Had a large work group go to dinner here on a Thursday night. I could not say more nice things about the staff - they cared so much and didn't allow the big group to seem intimidating! All of the drinks and food were brought out super quick! I got the steak rice bowl and it was AMAZING. I also can speak on the Pomegranate Lemon Drop - 10/10. I would love to come back here and try more food and drinks! Also, the cheese curd sampling is a must!

Loved the banana bread beer and fair cheese curds. Thanks for putting the NHL games on by request and the quick service A bit of a quiet atmosphere (aside from standard music) perhaps due to the storm and grey cold weather. Construction was like a safari to get through, had to be very cautious.

Starting off with my biggest complaint for any place is the added charge (3% here) for paying with a card instead of cash. It's a crappy thing to do so we probably won't be back just because of that which is unfortunate because we like the place for noon NFL games. Otherwise, the burgers were pretty good and my jalapeño burger went well with the fruity beer. Pickles were overly salted and thin, so they weren't too great.

Came here for valentines lunch! They were very busy and were out of some beer options. We ordered the jalepeno popper burger and the chicken teriyaki rice bowl, with the Melvin and a dirty martini to drink. My husband enjoyed his burger and beer! I liked the flavor of the chicken teriyaki and my only qualm was that the egg was a bit runny. The dirty martini wasn't very good. Overall pretty good food and nice sports bar vibe!

Omaha Tap House is one of my go-to places for a great burger, and their menu has something to accommodate for any taste. I personally always opt for the brown sugar burger, and it has never disappointed me! The cheese curds are delicious, and I always recommend the sweet potato fries here! It is laid back and perfect for a meal with friends or family, but my boyfriend and I consistently eat here for date nights! Our service has varied, but it is normally great and our last waitress here was very attentive!

I was in Omaha for work and ended up at Omaha Tap House Downtown for dinner right after landing. A good burger and a cold beer were exactly what I needed, and this place nailed both. The burger was juicy, the beer selection was solid, and it all just hit the spot after a long travel day. If I'm ever back in the area, I could definitely see myself stopping by again to see what else they've got going on. It's got that laid-back vibe that makes you want to hang out for a bit.

What a nice little spot in downtown Omaha. We got in last night about an hour before a concert and needed a quick bite. Omaha Tap House was a few minutes walk from our hotel so that's what we did. Cute little restaurant with nice staff. I had a bison burger and a drink I can't remember the name of. The drink was okay but nothing spectacular. The burger was very good. My friend enjoyed hers too. Service was good but not amazing. I'd try again.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a super late lunch around three! The food came out really fast after we ordered. My boyfriend got the Hickory burger and said that it was pretty tasty. I got the garlic parmesan boneless wings which was good too- it came out with a lot of sauce as you can see in the picture! The fries were definitely my favorite part of the meal, idk what kind of seasoning they use but it was really good! It was a nice casual dining experience.

I've been here a few times and the food is always great. The cheese curds (any kind) are a must have, and the burgers and fries never disappoint. This time the host tried to seat us at a small two-person table that was way too close to another group, so we asked to sit at the bar instead. It didn't seem super busy with tables open, maybe just short on servers, but the bar worked out. The bartender was friendly, attentive without overdoing it, and gave us great service. Overall, the food is excellent and the service is decent. Definitely worth coming for the cheese curds alone.

I will rave about these cheese curds until the day i die. They have 4 (i think?) different styles of cheese curds and you cannot go wrong with any of them. The burgers are pretty good too. Not my absolute favorite in Omaha, but good. My friend got their wings, which were pretty good too. Nothing special about them, but good. They do get really busy, especially on weekends, so definitely join the waitlist if you can!! Their waiting area is also TINY, so the wait isn't great with its busy.

A good burger with some crispy onion rings! I loved the flavor of the cheese and ranch but they were a little too runny. Hard to keep it on the tray or food and not on me! The service was good and i enjoyed the hospitality from our server!

Best cheese curds that I have ever had. This is something that is thrown around a lot "best I have had". But truly mean it. Curds are probably my most go to app at a restaurant and these never disappoint. Burger was okay though.

    Sweet Potato Fries

Stopped into Omaha Tap House and ordered the rotisserie chicken salad and sweet potato fries - both were excellent. The salad came loaded with tender rotisserie chicken, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, and these amazing candied pecans that made every bite a mix of savory and sweet. The sweet potato fries were the real show-stealer though - perfectly crisp with a brown sugar coating that basically turned them into dessert in disguise. Definitely ordering both again.

