We visited with three kids ages 10-13 years oldon a weekday at the end of summer and the crowds were moderate. We opted to rent a cabana and get the fast pass (basic version). The fast pass was likely worth it, although it only worked for some rides. The cabana was nice for the shade and having a home base, but it was kind of expensive for what you got. The lounge chairs with umbrella are probably a better value. The negatives that affected my rating follow. Some of the rides weren't open with no explanation. There was a shortage of tubes for the lazy river. About 10 minutes to closing, we were abruptly told the ride we were in line for was closed, after we'd been waiting awhile, with no explanation. And of course there was no time to get to another ride at that point. Food and drink lines were long and service painfully slow - I must have waited in line for 2 hours that day, which of course cut into ride time plus it's unpleasant in the heat. Maybe I missed them, but I never found a bottle filler or water fountain anywhere, making it necessary to wait in the super long lines to get our water bottles filled. And the food and drinks were pricey and meh, as expected in a theme park. We had fun overall but there's definitely room for operations to be improved at this water park. read more

We took my niece to White Water on July 6th, 2025, to celebrate her birthday and enjoy a refreshing summer day. We arrived early on Sunday morning, excited and ready to beat the crowds--but to our surprise, the park was already quite busy! Since it was our first time there, we decided to take a spontaneous approach--whatever attraction we saw first, we'd go for it. Our motto was "the earlier you ride, the more fun you get," before the lines got too long. After finding a shaded area to leave our towels and belongings, we headed straight for the rides. We tried Black River Falls (a thrilling double-tube ride), Typhoon Twister (perfect for families and lots of fun), Atlanta Ocean Wave Pool (a great place to feel the waves), Little Hooch Lazy River (ideal for relaxing and soaking in the sun), Wahoo Racer (my personal favorite--fast, exciting, and a bit mysterious), and Gulf Coast Screamer (a solid solo ride). There were also splash zones for kids to fully enjoy the water fun. Now, a few small suggestions from my experience: At the end of the more intense rides, it would be great to have a lifeguard or staff member help guests out of the water. Some landings are quite sudden, and it's easy to get water in your nose or feel disoriented. In my case, I even strained a muscle getting out too quickly from a fast-moving tube. A bit of assistance at the end would definitely enhance the safety and experience. Also, for the Lazy River, there didn't seem to be a designated staff member managing the entrance or handing out tubes, and the number of tubes was limited. This caused a bit of a wait--even just to float around. Without enough tubes and no help getting on them, it didn't really feel like a "lazy" river; more like people walking through a stream. A bit more organization here would really help. On the food side: the smoked turkey leg was amazing--juicy, flavorful, and with that great meaty texture you can only get at a theme park. Definitely a must-try! However, pairing it with just chips (with salads sold out) was a bit disappointing. I hope the park can offer more diverse and better food options to match the premium pricing. Lastly, a common theme park issue: some of the most popular rides had us waiting over an hour in the hot sun, only to get a one-minute ride--so there were a few attractions we had to skip. That's to be expected, but it would be great if there were better shade or cooling systems in the queue areas. Overall, it was a fun day, a great way to cool off, and a nice escape from the summer heat. Just make sure to wear plenty of sunscreen--the sun was absolutely intense! Some days this park is amazing. Other days I check my expectations at the parking lot. The park itself is older and could use some refurbishments in some areas. Hopefully the new Six Flags and Cedar Fair merger will bring those improvements. It's unfortunate they haven't done much to utilize the space of the old amusement park that was next door. A water coaster would be a really great addition to this park. From tube slides to body slides, there's something for every water lover. Do know that not everything will be open early in the season. By the end of June/beginning of July all the rides and food stands usually open and are fully staffed. I've taken my younger nieces (ages 3-16) with me and they all found things to keep them entertained. There are three separate kids play areas, including a new area with kid sized slides. read more

