The ambiance is like a "hole in the wall" style pub with concrete floors and booths like you'd find in Dublin. There's an area at the back with leather chairs, dart boards, and a few board games. I'm not sure if it gets pretty busy at times, but we were the only group of people there when we went, and it seemed rather large and empty. The bartender was a little snippety, but I wasn't sure if this was part of the "schtick" or not, because she wasn't mean or rude, just a little short and hurrying us up to order (humming the Jeopardy theme song when someone was looking at the menu to decide). I took it as funny, so not mad about it or anything. I liked the vibe of the place feeling like you're in Ireland almost, but the cost is a bit expensive for the tiny beer sizes you get. Also you would think for trying to be an Irish pub type theme, they'd serve drinks in real pint glasses, but I got a tiny 12oz or so plastic cup of beer for $5. The dumplings were delicious and the pork was some of the most tender, flavorful I have ever had. I think the gravy could have use a tad more salt (and I never add extra salt to anything) and I would've like the sauerkraut to be a bit more tart, but I understand that's a personal preference.
