Stopped in for dinner and it did not disappoint! Started with the garlic knots and the dip sampler. All of the dips paired well with the knots. However, I was not a fan of the cheese dip. Then expect another 30-40 min wait for food. They do take reservations, so recommend you get one unless you want to wander around town a bit. Both were 5/5 and flavor profiles I've never encountered anywhere else. If you like dill as a flavor, the big dill will be a big winner. It wasn't overly dill-y and was just right. The hot honey definitely got spicy but again the flavor combination was really interesting. I ordered two smalls and I ended up eating about 5 slices, so one small is likely enough for someone. The crust was just normal crust, nothing to write home about. The margarita was a 1/5. Don't get it. It took forever to come out and it was weirdly foamy and overly tart. Then one of our pizzas was completely forgotten. It took another 15 min to come out after all the other pizzas when our server realized the kitchen forgot it. There is something for everyone at this place! Three kinds of crust plus a cauliflower option. My favorite is the traditional crust. The Sicilian crust was tasty like focaccia bread but still a little thick for me. Wayne our server was the best. I was in a group of 10 and he handled us with no problem. But get this when our pizzas arrived my pizza was burnt and I am still giving the place 5 stars. Why? Because they owned the mistake before I even said anything. We arrived for our first visit to Six Hundred Downtown at about 5:20 pm on Saturday and we're asked if we had a reservation. Well no we did not, we didn't know that would be necessary this early! All they had available were seats at the bar which sits five I believe, so we took them. The bartender served as our waiter and did an excellent job! Everything flowed very smoothly from sitting down to finishing. We ordered a 12" Americana pizza. It arrived in good time and was delicious! I think everyone has an opinion of what the perfect pizza should be and this ranks in out top percentage of good pizzas! We went Friday night, and there was a long wait. The wait was actually longer than it should have been because there were a bunch of open tables. We ended up sitting at one that had opened 20 minutes before we were offered to sit down. So, not good time management from the host station. As far as the food, the garlic knots were very good. The pepperoni rolls were not so good (see pic). The dipping sauces were decent. Both pizzas we ordered were pretty good. Prices were reasonable, but I suggest maybe a sampler platter for your appetizers. The amount of food we took home was ridiculous and the main reason for that was we live 40 minutes away and probably won't be back. The server was okay. There's lots of bricks and wood. It's best known for pizza. They rapid cook it so it comes out faster than usual. It has a good beverage menu. There's lots of cocktails and local beers on tap. I had a vodka with peach and pineapple juice. This is about $5, which is about what most of the cocktails are usually. I had the Farmhouse Salad to eat. This is about $8 for a large dinner salad. It overall is pretty good. Prices are okay for the quality. The service is kind of slow especially for a salad, but they were busy the last time. read more

It had a few small pieces of chicken. I asked to try their ranch and some sort of house made dressing they offer because I wasn't sure which dressing I wanted. The building is an updated very old shop. Tastefully done and comfortable. Nice. It's called 600 downtown because their oven temps are 600 degrees. Very cool! We started with garlic knots and asked for 2 dipping sauces, marinata and garlic. Wow, it it ever delish! Enough garlic to kill a vampire 50 miles away! Americana - I chose the classic Italian style for the crust, it's a soft, delicious, interesting crust. I'm glad I picked that one. Then pepperoni, mild Italian sausage, onions, green pepper and bacon. It was delicious & excellent! Nothing more needs to be said. It was worth the drive just for this pizza. Leonidas - same great interesting crust, spinach, artichoke, black and kalamata olives, red peppers and feta. My wife liked this one better. This is crazy talk I tell ya!