According to my app, I should have one "bring a friend free" ticket for each of my FIVE season passes. The first time we used our passes this season we bought my 2 nieces and nephew with us. Upon getting our passes scanned at the gate, I was told our coupons don't kick in until they have been used 4 times. I pulled up the details of the coupon on the app and it does not say anywhere that there is a minimum number of times the pass has to be used before the coupon can. The girl at the gate said "this is a common issue and I'll have to take it up with corporate" so I had to pay $120 on tickets at the gate to get them in. I filed a request for contact through the website and waited 30+ minutes two separate times for a person on live chat with no luck. I called the park the next day and (after leaving 2 voicemails) was told by management the same story. I asked if she can show me where in the policy it says this and all she could say was "it's on the website" but could not specifically tell me where. If you can show me specifically where it says this, then fine, but she couldn't even direct me to the location of this policy. Why does the app AND the website show I have a coupon available under my benefits if it "cant be used yet" but I've spoken with multiple other people with season passes who said they used theirs on the first or second visits with no problem. She gave me the corporate number on which I left a voicemail but didn't get a call back. I called again the next day three separate times and left two additional voicemails because even after you opt in to wait for a live representative, after 13 minutes holding the system sends you to their voicemail anyways. I have yet to speak to anyone in corporate and have not gotten a response to any of my multiple requests for a call back. read more

I literally feel it is my duty to write this review... to try to notify others to not waste their money! What a horrible experience! Let's start with just trying to get in. The line backs up onto the road both directions. It is slow as Christmas! And they can do zero to make it go faster... it is a cluster from the get go! In typical 6 flag fashion once you get in and you have managed to find parking you walk up front and are greeted by signs that say... and I am paraphrasing here... "there is a bunch of stuff closed up because we suck! So there will be many things you came to ride but won't be able too!" Dead serious... this is a broke A** water park! We are Diamond members of six flags and this is included with our membership... but as mad as I was I can't imagine it would compare to packing up my family buying tickets and driving out here to find this out! We waited in line forever just to get in... again in typical 6 flags fashion their line system is not capable of handling this amount of people... so you are doomed to wait! Thank God we were not in the will call line... it was horrendously long! What a joke!! It is a horrible set up. We got through the line and went to member services like we were told to find where our reserved seating was. Once there we were redirected to another place to get our info and another line! The place was packed. We finally got our info and headed to our reserved seating... as we walked we noticed the lazy river was closed... ducks were swimming on it. The place was dirty, way over crowded, places to get drinks were closed, limited eateries were open, and all of them had huge lines! We made it to our destination but when we got there they had no record of us at all. My wife showed them the confirmation and they just didn't know what to do. Mind you all of this was taking place in full Sun and full on heat! They finally gave us our lounges, but really didn't know what to do, the seats were in the full Sun, and we began to prepare for our time in the wave pool. It was crazy packed! You couldn't move in the pool... there were only two life guards in the deeper section when there were spots for 6 and all they did was constantly blow on their whistles! The water was cloudy... dirty and seriously I was having a major anxiety attack just being in this mad house with my kids! After being in the park for only about an hour, having driven for 30 mins to get here, after waiting in line after line... we had had enough. We left the cesspool, gathered our stuff, and left this horrible experience of a park before it could get worse! On the way out my youngest wanted dippin dots. We stood in line... my God everything had a line, but when we stepped into this one it didn't seem that bad.. just 4 groups of people in front of us. Remember this all takes place on concrete in the full sun and heat. It took almost 40 mins to get dippin dots! In the full sun and heat while a sloth of a guy in an air conditioned hut scooped dots into cup at the pace of Halley's Commit. In general there is a prevailing attitude from the employees here... they hate their jobs, they hate being here, they hate everything and don't care one bit about the customers at all. They just want to get through the day and hate the thought that tomorrow will just be another day just like this one! It just seeps out of every pore.... I'm giving this a solid 3 and it's a good solid three. I'm from PA so this park is smaller than what I am used to and its a full water park. No dry rides, no rollercoasters, no shows, anything like that. But its fun! Perfect for a hot day! Most of the rides are body slides or tube rides, so keep that in mind. The good thing is most of the rides are 48" height minimum which is great for kids, so you can ride the ride with your kids. The lines weren't super long. Lifeguards are on point! There are tons of them all over the park and they are paying attention. They have a lazy river but there were plenty of people literally walking through the river without a tube, no big deal, just never seen that before. Great place for families read more

