    Sittoo's Combo
    Zach G.

Right off the bat, the food was delicious, customer service was great, and very quaint. Now into the thick of it. I got the Sittoo's combo and spicy cauliflower. The cauliflower was definitely my favorite thing I tried today. The kafta kabob was flavorful and juicy, the falafel was nice and warm with delicious spices, the shawarma was a little dry but had good flavor, the rice was unfortunately cold but the cinnamon dusting was a nice addition, the pita was also a little cold but tasted good. There is just a menu board when you walk in, no table service which I'm used to at their sister company, Aladdin's. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think my only complaint is that there are three 4 person tables and three 2 person tables making it hard to find seating during lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would have been nice if they could have gotten a bigger spot, but they have a takeout shelf is that works better for you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All in all, I'll definitely be back for their business lunch special which is only $8.

I don't have a ton of experience with this kind of food, but had been anticipating the opening of this restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is small-ish inside, but it's big enough.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My chicken shwarma was pretty good and I enjoyed my first go-round with falafel. The baklava is yum as well. Everyone we were with enjoyed the different foods they got too. Will definitely be back.

    Business Lunch special!

Just an update to include a photo this time. I got the "business" lunch special, despite not being on business, lol. This also was good and provides a broader range of food. Chicken swarma and lamb! The rice was well cooked and it again came out in timely fashion. I love how the food satisfies you, but doesn't weigh you down and make you feel tired/bloated. I'm starting to really like this place. Come out and support it, I don't want it to leave y'all!

Terrible food. The first experience here was outstanding. The second was awful & today the third is awful. The lady at the counter is kind and sweet, but forgot pita with the lunch combo the last 2 times. She got a tip, but never asked if the food was ok. Chicken was burnt & very dry - inedible as was the lamb. The beef was ok - kind of dry. The rice should be hot & it's cold. :( they have such good potential because the first time in the food was amazing. I will say this will be my last.

The name of the restaurant they've been open for two weeks right next to noodles and Company.

Best Lebanese food I've ever had. Even better than my Situ's. Very kind and attentive staff as well.

Not the best place for Lebanese food in the area I had the lamb salad. The ground lang was tough, overcooked and the salad was so so.

I found this place by chance as I was looking a healthy option for lunch. I parked in the rear of the building and walked inside. I was greeted by the owner, a friendly lady who was very helpful in making suggestions as to the items on the menu (e.g., spinach pie, meat pie, hummus, baba gannouj). Seating is limited to a few tables however the store has ample space with a variety of imported products such as olive oil, cheese, beans, seasoning, and even bottles of soda! After viewing the menu posted on the wall behind the counter, I saw that red lentil soup was available and quickly made up my mind! The soup came out hot in a styrofoam cup and was a balanced savory cascade of flavor - not too thick while not watery. After finishing it not only was I satisfied, but more importantly I was spared the guilt of eating lousy. If you like Middle Eastern food and live in Akron, stop over to Sanabel Bakery and be amazed!

To echo the other reviewers, food was amazing but it really was pricey. I totally understand things are expensive and prices are going up but I was a little aghast when she gave me the total. Menu said it was $13.99 for the lentils and rice special but I was charged $14.99 and it was $2.50 for a small side of hot sauce! That and three spinach pies brought my total to $25. That's a bit outrageous for the amount of food received. That said, everything truly was delicious and the owner was friendly. At least now I know what to expect for next time!

The consistency alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the food itself? It's something special. Let me start with the hummus. I don't even know how to say this without sounding dramatic, but it's hands down the best hummus we've ever had. It's unbelievably smooth, rich, and somehow manages to go with everything. And yes...I'm going to say it...dip your fries in it. Trust me on that one. And order the large size hummus to take home with you. The rice deserves its own moment too. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of richness. I'm not sure if it's butter or oil or some magic in between, but whatever they're doing, it works. It's the kind of rice you keep eating even when you're full. We usually go for the chicken over rice, which comes with peppers and onions, and it's always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. This is not bland food. Everything has depth. We've also had the three-meat combo (lamb, chicken, and beef), and every single piece is tender and cooked just right. It all comes together with that incredible red sauce and the garlic sauce...which I always order extra because I refuse to run out halfway through the meal. Add in the pita for the hummus, and it's just one of those meals you look forward to the entire drive home. And speaking of the drive...we will happily go 35-40 minutes out of our way just to pick this up. That should tell you everything. On top of all that, it's a family-owned place, and you can feel it. Customer service is warm and thoughtful. You'll often see the husband and wife there, sometimes their kids, and I believe his mother is in the kitchen and honestly, it shows. There's something about the food that feels cared for, not just made. We've tried a few different things on the menu and everything has been great, but the dishes I mentioned are what keep calling us back. Highly, highly recommend!!
