I'll update this because Vic does not want to own up to his company's actions: never did I say you swore at me. What you did say to me, I posted. Remember when I told you on the phone, "I am going to make sure your future customers know everything you are yelling at me?" I was not lying. And do not say "oil fell". What happened was, The men YOU Sent to my house (who did not work for Sofa U Love, they made clear) knocked over an expensive house decoration and in the process ruined the couch you made and my floor and side table. It did not magically fall. Mistakes happen. We understand that totally. How a company reacts when their business/employees make a mistake says everything about the company. You did not apologize. You screamed at me, you blamed me, you mocked me and told me to quit whining. I guess if people want their floors and couch ruined they can come here for sure:) read more

Just bought my 2nd sofa from here in 13 yrs. The quality is fantastic! My mom liked my couch so much she took my old one and I got a new one. My old couch was still in great shape after 13 years. Easy to clean. Only had a little sun damage/fading, but she may replace the slip covers. Great value and selection of colors/fabrics and speedy construction for a custom sofa. Liz L. WARNING!!!!!!!!!!! Never buy from this company...they do not care one bit about their customers or customer service! We bought a custom chair which turned out amazing. A month later, we went back to buy a matching ottoman. The ottoman did not match the chair, however. It was higher than the seat of the chair, and the legs didn't match. We returned the ottoman to have it fixed. After 2 months of hearing no updates, we went in to see the manager Arson. He told us "I don't know what to tell you." What??? What kind of an answer is that? We took this a bit further and talked to the main store, which promised to get back to us, but never did. It has been 18 months and we still do not have our ottoman. We now have an attorney working on the case, and will be taking legal action. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! read more

Bought a sectional from sofas u love in woodland hills. David took care of us. The sofa was delivered and it's absolutely perfect. The material we picked is beautiful, the sectional is clearly well made and to our custom specifications with a hideaway bed. David was easy to deal with very knowledgeable and always did his best to stay in touch returning phone calls etc. I would give them 4 1/2 stars if possible only taking away a little bit for the fact that the sofa was a little late in delivery. Ordered a custom sectional due some weird angles in our family room and i goofed up on the back pillow design which caused the sofa to be extremely uncomfortable . We panicked since we paid thousands and thought we would need to redo the sofa. We called Arson our salesmen out to our home and without flinching said "no problem, we will remake all of the pillows". I was super impressed with what he said. While it took much longer than what we were told for the replacement and several calls, we received what he promised in the end and we are super thrilled. Our first experience with sofa u love goes back about 15 years ago with a different sofa and that one held up well with heavy usage. Eric appears to think he's to good to assist a customer when visiting his store location (acting busy behind desk - definitely not eager to make a sale), with a customer that had cash in hand to buy a new couch and I'm asking questions? He's not asking not interested. Asked/Inquired about quality of product (when it visually appears price point is too high for a factory outlet location) selling couches for $2600, with threads coming out of the cushions, seriously? and they were show room floor examples? Come on...clearly they need to be replaced. Definitely not a selling feature when dropping almost $3K. Absolutely pathetic to see people "working" in the "service industry" when clearly I'm not...there to spend money. Find another line of work. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

I was an easy customer. Knew what I wanted and picked out fabric within minutes The gentlemen Arsen was very polite and helpful. The delivery was as promised two weeks. The delivery people were very nice My problem is that the chair and half (2 ) and ottoman we're not as fluffy and stuffed as the ones on the show room floor. Same for the 8'x8' sofa. We visited the Woodland Hills location on June 14, Arsen was our salesman, was very nice and answered all of our questions. My wife and I picked out the sofa style and fabrics, and paid a deposit of 50% on a very expensive custom sofa. Delivery was scheduled for June 26th. The next day Arsen called to let us know that the delivery date was incorrect and that July 2nd would be the real delivery date - no big deal, we have a sofa to sit on till then. Preparing for our delivery on July 2nd, we moved our current sofa out of the house, no small task, but were excited to receive our new custom sofa that day. Not hearing from the delivery center, I called, and they needed to call me back.... Arsen then called and explained that the fabric we ordered was delivered in bad condition, and was afraid if they ordered the fabric again, that they couldn't guarantee that it would be usable either, and suggested we come by and pick out new fabric.. OK. Arsen offered us any fabric in the room for no extra charge, and a loaner sofa (never delivered). Odd how they knew this but didn't call to let us know, saving us from moving our furniture prematurely. Promising that the sofa would be made within a week, we held our breath and waited. No calls about the ETA on delivery. So, I called Arsen on July 11 and left a message asking about the ETA, to which he said "it is almost done, just one more day and it should be delivered on either Friday (July 12) or Monday (July 15)"... Nothing. On Tuesday I left another message asking for our sofa, or a loaner sofa, or a refund. Arsen calls back and says it should be delivered on Thursday July 18th. Thursday (today) rolls around, and no call from the delivery center on an ETA, so I call them. I get put through to Johnny who doesn't know they were delivering a sofa to me that day, and asks if he can call me right back. No phone call back, so I call again. He says they are still tailoring our sofa and want it to come out perfect, and it can be delivered the next day, Friday! I asked why this would take so long, since I was told that it was almost done a week ago. I also asked why I should believe that it will be delivered tomorrow since we had already been told 4-5 different delivery dates with no such luck. He then told me that they would in fact deliver it today. We'll see. Its not worth the hassle. You are better of buying from Urban Home, Pottery Barn, or Macy's. read more

The original fabric I chose was on back order, and I needed this sofa bed before the holidays due to house guests. I popped in the store and found a nearly identical fabric match that was in stock, and it's beautiful! My experience at Sofa U Love was excellent. The gentleman I worked with, Arsen, was just terrific. He was very helpful and accommodating. I went back and forth many times to the store and he was very patient with me and not pushy at all. They do deliver in 2 weeks which is exactly what they promise.
