***A FUN, RELAXING AND REWARDING SHOPPING EXPERIENCE*** My husband and I have been patiently waiting for the opportune moment to purchase a new bed for ourselves and our children, so our visit to Sit 'n Sleep couldn't have come at a better time. During my husband's drive to work, he was listening to the radio and heard a Sit 'n Sleep advertisement for 48 months 0% interest financing on all merchandise in their store during their Labor Day sale. When my husband shared the news with me it was an immediate answer to prayer, and we quickly arranged our evening to visit our neighborhood Sit 'n Sleep! When we arrived at Sit 'n Sleep we were immediately greeted by friendly sales associate, Clef Santiago. We explained to Clef that we were looking for new beds for our family and were interested in a natural bed, alternative to what we've previously purchased. We began our bed search with a visit to the Bed Match machine: a high-tech bed connected to a computer processor that matches your body and sleep patterns to help you select the mattress that's the best fit for you. Our match was blue which falls right in the middle--not too soft and just below firm. It's a little reminiscent of the "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" story, hehe! We arose from the Bed Match machine, gathered our belongings and followed Clef to the other end of the store to try out their best natural bed--the Spink & Edgar. Spink & Edgar is a 130-year-old British company that creates luxury beds featuring the first ever farm-to-bedroom concept. Their beds are made from all natural materials sourced straight from their family farm in England, which has also received the Queen of England's award for innovation and sustainability. Needless to say, we fell in LOVE with the product!! Fortunately for us, a representative from Spink & Edgar was in the store and gave us an in depth description of their manufacturing process and warranty. At that point we were sold on the idea of owning a natural bed with a 20-year warranty, but the real selling point for us is when Clef explained that the manufacturer had brought in a real sheep from their farm in England to demonstrate the quality of their product to all Sit 'n Sleep sales associates. We. Were. Sold! Clef then showed us the best quality bed frame (made from patented steel T-rails) to support our Spink & Edgar box spring and mattress, and offered us a great deal on two twin beds for our children. Throughout our shopping experience Clef was kind, patient, and thorough and answered all of our questions, and we left the store feeling SUPER excited about our new purchase!! This is our second time purchasing beds from this Sit 'n Sleep location (our first purchase was 9 years ago) which has been in business for more than 20 years and always provides the same exceptional customer service. I went in about 8 months ago and Adam was super helpful. He explained a lot to me about what I needed for my body type and sleep position and did the bed match for me. He took a lot of time with me and was very patient and knowledgeable. I felt bad that I didn't buy the bed but I came back today and was so happy Adam was there! Recently my bf and I visited the Sit'nSleep located in Tarzana on Ventura Blvd and unfortunately we had a very off-putting experience. The gentleman Alex Muro who "helped us" was a very poor salesman. His disposition was unwelcoming and unprofessional from the start. When we told him what our budget was and that we were interested in a King size mattress he responded with "Where did you get that number?" Followed by "Who is this for a child?" His tone was extremely condescending. His sales tactic seemed to be based on making customers feel insecure in order to bait them in an attempt to get them to spend more money. Very dissatisfied. We decided we did not want to do business with Alex so we made a trip out of our way to the Northridge location where Joe helped us. The experience was night and day. Joe was extremely welcoming, offered us the sleep diagnostic test, was very thorough in educating us on our options, we walked away with a mattress we are now very happy with. read more

Let me start by saying that prior to visiting this location I checked out options at Ashley and other mattress stores. All of them too pushy and really didn't care for my needs rather their own agenda. This location was the best choice and most comfortable to make decision. It was my first time went to actual mattress store for me. I used to go to any discount furniture stores and purchase most comfortable one in the store. When my husband and I walked in to this store, Alex the consultant took us to their bed matching system. After that he showed us several suitable mattresses for us. Alex was very knowledgeable and explained the differences thoroughly. He was not pushy about any price range and he was really patient with our 2.5 year old running around! After we picked the one that we like, he quickly set up the delivery date and time. Delivery came in on time and they setup new bed quickly. My husband and I had been talking about getting a new mattress for a long time and finally, one date night a couple of weeks ago, we decided to "just check some out". On the way to dinner, we stopped across the street at Sit 'n Sleep. We went over to the main showroom, answered a few questions on a computer screen, and laid down on a mattress that magically adjusted and figured out what kind of mattress would be best for us. Alex came over to help us find the right one. He also introduced us to the power base. We spent a decent amount of time "just-looking" and Alex was great at showing us the things that fit what we wanted, as well as answering all of our questions, and never rushed us or made us feel like we were taking too long. We tried several mattresses, I tried multiple pillows, and we ended up leaving there with a new mattress, power base, 2 new pillows, 2 sets of new sheets that actually do keep cool, and mattress and pillow protectors. Our bed was delivered a couple of days later and the men that set it up were fantastic. They even lowered it for us after their set up was done. Our overall experience, from start to finish, was excellent. We still have a sheet set coming that was on backorder, and the customer service and follow up has been excellent. We have no doubt that we made the right decision coming to this location, and while we don't plan on getting a new mattress for the next 10 years, we have other beds in our home and plan on coming here when it is time to set them up new. read more

My wife and I have been dreaming of a new mattress for over a year now. Our crappy queen size sleep number bed had to go. As if to stress the importance of this purchase, the frequency of elbows to my face at 3 AM increased exponentially over the last 2 months. A black eye gotten at 4:03 AM on Saturday morning pushed me over the edge. By 9 AM we were at Sit N Sleep purchasing a new mattress set. We were actually in the market for a Serta Perfect Sleeper bed. We slept on one last Summer during our stay at the Oakwood Corporate apartments, and we really enjoyed the experience. Anyway, turns out Sit 'N Sleep no longer carry Serta on their floor... Quality issues, said the salesperson. Now of course, I can buy that... After all, we slept well for a month on a Serta perfect sleeper, but hotels are known to replace their mattresses every 6 months or so... Those mattresses are in fact quite cheap. Yada-yada-yada... the salesperson convinced us to try something else. We explained our needs: king size so I don't get elbows in my face every night... good coil count so that getting in and out of bed does not automatically wake up your spouse... Soft, but still good back support. We got ourselves a SPR Cal King bed for $1400 and the best part... they could deliver it the next day, Sunday... So we actually got to sleep on our new bed last night and daymmmmnn... that's a nice bed! Minus one star for whoever they contract the delivery to. Those guys were serious assholes with attitude. Total pricks who didn't want to move our old bed since we weren't getting rid of it.. No doubt they got a scheme where they take the old bed and sell it on the street themselves... I dunno... Anyway they were serious pricks. I *almost* took 2 stars off, but the salesperson on the floor of their Tarzana store was super nice... so 4 stars it is. Freddy helped me and first showed me the mattress I came in asking about, then had be check out the "bed match" machine that measures how I lie in bed and sleep, then gives a suggestion on what mattress is right for me. The very next mattress that Freddy showed me was the perfect one (and I had tried out several after that and kept coming back to that one).