I've been coming to White Water since I was a pre-teen almost 30 years ago, and decided to check it again with my son for Labor Day this year. We were both excited to spend the day there and flash pass everything. Spent $30/person online plus the mandatory $20 parking fee, so $100 spent before arriving. We packed a cooler with food to save off eating the park food. When we arrived, parking lot was pretty empty, and thought it was going to be an easy day of riding. We get into the park to buy flash passes (thank God I didn't book them online) and saw only 3 rides available for it. Spending $55 - $105/person for a flash pass on 3 rides was just highway robbery, so decided to just roll the dice. We grabbed a locker for $16 and got ready to ride. Half the park was closed down. My favorite rides were all blocked off and closed down. The lazy river was drained. In fact, the only slides open were the Body Flumes (2/3 slides open), Twisted Tornado, Bahama Bobsled, Dragon's Tail, and 3 other rides (if you even want to count the 4 second long Orange Slide near the Lily Pads). They even had the kiddie lagoon area near the body flumes closed. By the time 1PM rolled around, everyone was either in the Wave Pool or at the other slides waiting in lines. It was ridiculous. It's not very often I give a 1 star review, and especially not for a place I had great memories of. I had already prepared to shell out $300+ for 2 people as well and had hoped to update my review to a better rating. While I understand the park is short-staffed (as all places are right now), it just boggles my mind that you'd still charge the same price for parking and tickets with more than half your park fully closed. Not only that, but keeping your flash prices the same with limited people there. And no email to us the day of to let us know of ride closures? What has happened to my childhood entertainment? I've been coming to Six Flags & White Water for YEARS! With that said, I have a certain expectation of the park and typically know they cut corners, cut costs and are generally on some BS. However, this day was it for me! 60% of the rides were CLOSED. They had an entire section of the park blocked off with benches. Lazy River ~Closed! Dive Bomber ~Closed! Kids Splash Zone with bucket that splashes water ~Closed!... And that's just the main attractions I remember of the top as I'm writing this..... There were at least 4 other rides closed in the rear of the park also.... We waited 1hr and 40 minutes for 4 orders of Tenders and Fries. I felt bad for families who bought the Six Flags Water bottles and had to wait 2 hours for Refills?!? WTF Six Flags? FIX THIS! My brother had purchased the Meal Bands so my nephew and his friend could be fat asses and eat their hearts out and we couldn't even use it B/c all the LINES WERE LONG AF! Long as in at least 1.5hr... Funnel Cake, LONG, Pretzel, LONG, Pizza, LONG, Burger, LONG! EVERYTHING WAS LONG.....And the blame was Covid..... But the blame is clearly efficiency and staff who WORK! You will see what I mean when you visit. The staff are a JK! I overheard 1 family complaining about buying Flash passes when most the rides were closed! I'd be pissed. The Flash passes have increased to $150 a piece! Last, the park is a mess! Bathrooms are gross! How did we enter the park 30 minutes after opening and the bathrooms smell of funk and urine and trash already all over the floors. Litter all through out the park, and lines littered with trash..... I could go on, but I'm literally over it! SFOG is the same but it does operate a a tad better and has Fright Fest and Holiday in the park. I read a couple comments that mentioned visiting on Non Peak days to make the visit better, but I've done that for years and it doesn't help! They still randomly close 60% of the rides so your SOL even if you buy a flash pass... And these tactics ARE NOT Covid. SFOG and WW were pulling these same stunts in 2018 and 2019 randomly closing rides and operating the park at 50%. The company is broke! Do yourself a favor and call ahead and make sure certain rides are open because you will pay Full Price for 50%. read more

Yesterday, I went to White Waters with my family. I viewed various comments prier to my arrival and I had low expectations. 'Security is on deck at this location.' No pun intended, there are lifeguards on duty to keep everyone safe. But there aren't many healthy food and drink options, and the cuisine is rather mediocre. Fried food is not to everyone's taste and sport drinks will give you cavities, but that's a conversation for another day. I also think it would be wonderful if administrators established a multifaith venue for reflection and prayer. I am aware of comparable commendations in Canadian theme parks. Additionally, add a feature to the current app or develop a new one so that parents can track their kids. Although it's convenient to order fried food, I believe it's more crucial to safeguard children in public spaces.  Overall, it wasn't terrible; it was just ok. read more

