Where to start! Well number one they are extremely attentive without being overbearing. Lisa had the experience, expertise and she was incredibly genuine. No used care salesmanship in short she was an asset like a personal assistant it almost seemed like she was Taylor made for my wife and I. They have a system called bedmatch it takes a digital imprint of your body and matches you to a set of beds. It simplified a huge store into a few choices instead of the I don't know 50 beds that are in the store. She was an expert on why each bed was different and didn't try to steer us towards the most expensive models. Just was a guide to the process. Then came the financial part. We took the 36 month 0% option min down payment. Took about 10 minutes and we were approved. No big push for upgrades had options but nothing that a simple no didn't solve. No push back We were in and out in about an hour and that was on us. We weren't in a hurry. Now the delivery we had a window of 1-4 came at one they were finished at 1:05. It wasn't rushed just organized and efficient seriously took longer take the pictures than it did for the set up. They took the old mattress away and were off to the next delivery. It's been over 5 years with our expensive mattress, and I still hate it. We'll finally be replacing it soon because I just can't take how uncomfortable it is anymore. The mattress is comfortable at first but does not last long. Your body will sink in the parts of the bed you sleep on and stay that way. We spent thousands and I wake up in pain every day and my "cooling" mattress is anything but that. We rotate the bed regularly to avoid this as we've done with all mattresses we have had, and this is the only time we have had this issue. Another big regret is purchasing the adjustable base that day . I do not think it is compatible with the mattress as they claim and I believe it contributed to the mattress wearing unevenly or losing support over time. I may attempt to call and see if they will do anything with the warranty, but I have heard that everything voids it especially after a few years. Not sure I have the metal capacity right now to deal with all that but will report back on how it went if I do. read more

I've been to this giant store for 2 days in a row and it is closed. Both at different times of the day. It's Labor Day weekend and your ads are on tv all day. There is not one car in a huge parking lot. It is very difficult to get into the parking lot/store because it's between a freeway on ramp and a fire station. I am looking for a high end electric bed. Bought a mattress highly recommended by seles representative(beauty rest). Bought all the extra items to ensure mattress would last the 10 year warranty. That included the bed frame made of real wood. Also bought mattress protector as well as the linens that would make our hot summer nights cooler. My husband and I started experiencing back aches in 2024 (4years after purchase). We turned the mattress periodically as recommended but nothing helped. Reached out to sit n sleep in tarzana where purchase was made. They sent an inspector who stood mattress and inside dropped to the bottom!! He said he'd send report in and we would hear from dit n sleep soon. We received a letter that due to not having proper frame, they could not replace our mattress!! I explained that we had purchase recommended frame at their own store and everything else already mentioned above, but they kept giving me the same answer: NO. I asked to speak to a supervisor who just apologized and said there was nothing she could do, since she was not the one that recommended the bed frame I bought! An expensive one, may I add. Every time I see sit and sleep commercials, my stomach aches at how they lie. All this happened about 3 months a go or so and had let it go, but honestly, it's not ok to not keep their promise of being completely satisfied or they would replace your mattress or money. I've just got to say, I don't know what it is, but every mattress I've purchased from them sags in the center, and 3 of 5 have failed their inspection process. The replacements also caved in sooner than expected. The last bed I bought from them lasted a year. It was a King Koil pillow top, and it caved in a bit too but not as severe as the prior ones. I'd awaken with red marks on both hips and in some pain. Upon inspection one day, I found the culprit-Hard plastic pieces lay under each supposedly soft button. Every pillow top has them, but good ones are cushioned with soft cotton under each button. Finally, I felt that enough is enough! Time to dump them, no, way past time. I bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress ( cool n memory foam). However Sit-N-Sleep did NOT honor the warranty! The mattress immediately started to sink, then they referred me to Tempurpedic cooperations... But they wanted to charge 150.00 dollars just to come out and take pictures of my mattress. I said no & took my own pictures. They told me to use a broom handle and quarter and put it in my bed?? The broom stick had to be angled a certain way and the quarter must be leaning on the broomstick. I did as they asked and sent the pictures in, then they asked me to re-do it two more times. They would not honor a replacement.... Do not invest in this company!! If you do, they will not honor your warranty if you have any problems whatsoever! They said at the time of the purchase it said what the warranty requirements would be, but it indeed did not say that. Nothing was said regarding what the method they use not to honor your warranty... This mattress was too expensive not to honor my warranty, and on top of that it's an absolute horror to sleep in. I have already written a review. Sit and sleep in Tarzana's location has salesman that don't know what they're doing. I