We had a wonderful experience at this store. It's a great location to start, and staff are very welcoming. Joseph Flores assisted us with finding what we needed. He guided us to multiple options of mattresses with different materials and structure, and gave us plenty of space to shop independently. I have met few others who take as much pride and have as much respect for their work as Jospeh. It may seem silly, but he was right: you spend a third of your life on a bed, you want to make sure you are getting exactly what you need. I felt confident with Jospeh's recommendations, and always felt like he truly had our best interest in mind (rare for a sales person :) ). We were in need of a new mattress so we went to Sit 'n Sleep to "look around". We were greeted right away by Leo, the salesman. He listened to our needs/wants, took us through a program they have to help you determine the right mattress for you, then took us through the various mattresses options. He was so patient as we tried out several, even going back to some again. Leo was never pushy, but gave us lots of valuable information along the way. As we went back to one mattress we thought we wanted to purchase, then we saw another one next to it that was also the recommended type. We asked him about it and he told us about it and that it was a floor model available at a much discounted price. We tried it and it was perfect. Leo never missed a beat in his good attitude when we decided to purchase the floor model at a much lower price point. He was still very nice, low key. The delivery and set up was fast and easy. I came here on my long journey to find a new mattress over the holiday weekend. They are taking COVID precautions very seriously. You must pass a temperature check upon entering. They provide you a protective sheet to put down on mattresses before testing them out. Brian Jens was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with all the questions we had. As a yelp junkie, I must admit that I didn't even yelp this place before going in because hey shouldn't all of Larry's spots be the same? And I can say no, because there is only one Jennifer! Literally walked in with no expectations except to browse around for our first mattress together. We needed to make a quick decision since we were unexpectedly moving to the area in just 2 weeks so the time constraint did add some pressure on us to find a good one quickly. Jennifer was so friendly, informative, and very patient with us! I definitely suggest taking their mattress compatibility test where you say on a mattress, it scans you and takes into account what type of sleeper/ health issues you may have to help choose a 'balanced' mattress for you and your partner. This helped us navigate it down to a few mattresses and Jennifer was great in explaining to us the differences in price range to help suit what we needed. Not one moment did we feel pressured to buy from her or did we feel that she was trying to upsell anything. She was very sincere even in recommending the type of pillows we needed! After laying on a few and trying to decide between 3 memory foam mattresses, I wanted to have some time to think about it before making a costly decision bc honestly after laying on so many back and forth, they started feeling the same. I ended up making the purchase over the phone and got the pillows discounted. My husband and I came to Sit n Sleep to purchase our first King sized mattress. We knew that we liked the Tempurpedic but weren't really ready to spend that much on a bed. We did some of our own research and decided to visit the store because they sold the Nectar bed. Sit n Sleep is located upstairs and they only allow so many guests at a time, so you may have to wait your turn. They provide hand sanitizer at the entrance and when it's your turn, you are given two disposable sheets to lay on (pillow and body). Jennifer was the once to help us and showed us the nectar, which I was surprised only cost $999. It was pretty comfortable but we asked her to show us some similar beds. We tried a couple but were back and forth on the King Coil and the Nectar. I appreciate that she gave us space and let us try the mattresses instead of awkwardly staring at us lay on the beds. We were literally going back and forth between the two beds and laying on them for about 10 minutes at a time. Finally, we decided on the King Coil, which was a little more expensive ($1098- pretax). However, this was much more affordable than the other mattresses we tried at Mattress Firm which were about $1200-1500. It's only been about 5 months since we've been sleeping on our bed but so far we love it. The mattress itself provides a good amount of support but still has that plush/ soft feel we were looking for. read more

