Jerry and Jerry (father-son team) came to our new house yesterday and replaced all the locks, with a smile, on-time! They were terrific. We had options on what we wanted replaced - keys/locks for bolts, knobs, etc. First they walked around to each of the doors and told us the options for fixing the locks, asked how many key copies we wanted and got to work. Great locksmith. Had a older car that we needed a key for but just had the code for it. Got a key made by another lock smith and the key didn't work until Sir Locksalot made one precisely for the ignition of this car and he came through, the ignition worked fine. A master in his trade. read more

This guy was fantastic! He came right over and hooked me up with a new key after mine broke off in the keyhole of the trunk of my car. Awesome and quick service! These guys re-keyed two locks in my new house and were very professional and nice while doing it. When we had trouble getting copies of the keys made (3 different places somehow couldn't get it right!), I called up Sir Locks-a-lot to ask if there was something particular about the lock or new keys that might make it difficult to get copies made. He said there shouldn't be an issue and set up an appointment to come back to my house the following day to get everything straightened out. He actually had to take the lock apart to figure out the issue but we finally got copies made with NO CHARGE! He spent at least a half hour trying to troubleshoot the problem and still didn't charge me. Needless to say, these are super nice guys who do great work and will work with you to solve any issues. read more

Gerry saves the day. Again. In a real bind and needing to change our locks asap, Gerry prioritized our situation and paid us a visit late in the day. He didn't have to. But he did. And I'm not surprised. Gerry has now come through for us on multiple occasions. He's personable and knowledgeable and completes the work quickly. I bought a car at an auction and it did not come with keys. The local dealer would not make them as the car is 20 years old, but they did give me a key code to have a locksmith make the keys for me. Well my local locksmiths key did not work, so I started calling around until I came to Sir Locksalot. He told me that the keys I needed were tricky and needed care to make. He said he could do it, and sure enough, his key worked like a charm. I was about to buy a new ignition and would have had to have had different keys for the door lock. Okay - not, never ever have I known them at all. I was having problems with my front door lock that was intermittent. I called them based on a recommendation from commonwealth lock in porter square. They showed up and fixed the lock after about 20 to 30 minutes of work for 2 guys. They charged me - wait for it - nothing. They said, call me when you have something that needs work. I can't say they will do this for you. They probably won't. They would be out of business if they did this much more at all. the thing is - they aren't those guys that are some foreign jerks that have 20 listings in the yellow pages that are all the same people that show up after promising to charge you $100 and then it jumps to $200. They OBVIOUSLY aren't those guys. Call them. You'll be happy with them and yourself. read more