went into the store try the mattress and it had no indications on the mattress other than price, whether it was a firm and extra firm or soft, medium. What I tried in the store was a firm and the salesman insisted was a medium and I thought well. This is pretty comfortable. Sure feels like a firm. I wanted a full bed and I wanted a medium and the salesman told me that company doesn't make firm. So I laid on that bed that they had in the showroom and I said are you sure this is a medium? This feel more like a firm he said oh no no this is a medium And I said OK fine I got the bed. What was sent to me was not the firm bed that was on the showroom floor I received a medium. I got the wrong mattress. They will not take it back unless I pay a delivery fee and a restocking fee when it's not my mistake it is theirs. They are the most I think worst company that engages in such deceptive and I think illegal business practices. They are violating even their own contract. And the mattress manufacturer says that they leave it up to sit and sleep to maintain the warranty on the bed. So what I have is an almost $500 mattress that's worth a piece of shit to me Like laying on cotton balls or marshmallows and I have back problems and because I've tried to sleep on it I've had to seek medical attention and go to a chiropractor for my back. All I can say is stay away from the Tarzana location and really stay away from sit and sleep if you can Again this is my experience factual and true. Since the government has shut down organizations that can help consumers, I was left to go to the credit card company to resolve the issue and of course they decided with sit and sleep . right now I don't know what sit and sleep told them, but whatever it was it was nothing but a pack of lies. It started great... finished horribly. We got there and Amanda was super helpful she showed us all the options and we ended up spending $9k on one of the top mattresses, super satisfied with the purchase and the service so far. The delivery was supposed to be for today, I received an email last night confirming the delivery within the time frame. Everything was fine until that point. I received a call from the driver saying "What's up dude! we are here but just to let you know we didn't know that it was a king size and I don't have enough people to carry that, still, let me check and I let you know." He went to check, I called the store, and at the store, they told me that it shouldn't be a problem because the frame came in parts. Then the driver told me that because he didn't have enough people to carry the mattress, I needed to sign a waiver for damages. I said no! it's not my problem that you don't have enough people. and then He said that I needed to understand, that they are independent contractors, they don't have the people to do the work. Unfortunately, that's not my problem, I arranged everything for the delivery today. And then, the store manager or whoever called me from that store, made it worse, saying that when I explained what the driver said to me, He wasn't there to confirm that happened. Calling me a liar? And then when I asked for a refund or cancelation he told me that the salesperson would not get paid for this... I know they work under commission, but, was necessary to mention that over the phone? We were very happy with the purchase. So sad that they threw everything away because of how they handled the delivery and service after an unsatisfied customer. We were approaching the 60mins mark and again mention to Chris that we understood if he was not going to be able to finish helping us as the store was closing soon. This is my third mattress purchased from sit n sleep over the years. First I had Chattam And Wells(so bummed they went out of business) Then an Air loom, now King coil. I used the bed match technology, but Chris suggested the blue category and that's what it said too! I tried several mattresses, and wanted to stay within my budget. Chris was very knowledgeable and friendly, never pushy. I like coming here because they care and I got my new mattress delivered today. Rude, arrogant, and condescending. That's how I'd describe my experience at Sit 'n Sleep, Tarzana. My girlfriend and I came in looking for a new mattress this past Sunday afternoon. We told the salesperson what we were looking for in a new mattress, and ones that we had seen in other showrooms. He proceeded to tell us that they didn't have the same mattresses as their competitors... and then nothing. No, "let's see what we can find that's similar" or any other engagement. My girlfriend had to ask for him to show us what he did have, but it was us pointing him to show us different mattresses - there was little engagement on his part. When we asked the difference between one mattress from another he would give us an analogy like "that one is like a Toyota and this one is a like Mercedes" as if that actually means anything when talking about mattresses. He was unable to give us any factual details of what the differences really were. When I asked if the price of a box spring was separate, (because Macy's includes it) in a all too smug tone he said, "Let me guess, it's been a while since you've bought a mattress." I literally just stared at him for a beat in disbelief wondering if he thinks he's being funny. My girlfriend broke the silence saying, that she had had enough and we were leaving. As we were walking away he just said "ok" in a I could care less tone. I think he was genuinely relieved. So was he just "mansplaining" to us girls? Did he have a problem with an LGBTQ+ couple? Or was he going through something personal that he couldn't compartmentalize during work? He definitely gave off personality disorder vibes because there was no effort to connect with us - and I should know as a therapist.