The line for Cabanas and loungers are understaffed and slow. The people helping each customer with little to no slow supply. Misallocation of resources to the max. Horrible horrible horrible experience. You'd think they know it was summer and could have less than 3 people support each customer and support more. What a travesty. Be prepared to spend an hour in line even if you are like the 6th person. This could be the profit center but it is soooooooo mismanaged. I am still in line and watching at least 20 minutes for each paying customer and the people you see are lines behind me. Good thing I have other adults so the kids can have fun. OMG. Sad to see low stars. I had a BLAST. The kid and I have memberships to six flags so of course we hit up white waters. Now, I'm not a great swimmer and I really don't do water slides. Buttttttt, I really had fun. A lot of the rides were closed, but the things they had open was big water fun. The wave pool is a major hit, the pirate cove was fun, the kid enjoyed the water obstacle course, and we did 2 water slides. We were there 7 hours. Whew. The food is low quality and ultra expensive. I saw some families had there own snacks and drinks. I wasn't aware you could bring that into the park, but then again, they really didn't check any bags. So next time .... I went on Memorial Day & it got the job done. The lines to get in didn't take long, but the wait for refreshments & park rides were very long. It took us 1 1/2 hrs. to get food. I overheard a fight broke out at one of the food stations over chicken nuggets. We waited 45 mins for the Tornado ride & only made it to the #2 lane of the #5 - #6 lanes & gave up. It looked fun, but I couldn't wait for over 2 hrs for a ride. I heard a fight broke out there too. They need to work on opening more rides & refreshment stations to shorten the wait time. Decided to visit White Water with my family on a Sunday. My fiancée and I both have Six Flags Passes, which grant us access into White Water as well. This deal also includes entrance for 1 guest per pass for $20 as opposed to $50. For this review, I'm going to focus more on what I liked (Good) vs. what I didn't like (Bad). Bad: * Lack of Signage - While in the parking lot, it was hard to determine where the entrance was. There needs to be more signage in the parking lot. More signs in the park as well. It was very hard to find lockers. The lockers we did find were all full. We had to track down an attendant to show us an entirely different area with more lockers. * Way Too Many People - I get that this is not the parks fault. I'm sure they appreciate a crowded day, but Damn! We were in line for the Typhoon Twister for at least a hour and the ride lasted all of 45 seconds. A fun 45 seconds, but you still feel cheated when you get off. That's it? Even on the lazy river, you couldn't relax for little Timmy acting like he's Michael Phelps splashing everybody. Constantly bumped into people. Just a soup full of ignorance in there. And the wave pool was no better. I eventually got out, because it was too many people for me, acting as uncivilized as possible. Even the food lines were long. My sis wanted a Granny's funnel cake, but the line wasn't worth it. I wasn't hungry since I had eaten before, but the food did look good. However, every single food line had a line just as long as the rides themselves. And of course, the food was all pretty expensive. EAT BEFORE! When parking, I saw several families eating in their cars. * Lockers - Unless you have a HUGE family that can watch your belongings while you ride, don't bring much. They do offer lockers for around $13-$20, depending on the size. Unfortunately, we all had towels, phones, and car keys, so we were slightly forced to get one. I'd recommend leaving towels in the car. Realistically, YOU'RE AT A WATER PARK. You're going to be wet all day. You don't need to dry off until you get to the car.........where your towels should be. Thank me later. * Customer Service - The service here was really bad, from the time we walked in until we left. First on our list of rudeness was a guy named BJ, who worked in the front at the ticket booth. It wasn't that he was completely rude, but he was definitely rushing us. Constantly repeating the price over and over in a monotoned voice, while my sister was getting her money. Other workers weren't attentive whatsoever. We definitely needed help with locker rentals, as it was confusing at first once we finally found them. There were two attendants standing directly next to the locker machines, but instead of assisting customers, they wanted to catch up on this week's gossip, laughing and cackling like they're at brunch sipping mimosas. I also saw a horrible lifeguard while waiting in line for Typhoon Twister. At the end of the ride after the drop, people would be sucked back in closer to the slide exit, which is dangerous for those in the water and those approaching full speed. Instead of helping to pull people out, he just watched while people got themselves out. It's almost like he was allergic to water the way he avoided getting into the water to help. * Rental Tubes - Tubes are available to rent for $8 each. These tubes can be used on the lazy river and the wave pool. If you feel the urge to get a tube, save those two attractions for last, unless you have a family member or friend to watch it for you on other rides. The tube rental attendants will NOT hold tubes for you. The attendant, Emily, told us she couldn't take them back, because if people saw them, they'd want them. Well, why not tell them that they belong to a customer who is currently on an attraction?! If you leave them on the side or "hide them", you risk someone taking them. Good: Skull Island - Even though they don't let adults ride the slide, this is a really cool area, especially for kids. If I was a kid, I'd probably spend the majority of my time here. I got more soaked here than anywhere else. The water is freezing cold, too. Overall, I know this review was supposed to be Good and Bad, but after writing, I realized there was really nothing good about the park at least not on this visit. Typhoon Twister was fun, but we were BLOWN with how short it was, especially after waiting nearly an hour. We arrived around 2pm and only got to do the lazy river, wave pool, Typhoon Twister, and Skull Island for 10 minutes. I'll probably come back on a weekday, since we have free access this year, but they have to step their game up. I'd be PISSED if I actually paid money to come here. The tubes and locker rentals were enough. DON'T come here on a weekend, especially Sunday, unless you get there EARLY. read more