We bought a mattress for my Mom (who has dementia) about 6 months ago from Brian Jens at Sit and Sleep on Lake. He was patient, kind and gave us a great deal on her bed along with pillows and sheets. When we decided to get ourselves a new mattress, we were happy to see Brian again. I am introverted and a bit awkward and because of that, I'm not a huge fan of dealing with salespeople. We were able to sleep in our own bed and wake up in our new home on Christmas Day, thanks to Juan Orozco's help! Unfortunately, at the end of November, the place we had called home for over 7 years became uninhabitable due to a serious roof leak that lead to a partial roof and ceiling collapse in our bedroom late one evening during the heavy rain. Our old mattress, which we also bought with Juan's help several years earlier, was totaled. The renter's insurance policy would pay for a replacement mattress, but we had nowhere to deliver it since we were staying in a hotel and our old home was still in disrepair. While we were looking for a new place to live, Sit 'N Sleep found and provided the six year old receipt of the first mattress we bought from them to our renter's insurance adjuster. Sit 'N Sleep also helped determine replacement cost and current like-model since our previous mattress had been discontinued. After we finally found a new home, there was little time between when I needed to place my order and when Sit 'N Sleep could deliver so that we could be in our new home on Christmas morning. Juan quickly helped me find a new mattress within our budget (which we LOVE) that was in stock and available to be delivered on Dec. 23rd. (All of our possessions were packed and moved out of our old home into our new home on the same day; it was a very long day.) We were able to check out of the hotel on Dec. 24th and wake up in our new home, on our new mattress, for the first time on Christmas morning! Went shopping for a mattress on Saturday and looked at nearby ortho and mattress city. It was a very strange experience going to the other two, as they feel like it's back in the 80s where salesman are trying to negotiate and their listed price can be cut nearly 50%! Why heck can't they just show you their lowest price? I hate that. However, sit n' sleep is sort of like the Best Buy of mattresses. It's great. no hassles, no negotiating, no sales pitches, no pressure. nothing like the other stores. I would highly recommend this place. We had a very knowledgeable lady help us and she really operated from the perspective of the customer, rather than focusing on the sale. We never felt we were being sold to. I was a bit concerned that we were not informed about the less expensive, more economical mattresses and were immediately introduced to the higher priced ones, but at least we were sold the most expensive ones first (this was done at the other mattress places, especially at Mattress City, so I'm puzzled why they have so many 5-star reviews) read more

Today at Pasadena store I requested to exchange my two mattress bases. The Assistant Manager said he cannot help me at the store level and told me to call the customer service, or come again several days later when the manager is here. I stayed at the store and called the customer service number that he gave me. Customer services representative asked me which store I purchased it and I told him it was Pasadena. He then put my call on hold and called Pasadena store. The Pasadena store manager heard the phone rang, picked it up and IMMEDIATELY hanged up. I continued staying in the store and called the customer service number again. In the middle of my conversation with the customer services, the Assistant Manager without my consensus hijacked my call by grabbing my phone, talked to the customer rep. and told him to dismiss my request. I was totally SHOCKED! I don't deserved to be mistreated. It was not about whether the request was approved or not, but the way they treating and handling customers. I requested to exchange the bases but not the mattresses and ended up the customer service INFORMED me they were cancelling my whole order (2 mattress and 2 bases which have been delivered and worth $8000+) and scheduling a pick up. I have always bought my beds at Sit n Sleep and they have always been very good, reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jennifer Cho sold me my bed back in January and she couldn't have been any nicer, she was very professional, and knew a lot about the beds. It turns out, my bed was defective and started sagging after a few months. I called customer service and they sent out a person to inspect the mattress, and it turned out the mattress was defective. I went back to the store this week and Jennifer Cho helped me again and I got the same wonderful customer service from her. Sit n Sleep honored their warranty, and I was able to pick out a new bed at no charge, with no questions asked. Jennifer apologized for the inconvenience and as usual, the delivery of mr new bed is within 2 to 3 days. I will always shop at Sit n Sleep. read more

My compliments to Jennifer Cho for saving a hideous experience that began in the Glendale store. My client needed a new bed (MD recommended.) She and her caregiver went to the Glendale store. They meet with Danny; after selecting a mattress were spun and over charged. I contacted Danny and explained a business check would be mailed for payment. Check received on July 2nd. Delivery scheduled for the fifth. Morning of the fifth - can't deliver today it's a business check - rescheduled for the ninth. Morning of ninth Danny called - haven't deposited check, need your ID - check will take 10 days to clear. FULL STOP. I requested the check be returned - as of this writing has not arrived in my mail. I reached out to Jennifer. She contacted the caregiver, reviewed the order - ended up saving about $400. I arranged for payment; all issues simply resolved. Delivery is today. Jennifer SHOULD receive all credit and commission on this sale. She closed the deal - which would have never happened without her intervention. I could have gone to another company and the deal would have been lost. read more
