My experience with this company was fine, until it wasn't. I booked specific dates and times, but…read morelater I was text-messaged by the company that they needed to adjust my delivery times for both drop off and pick up. Ok, fine. Not a big deal. It was inconvenient for me and it was outside the contract I signed, but I adjusted my schedule to make it work. I was not given a specific pick up time. I was told it would be "some time after noon". The day of pickup, without notice, I received a text message at 3pm they were at my house. Within 15 minutes replied, yes, please stop by and pick them up. They did not. They came back 2 hours later and when I did not answer my phone they called the cops on me and accused me of stealing her property! The lack of coordination and professionalism in this company compels me to not recommend anyone use this company. Oh also, I wasn't going to mention anything to her, but I was charged an extra $25 for sandbags that were never used?

We rented tables, table clothes, & chairs from Absolute Event Rentals for my daughter's medical…read moreschool graduation and Air Force promotion party, and many of the folding chairs were so rusted they were unsafe to use and aesthetically would've ruined the upscale party we put together, had we used them. We had to scramble on the day of the event to borrow chairs from friends. When I raised the issue, the response was dismissive. After several emails, they admitted they had gone through their inventory but still offered nothing for the unusable chairs. When I requested a discount for a future event, I was told to inspect every chair myself at pick-up and that 'no discount would be given.' How can they completely dismiss me after I was willing to give them another chance? As a retired hospitality professional, in Palm Beach, I find this level of customer service unacceptable. I recommend choosing another rental company that values its customers and ensures proper quality inspections.

My tables and chairs were not delivered as promised, which was two days before the event and the company was completely unreachable no calls returned, no emergency contact, and no response on social media. With no updates and my event at risk, I was forced to hire another company and pay in full. South Party Rental finally showed up at noon on the day of the event, which was two days after the scheduled delivery and after I had already secured replacements. This is a clear breach of contract and highly unprofessional. I do not recommend this company. I am currently waiting for a refund!

On the day of set up, the crew asked us did we had lights to put under the tent and I replied no, he said don't worry I have some in the truck. The crew was wonderful. I will be using them again.