Such a massive ripoff. I attended the park today with the $30 attendance cost, not knowing that pretty much the entire park is closed. There were literally only 2 water slides open of the normal 15+. What a ripoff! Absolutely no indication on the website or anything when buying tickets. The lazy river and pretty much every water slide is closed. So basically you pay $15 for each mediocre slice. All of the fun ones are closed. The place is also filthy in general. In addition, pretty much every concession stand is closed. I saw a total of 2 throughout the entire park that were in operation. If you're going to continue to sell tickets at full price and SCAM customers, there needs to be some sort of indication on the website that having fun will not be possible. read more

We came on a Wednesday during the Summer. First in the park, and rode everything within two hours. There were a lot of rides under maintenance. Including the lazy river. Pro tip: wear water socks. The locker is $15. I also think they only take debit credit cards in this park. Try the fried dough is really good!, but pricey. We paid $15.99 We came back Saturday. Got in 11:30, parking lot was already half full. Long lines for everything. When the park is full the lines go very slow. Which leads me to my complaint. The kids running the slides do not check flash pass. There were numerous kids getting out of line and going to the flash pass lane. Instead of the lifeguard using one slide for flash pass he used both slides The same kids would do it over and over again. Also, two people in line in the front 10 people from their group cuts line to move in with them. I said something to the life guard he ignored me. The lazy river was open. May as well be a lazy urinal. It was full of people and kind of gross. 2 burgers a chicken tender platter and 3 drinks. $65 and not good. Cliff Notes: Go during the week. BUYER BEWARE!!! TOTAL RIP-OFF. NEVER AGAIN. Arrived at 11am. Six attractions CLOSED including the Lazy River. Nothing on website about closures. Paid full price and got ripped off. Those that were open were thinly staffed with only one loading station open and the staff moving at a snail's pace. At 11:30 when park was not crowded, waited 60 minutes in line for Bahama Bob and after that 50 minutes in line for Tornado. By 1:00 the lines were obscene for all of the few open attractions. As grandparents, we used to have annual passes but we stopped 5 years ago for the same reasons. Decided to try again since my grandson really wanted to go. Went to guest services, but nobody in management was available to talk to. They said if I wanted to complete a complaint form someone from the corporate office would be back in touch with me. Ha ha I'm not that stupid. Management already knows full well about these problems and completing a complaint form is not going to fix anything. Bottom line. Horrible terrible guest experience. Why would I ever want to come back again? Only if I want to be defrauded out of over $200 and then cheated out of a fun time. Lesson learned. There are other places like the Atlanta Zoo, Georgia Aquarium, Stone Mountain, Tellus Museum and even Stars N Strikes that are not rip offs and provide a great guest experience and are fun for both kids and adults read more