Most of the highlight was the various types of burgers and fries they had, so my partner and I got two kinds, and we both enjoyed our respective meals. I had the block burger, which was as good as I imagined it to be, with juicy patty cooked to medium and every ingredient needed to make a good burger. The poutine had a lot of beef gravy and cheese curds, which made the dish a comprehensive experience to consume, rather than just fries. The duck duck goose fries were amazing! The duck confit, cheese curds, mayo, gravy, and gooseberry gastrique combination worked super well on top of the fries, because they altogether basically made it a gourmet dish that I had to eat with a fork. Finally, the sloppy nick was seasoned very well, even if we got the vegan version, which used impossible meat instead of ground beef. It was still really great! Hope everyone who visits Omaha gets to try this spot! Their wall has quite a few articles that recognized them as a locally renowned burger joint, and I could see why. Since they can be busy, I would recommend people getting there earlier to secure a good table spot, if dining in.

Having just got to town and hungry for lunch I walked a few blocks to Block 16. I came because I…read moreread amazing reviews about them and saw they won numerous awards. I also checked out their menu and noticed it was definitely a unique, interesting menu. Upon walking in, there was a line backed up to the door and I waited in it about 15 mins and it didn't move one person, but I used this time to check out the menu and decide what I wanted. After noticing the line not moving and the cashier in heavy discussion with the family that was there placing their order, I felt it might be best to use their online ordering for carryout pickup instead. While doing this, the line moved up once and I suppose that next party had questions too and of course, plenty of time was spent answering those questions. This might seem like good service, but when the line is that long, either have more people there taking orders or use a kiosk for those of us who don't need to ask questions, or remind guests that there are many others in line (probably after the first 5 mins of discussing the menu) and the line needs to move up. After I placed my order, it told me it was accepted and gave me a time range of when to expect my order. I sat down and waited until the end of that range, which was only a few mins, and then went back up to the pick up area to ask about my order. The lady working was very friendly when I explained what I did. She gave me a number and told me she'd bring my order out, she also gave me the drink I pre-ordered. A few mins later, she brought my food out. I looked around to notice that people who were waiting for food prior to me still hadn't gotten their food. I'm not sure if it's always this slow in there or if it was busy because there's a conference in town. Opening the clamshell that my food was in - I noticed a beautiful sandwich and fries. The fries were piping hot and crispy and tasted great. The sandwich looked really nice, but when I went to pick it up, I noticed the entire bottom was soaked in grease and their hot sauce that was on the chicken. So, I fork & knifed this meal. The flavors of all the parts of the sandwich together were nice, just wish I could have picked it up without being a mess. If I ever returned, I'd get something different.

After a couple of minutes, I went back up to the counter and asked if they had already started making it, because I wanted to change my order. The kitchen was open, so I said to the cook, "Don't worry about it if you've already started. I know my indecision can impact people, and I don't want to be a problem." He looked at me and said, "No, it's totally fine. Would you like some veggies on the side?" "Yes, that would be amazing," I said, and walked back to my table... and burst into tears. It wasn't just what he said. It was the kind energy in his eyes. I felt someone who took pride in what he was making, and who genuinely wanted people to be happy. I found myself asking, why am I crying? Because in a world where so many people in power feel disconnected, where corporations can make us feel like numbers, being genuinely cared for in a small café reminded me how much I love humans. Most people have love in their hearts and are trying to share it in their own small ways. As the world cracks, these simple things are more meaningful than ever.

We love a great Reuben, and the Orleans Room version is that good. It is now tied with the Goose Hallow Inn from Portland that we have enjoyed twice. The greeting at the front was slow. There were only three tables in the dining room, and our server and someone else were conversing in the bar area. After we were finally sat, our daughter wanted Rose by the glass. I noticed the price of the glass was $15, but the bottle was $28? So of course we ordered the bottle. It was a perfect mid-afternoon treat. The server Lainey, was friendly, but it seemed to take too long to receive the bottle of wine. The Reuben...wow. The corned beef was so good and tender. The french fries were coated and remained hot and crisp thru the meal. The 1000 dressing is house made and terrific. The Sandwich alone leads me to give the Orleans Room 5 stars. We were also impressed by the approachability and friendliness of the GM, Mr. Johnson, and the Exec. Chef, Brandon. The General Manager told us of the great history of the Orleans Room and the former President's that had frequented the hotel, which is owned by Kimpton. We will definitely return to the Orleans Room for another Reuben on our next trip to Omaha.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife.
