They really showed their high service level by coming out to check on the installation even after I paid them. Had a water softening system installed for less than $3009-and they did a great job. Used Quinn before but after a quote of l~$300 to replace a UV bulb, sent two workers out and double labor charge to do quoted work and to replace a $50 pressure valve. I paid $850 and they quoted me nearly $4000 for softening system. read more

Not even one year after Siskiyou installed our water softener, we are re-doing it because the inferior parts they used are already rusting. They used a metal elbow instead of PVC that has already began to leak rust into our water supply. They made a mess of tubes and the install was real crap. Don't use these amateurs'. read more

We have called them out to our home on two separate occasions, and both times they came and fixed our issues in a quick, efficient, and friendly manner. I can't recommend them enough. We've had one other company come out on one occasion, and did not have as good of an experience (the tech from the other company was inexperienced and not very efficient, which ended up costing a lot more than it should have). I had Siskiyou out today to replace my Inline 400 pressure booster. It was only after trying repeatedly to contact two other plumbers that had worked on my house's water system in the past, not getting my calls/emails returned, that I reached out to Siskiyou. Reached a live, courteous employee who scheduled my appointment. She followed up with me the night before to confirm appt, and then day of employee (Justin) called to let me know he would be a few minutes. No problem, great communication all around. Justin was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and made some (no pressure) great recommendations on what I could do in future, to upgrade and make the system more efficient/safe. Tech came out in response to an electrical issue with my pump controller/protector. Ended up bypassing the part, his solution which he did not explain or clear with me until he'd finished. So I'm left with no protection, but a pressure system that works. He promised an estimate for a replacement part plus installation, and never delivered, even though I texted him several times and offered two different email addresses. So he billed me for his time, didn't solve my root problem, implemented a temporary solution without clearing it with me first; then, totally ghosted me. How is that professional? read more

Siskiyou came through for us! We bought a home with a pump that was not configured properly. The issue was not fixed the first visit and the service rep Cory even came back after hours on his own time to try again. Unfortunately could not repair the issue. Then Justin the owner came out and told us "he was going to make it right" and he did! Installed the appropriate filters and UV system. My mother's residential well on her farm went out. Siskiyou squeezed out time to come immediately, worked around the problem we had with squatters preventing access to vital portions of the system, put a temporary fix in place until we were able to gain access to entire system, and then quickly fixed the well at a price we could absorb, salvaging what could be salvaged and getting the system up and running again. I appreciated their concern, their multiple visits, their willingness to cope with our squatter headaches and their excellent final solution to the problem. We will be working with them again in the future to get the farm irrigation system in optimal functioning order. read more

We needed our irrigation pump replaced and they were the people we hired to replace the pump. Overall they did a nice job replacing the pump but they did not follow through and the pump ran for 18 minutes and then it would shut down. I contacted them to come back and make it right but they were busy and it was difficult to contact them. (I called them twice they called me back once and there was no other contact with them) I ended up figuring out how to fix it the pump myself by replacing the pressure switch... something in my humble opinion they should have done on a new installation. The pump was marked up about 100% from the price you can find it in Amazon, and they charged $150/hr labor ... so this new installation ran about $1200... I think this was a bit much. They did do a nice job with the pump and the piping so this is why I'm giving them three stars (A-OK)... read more

I'm glad Siskiyou Pump reached out to us. We don't totally agree about how things were handled.

Total ripoff. They charged an outrageous hourly rate and sent someone inexperienced that had to keep calling the office for help. Called them because my water stopped working after they installed a water softener. They said they'd send someone in the morning and didn't mention a price. The guy screwed around for 4 hours and replaced a circuit breaker that didn't need to be replaced. Said he can't fix the problem and handed us a $400 bill. Called the office and they tried to justify the charge and say that a repair was made, then kept asking the technician for details and finally figured out that no repair was made, but he still thought they deserved the $400. After multiple calls, they changed the charge to $300. They also continuously tried to scare us that the pump must be broken because they wanted to sell us a new one. The pump was completely fine.We even told the technician that we thought it was an electrical short, instead of saying he can't fix it and leaving he continued to waste time in order to bill us for his incompetence. In the end he agreed it was a short and said he had to charge us even though he won't be fixing anything. Straight up thieves. No honest contractor charges such a ridiculous amount for literally NOTHING. A real professional doesn't take 4 hours to figure out there is a short. read more