Initially, I had no opinion about this park one way or another until the restroom incident. There were no soap to was my hands in the ladies bathroom. I spoke with 4 park staff members of which one checked the bathroom and responded by telling me there is no soap in the whole park. This alarmed me to the point that I filed a formal written complaint at guest services. No one seemed to care even when I mentioned it was a health violation and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for covid-19. In addition, the two sanitizer stations that I found were empty. It is evident that the health and safety of its patrons is NOT their concern....SO I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PARK, NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THIS PARK TO ANYONE. I recently hosted my six year old's birthday party here and boy was that a mistake. She wanted to go to the beach for her birthday but her school schedule wouldn't allow it so we settled for a waterpark. There was a total of eight people that attended and so I splurged for the cabana and added on a birthday package. This with taxes was $525.00 ($250 for 5 ppl bday tix package and $275 for standard cabana). I bought the cabana one week in advance of the birthday, it includes 2 lounge chairs and four cheap plastic chairs. The standard cabana was not near the pool and is in fact under a bunch of pine trees. They didn't bother to remove the fallen pine cones from inside the cabana and the bees and flies were out of control. The people at the cabana booth hand you a lock and key for a wooden box on the ground which they call a personal locker. The location of the cabana is lacking signage and is difficult to locate without a map. The staff doesn't help. I really love our teenagers but they are the only ones running the show at this waterpark. There's no accountability here. We arrived as soon as the park opened at 11:00 AM and there was already a line to enter the gates. Thankfully we bought out tickets in advance and I had them on my phone so we moved thru quickly. I couldn't understand why the place looked so outdated and rough. They were blasting country music and Lizzo....not a great first impression. The wave pool is a nice feature. The lazy river was out of commission. The water slide lines were far too long. The Caribbean cove for the kiddos was a nice touch but gets a bit crowded. They don't allow outside food or drinks. We thought that a server was coming to the cabana b/c that's what we were told and then found out 2 hrs later that they don't help those in a "standard cabana." So we ventured out to find food in 95 degree sweltering weather. The pizza place was completely out of pepperonis. One pizza was $55 and they only had cheese pizza. Frozen prepackaged pizza is better than the crap they made. It was so inedible that six year old kids couldn't finish one slice. HOW DREADFUL! I went on to the kicking chicken place and it was highly disappointing. I opted for the teriyaki wings and fries combo. The wings were extremely salty and I love sodium. The fries were ok but also a bit on the salty side. The only thing I enjoyed was the Sprite. I don't ever have or need to visit this bootleg, rip off, unpleasent park again. Six Flags needs to clean this place up and manage what's left of this place. It's the wild, Wild West out there. read more

Half the rides were closed. There was absolutely zero enforcement of any rules. People cut in line, took the flash pass line without having the flash pass, sit in the diamond seating area without paying. Nobody cares. Had the same kids cut in front of us on a slide 3 times before we got to the top, tried to get one of the operators to do something about it and got a shrug. Basically left me with the option of physically restraining some random kid or just putting up with it. So for entitled jerks who think the rules apply to everybody but them it's probably great. Otherwise save your money and find literally any other water park. Only gave them two stars because the food was surprisingly decent for water park fare. read more

Went yesterday and half of the slides were closed. Even the ones that had 2 or 3 slides per attraction only were running of the slides. Wasn't as crowded as I expected being a Friday, but still long lines due to half the slides being closed. Wish they had posted that before tickets were bought and we would have done something else. Even the lazy river had very few tubes so if you wanted to get it, you had to walk or swim around it. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else! read more

First time coming and Just witnessed lifeguard in wave pool pull a little out of water. Lifeguards are doing a great job and very attentive at every attraction. read more

We came with a large party to celebrate my son's 6th birthday. We arrived shortly after opening, and it has basically been a nightmare ever since. None of the rides are open, aside from the lazy river & the wave pool- NO water slides. We paid $350 for a cabana, which is supposed to include waiter service so you can "skip the food lines." Unfortunately, there's only one waiter for ALL of the cabanas, so it took an hour and forty minutes for even a PART of our order to arrive. (The rest still isn't here.) The lines are huge & poorly managed, and nothing about this experience has been enjoyable or celebratory. It CERTAINLY isn't worth the $1200+ we've spent. Highly disappointing for a company with a name that's supposed to be synonymous with fun. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more
