It has not been a good experience with sit n sleep. The first time we bought a mattress from them which was only 18 months ago, it has been sagging and finally had someone come out and evaluate it and found it to be defective. It also is two inches shorter than the box springs. Sit n sleep gave us a full refund/replacement value of 3500.00 which I felt was very generous. We decided to go from a King to a California King size, which they didn't seem to have a problem with. When they delivered the mattress and box spring they didn't bring a replacement frame for a California King size. When I called the store, I was told that I should have asked the question about the different size of frame that was needed. They should have told me that we would need a different size frame, since they are in the business of selling mattresses and the rest of the stuff that goes along with it, frames, etc...Now they are telling me that I have to buy a different frame, and I don't think I should have to. Full refund/replacement should include the frame! Not only that but the first time they brought our first mattress 18 months ago, they delivered a queen when we bought a king and had to wait to have the right size ( and the King they brought was 2 inches shorter than the box springs). Now this time the delivery men were going to put the mattress cover on our old mattress, instead of taking the old mattress out and bringing in our new mattress and putting the cover on it. Now we have to buy a California King frame (I have to pay for a frame again) and have them come back out to deliver the mattress, box spring, and frame and put the mattress cover on that supposed to protect the mattress from everything but the cover is sitting on my dresser, what is up with that! Still waiting for our new/old mattress since the 10 year warranty is when we bought the defective mattress 18 months ago. Ten years?? read more

The delivery contract company reviewed my Ring Door Bell video and agreed for the damages caused by their driver. I sent them a letter with a receipt from the local landscaping company for the new Benda Board and advised them that if they paid quickly I wouldn't charge them for my gardeners time to repair, install, pick up and deliver the materials. I left a bad post yesterday with sit and sleep. We had bought a mattress in 2013 that had a lump you could see down the middle and long story short we spent weeks trying to get a new one which never happened. On Yelp I told my story even though it's been 3 years because when I see their ad I get upset! Then this extremely wonderful lady called and told me how sorry she was and that they want to replace our mattress up to price we paid and we can pick out anyone we want and they will even pay taxes! PS ITs a few days later and we got our mattress yesterday. Woke up this morning and we are both very happy with our new mattress! No lumps!!! And slept well. Lol did discover it's maybe an inch taller and noticed it getting out of bedthey arrived 2 hours early to deliver and I wasn't ready but they were very sweet and patient and apologized but it was fine! You're killing me Larry. These guys are con artists. Do not let the big poster of Larry pointing at you in the showroom floor with the slogan "customer satisfaction" fool you. I purchased a $4000 mattress and adjustable base. The mattress didn't work out for me and I went to exchange which they give you 60 days to do. They call it a comfort exchange when in reality it is not a comfort exchange at all. I exchanged for a mattress that was $400 cheaper and even after paying the $440 restock charge the new mattress was $400 cheaper than what I orriginally purchased. They refused to refund the $400 nor did they give me $400 store credit. Where the $400 dofference went.....in Larry's pocket. Not right. I went rounds with Causette, the store manager. The return polity posted in the store is not the same as their return policy online. The in-store posted policy even links to the online policy. Bottom line, these guys are con-artists and once you give them your koney you will not see a dime back even of you exchange for something much cheaper. Go buy your mattress at Costco...they have a generous return policy. Larry really killed me on this one. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! read more

You think that Sit & Sleep is so great? Well let me tell you all out there that they are con artist in sheeps clothing. My daughter ordered a orthopedic mattress & they delivered a form mattress & lied about it. She never got a receipt or any papers on it. They said that she signed papers on the form. She said that she lives in Florida & that she's not to fly out to Palmdale to sign papers. So S&S said that her mother signed papers, I did no such thing that it was my daughters business not mine. For S&S to come pick up the form mattress sitting in my living room even to this day. What nasty RATS! They took her money. We will not ever do business with S&S=Sit & Sleep. So people be aware of this con-artist. I give them a very bad rating. The guy at Palmdale did email me & wanted to know what I was talking about. I told him again to re-read what I said & then email me his questions. He did & found the order & then shut his mouth. Never heard from him again. You people out there be aware of this company. I decided to visit on a whim even though I thought they would be out of my price range. I was pleasantly surprised that there were several choices. The types of payments plans were all very reasonable. The only problem I had was one of the ladies helping me forgot to verify what day the delivery would be, so I ended up waiting for another day. Now the day of delivery I was very pleasantly surprised! I was given an 11-2 window, and these guys- Kevin and Christian, were there at 11:04! (The only on time delivery I'd had at all for all the new items I'd purchased for my new home) they were very friendly and took care of business quickly. They called when they were about 2 minutes away to verify if it was a gated community or not. They were super quick about the setup, and just as quick removing the old bed. Altogether maybe 7 minutes! Best delivery, super friendly, and definite kudos to Kevin and Christian. Shopping here was a great idea! read more
