During discussions with an on-site caretaker, we learned Native Landscaping designs and installs complete landscapes, including installing trees atop New York City buildings! One unique service offered by Native Landscaping is their selfless accommodation of A.T. backpackers. We were offered pure water from two taps, power outlets to charge a cell phone, and the ability to camp on-site. Native Landscaping also accepts mail drops for backpackers needing a convenient resupply. The A.T runs directly in front of the business along the highway. The pros: HUUUUUUGE selection of succulents, slightly pricey but REALLY good quality and absolutely gorgeous. Also, really nice flowers and flower arrangements. The cons: I'm not sure if it was a bad day, but NO reason to be so RUDE to your clients (the cashier ESPECIALLY). First of all, there are barely any prices in the flowers, flower arrangements, plants. If there were more prices near the plants then we wouldn't have to "annoy" the employees and "bother" them by asking them prices of different plants. Came here with the idea of "supporting" local business instead of going to Home Depot or any other chain. I finally picked out like 4 plants which for sure were worth $50. One of the ladies that worked there rudely told me that "those aren't for sale" as she pointed to an almost invisible sign that said "not for sale". Meanwhile there were plenty of the plants available (duplicates of the same). The super nice lady that works in the greenhouse area propagating nicely said that there's no problem, we can sell those. Because there were more of those available. The initial rude lady ran to the other lady in the cashier to "tell on us". By the time we got to the cashier ALL excited with our new purchases she immediately says "they didn't tell you these aren't for sale??" And I said that one of the nice ladies said it was ok. Before I could even finish my sentence here she was snatching the 2 pots away from me. Basically forbid me from buying the plants because it took her "so long to grow" instead of kindly providing me an alternative she hid the plants away as if I was ready to steal them.... I was ready to just leave my purchases behind but I decided to buy one plant...to still try to support. I've NEVER seen anything like this. Not only did she miss out on a purchase DURING a crisis but she lost 2 customers and unfortunately I will NEVER recommend ANY of my friends here. Maybe the egg shop is a different experience but this to me was just not only humiliating but unnecessary and RUDE. #SupportOnlyNiceLocalBusinesses

Hello, I had a 40' x 14' foot concrete patio replaced with…read moreCambridge pavers. The patio is along the back of my house and there are 2 doors going into the house from the patio, one slider and one hinged door. The new patio looks good enough but the whole thing is too high relative to the house, the top of the pavers are the same height as the top of the door saddle. I can not install a storm door because it will hit a floor mat. I had asked Manuel to make the patio about an inch below the door saddles during the estimate and again before the pavers were installed, he agreed but didn't do it. It's discouraging, the patio looks nice but it's the wrong height. Now I face the dilemma of living with it or having another contractor rip it out and install it at the right height.

IM LANDSCAPING & MASONRY TO THE RESCUE!!…read more Since the pandemic, our patio was in desperate need of a refresh; take out the weeds, clean the bluestones and put poly sand in the joints. After getting several estimates, we called IM Landscaping and spoke to Freddy. He was able to come to our home and give us an estimate to do the work, which was fair and reasonable. Freddy and his team arrived early the next morning. I loved the fact that they were very thorough in removing the weeds, digging deep to get the root balls out. After that, they power washed the entire patio, even behind the condenser. Everything was so fresh and clean!! Due to the rain forecast, Freddy thought it best to make sure the stones were thoroughly dry before he installed the sand. He returned the following week and completed the work. Several neighbors immediately commented on how nice our patio looks. We're sorry that we didn't take before and after pictures to post. Do not hesitate to give IM Landscaping & Masonry a call.
