to stand in line to purchase ti kets at the event. We also paid an extra $5 each to do the escape room, if u do not escape in 5 minutes you are release.....we ESCAPED....YAY! This was really fun and we all loved it. We all worked together to crack the code. We did not do the laser tag so I can not comment on that. There are no restrooms except 4 portopoties since you are in the middle of the woods and also there is no alcohol sold or allowed on the premises which was definitely a con for our group, but since it is so great I'm sure we will attend next year. They provide tables with complimentary bug spray which you will definitely need. Love how some of the spooks randomly roam around and could be standing beside or behind you at any moment.

I would say it is worth the price to come here. Houses are scary, a lot of loud sounds to jump to. The lines go by pretty quickly and the haunted houses are lengthy In a good way. They are detailed & all the actors appeared spooky. Favorite one was the headless one, did alot of screaming In there. The cheddar popcorn & churros Tasted old & there could have been more actors running around but overall it was really fun! Would recommend.

Wow this haunted experience definitely startled me. I don't think I'm always the one who gets scared or startled but this one did it for me. There are three trails called the Twisted Souls, Silent Walls, & Carved. They also have two additional experiences they you pay an extra $5 if you want to. One is a Laser tag and the other is a escape experience. My favorite was Twisted Soul. At one point, it felt like I was swimming and the water was around me. I've never seen that before. I also hated the chain saws. The affects were fun and the detail was really real. I really felt like I was walking through a scary movie. The costumed people walking around had very detailed costumes. If you need to catch a break there are three trucks, one had snow cones, one had desserts, and one had bbq. There's also a small shop with Halloween goodies. They did a great job. First impression was that I've been here before for Christmas Trail. I had looked it up and I gave it five stars. I can definitely give this five stars as well!!!

Gotta have the Florida cheese factor!!! Perfect for selfies to send to my relatives so they can roll their eyes at how we celebrate Xmas.
    Jen M.

We had a blast. The village was adorable, the characters were engaging, and the cheese factor just added to the overall vibe. The makeup ranged from good to amazing, and nobody broke character while we were there. It was great silly fun and we will definitely be checking it out for Halloween in 2023

This was one of the best parts! This clown was creepy, funny and down to do any pose!

My friend had 2 extra tickets so she invited me & hubs to join her & her husband with another couple on the Saturday night after Halloween. As I had never heard of this haunt, located at Grand Prix Fun Center, my expectations were low. And then seeing tents set up on the asphalt, with no *victims*, I was skeptical. But my hesitation was completely unfounded. The individual haunts were very dark, with plenty of hidden nooks for surprises. The actors at each tent were fully in-character, & the creepiness was non-stop. For me, the unexpected scares give the best adrenaline-rush thrills, and each of these haunts met that standard. Get Screaming is new to Grand Prix Fun Center (sounds like it was previously at the Florida State Fairgrounds), and staff told us they were very successful in this location this year. Our visit was on the last night of the season, after Halloween, so that explains the lack of other guests. My friend had bought our tickets through Groupon for $14 each, which I thought was a great value. Though I'm not sure what their regular admission price is, I definitely want to visit Get Screaming again next year!

She purchased our tickets directly from the site https://fearreach.fearticket.com/frontapp/book/ticket for $20 each and they also offer two add-on's, (1) the Double creature feature $15; and (2) the speed pass for $10 more. We purchased the $20 ticket, which grants you access to the park and 3 haunted houses. Things to know: - The park is only open on Friday and Saturday nights from 7-11pm. The park modifies its days/hours near the end of the month to be open on Thursday thru Saturday Nights (24th and 31st) until 12am. - The park is in a large open field out in the middle of Tavares. If you have trouble seeing at night you might want to bring your own flashlight because there is not a lot of lighting to and from your vehicle. - Although you are entering a somewhat enclosed park know that it is all outdoors. Dress appropriately for the humidity (it was muggy as hell), for walking in muddy grass and puddles, and prepare for mosquitos. - There are several osculating fans in the bar area which help but no air conditioning to be found other than in the restroom. - The only running water I could find was in the restroom and it was most likely well water from the property (strong sulfur odor). Bring your handy wipes! First off, I have to say that all the staff here are lovely! Every staff member we met were friendly, had a positive attitude, and truly cared about the job they were doing. I can only image that their managers treat their employees well and appreciate that they have such good people working for them. We had dinner before we arrived here, so we didn't purchase any of the food inside. It is nice to know that there are several food vendors available if you are hungry. The Gringa Mex food truck, and a BBQ vendor, along with one other vendor selling sweets and fried items. We did however purchase several drinks at the main bar and prices were competitive with one of the other bars on site. I was drinking Jai Lai IPA's and they were $6 each, not bad. There are several fun activities like the ring toss and ax throwing which cost more but all proceeds go to a good cause. Additionally, there was a Terot reader, a Henna tattoo artist, and several other merchants on site. All very cool; however, save them for after the Haunted houses to ensure you see them all. There was a very good band called The Dismembered playing during the evening. Our friend is a neighbor with one of the band members, which made the event that much more fun since we were able to meet and hang out with the band for a while. The haunted houses were pretty good. My favorite was Grimoire Manor, second best was Bloodline Barn, and third was the Chainsaw Chase. The first two are more of an actual haunted house, pretty much what we were looking for. The Chainsaw Chase is pretty much your group being quickly corralled (chased) through the haunted house by scary characters with chainsaws. It goes quick, so its over before you know it. I wish there was more characters inside and other creepy things to look at, then maybe have the chainsaw guy chase me out toward the end. Something to mention about the haunted houses is - two items jump out at you in the first two houses. One is this creepy dude that is hidden in a bed and the other is a tall dark Grim Reaper looking dude that's on a pedestal near a walkway. They are pneumatically controlled, which is awesome but they come very close and if I was the lead of our group, they would have hit me in the head because I am so tall. So just be prepared if your tall like me. All-and-all, we had a blast checking this place out. It was our first time here, and it was worth the $20 to me; I have to say, we will be back. If you are looking for another great place to enjoy the Halloween festivities, I highly recommend checking Fear Reach Scream Park out, and be sure to bring your friends, it is so much more fun with a group.
