Site-1 adds to an already great brewery scene in midtown and downtown Omaha. While none of the four beers I've tried here blow me away, the vibe inside is cool with it's space/lunar aesthetic. It definitely sets it apart from other breweries in the area. Site-1 isn't a place I visit frequently but I can't wait to try something new when I drop in. Such a cool spot! Love the location and decor inside. The bartenders were so friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 flights of beers - were blown away by how much we enjoyed all 8 different ones! They have such a wide selection of beers. Very impressed. The food wasn't too bad, we ordered a philly cheesesteak and a pretzel. I was disappointed in the pretzel, it was very hard / dry and tough. The cheesesteak wasn't bad, but I don't think I'd order it again. We will absolutely come back here for the beers soon! Site-1 is a great addition to the Omaha beer scene. The quality of beer is among the very best in the state, food options are limited, but is tasty and well made, the space is comfortable for spending time enjoying excellent beer, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, Site-1 is open for lunch, which is so rare these days for bars and breweries in the Omaha area. Will change the rating to five stars if a few more healthy food options are added. Their beers are thoughtfully made, and so clean. One sip and you'll know the quality is a step above the rest. If you're in the mood for a German style lager, THIS is your place. In the past I have had a great time at this Brewery, but we walked in tonight on a Friday at 9 and were told that we could not get any beer. Online says it closes at 10. First time here. Beers were great, but service was awful. It's 900 on a Saturday night, with 14 customers here and two other people at the bar besides myself, and I waited over 5 minutes to get helped because the two bartenders are more focused on making after-shift plans with one of the customers at the bar. I finally got helped, and no conversation asking about my beer sampler or anything else. If you're a beer cooperative - let alone an actual brewery - I feel like your first goal should be asking patrons about the beer samples you finally served. I have had zero interaction with anyone on staff. I can find their primary beers elsewhere and won't be back here anytime soon. I give one star for the beer. Otherwise it would be zero. Site-1 has some of my favorite Omaha beers. The food is always on point. Unlike a lot of other brew pubs, the menu changes pretty frequently. The last time I went I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was perfect. The pork is smoked in-house and it really makes a difference. I highly recommend! read more
