Wonderful experience today! I Have been here several times in the past & was always pleased with the food & service, but today was exceptional! Jared was the only server and did an excellent job. It was lunch time and he was on top of it! There was even a group of 8-10 in the crowd. My friend & I both got pizza (mine was GF). Both of us agreed that it was among the best we have ever had. If you are GF, you know how hard it is to find a good pizza crust. She also got naked wings, extra crispy, and having shared with me, I agreed that they were the best! The service was excellent, he did not forget a thing, and made sure we were satisfied with our order. These days I find it hard sometimes to get good service & good food at the same time, but not so at La Pizzaeria. I will definitely return! read more

La Pizzeria, with a name like that, you better do pizza well. We ordered some takeout and it was quick and ready to go when we arrived. The place looked busy but not overly so. The pizza was good, but not memorable. The sauce was solid but lacked any kind of flavor that would really define it or set it apart. The crust was good, healthy amount of toppings, but all in all, it was just good... Not great. I was pretty disappointed to get the order of breadsticks home and discover there were only 3. At nearly $2 a breadstick I expected them to be "slap your mama" good... No mamas were slapped. Not a bad spot, and if someone ordered from there, I'm eating the pizza, but for my money, there's better pizza in the area. read more

We were in town for the weekend and ordered pizza on a busy Friday night. Due to some unfortunate error, my online order went through twice, and was cancelled twice, but I wasn't notified. I tried to call the restaurant, but no answer. I ended up driving in to find out the kitchen was closed, and they did not receive my order. The staff on hand was very polite and took care of us. They quickly made as much of the food I ordered as they could. They did a great job making up for the technology mistake. And the pizza was great! I'll definitely return for pizza again. 4 stars for not answering my phone calls. read more

This place was a train wreck the day I went there. After reading such good reviews we decided to try the place. 4 adults 1 child on a Wednesday. Had to ask for a server, twice. They brought out one persons meal at a time. Which is how everyone prefers to eat, right? Just watching one person eat, then the next person. It took two hours to have a meal. Doesn't look like much when you walk in but this place was a hidden treat to us. The food was delicious. I had the pizza sub that is served open face. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The Pizza was OK. Ordered extra sauce. Did not get it. Was very disappointed that the dining room closed at 4pm on Friday and Saturday. We arrived at 4:22pm. Nothing on Yelp or website about the closure. We drove to this location as we wanted a sit down meal. Could have just order or picked up average pizza much closer to where we were camping. Our first experience at LaPizzeria was pretty bad and it took us over a year to go back for a second try, which we did only because the parking lot is always full and we wanted to find out why. The food is still mediocre - seems like it came off the delivery truck, into a freezer, heated, and served - but doesn't taste bad. The restaurant itself is pretty cluttered and confusing, especially the entrance. The menu is large, too large, and there are a lot of menu items that need a description (e.g. Big John, garlic loaf, and pork wings?!). They do have bottled beer and wine by the glass. The true saving grace was our server. I believe she's the owner's daughter. I would go back just because of her... maybe... 4 stars rather than the 2 I previously rated for the service and because I now know not to have high expectations for food in the Indian Lake region. read more

Stopped in here on a Sunday eve with our family of 5. The hostess and especially our waitress bustled around and worked really hard the whole time, very attentive and thoughtful even while managing a bunch of tables. They get the 5 stars. We all had pizza, which was loaded with toppings and cheese and has a very thin crispy crust - which is exactly my preference. Everyone enjoyed it. read more

Yep. This place was great. We stopped in on a trip while in town this past weekend after church service. The owner came over and was super about everything. He even brought crayons and a colouring book for our little 3 year old while we waited for our food. I ordered the personal 9" pizza (Hawaiian) and it was really good. I was impressed with the style of pizza (thin crust) and it was plenty of food for me. Drinks come in cans (can of pepsi) so, be ready for that. Great eats, cool dive - we'll be back. Our grand parents live close (Indian Lake) and Grandpa says he's never ordered something he didn't think was really good - so even the locals think it's a great food option. Great spot. read more

I have been vacationing at Indian Lake for years and La Pizzeria is hands down my favorite pizza, and that is saying a lot considering there are several great pizza places there. Many of the other menu items are great as well, but the pizza is the best, and I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees or food. I like that the owner is there most of the time. A little side story, awhile back i went in and picked up a huge order, probably $70 and tried to pay with a credit card. I was told they didn't accept them (they do take credit cards now), but the owner said go ahead and take the food so it doesn't get cold, and come back later with cash or a check after you eat. You don't get that kind of trust or service from a chain. read more

My husband and I ventured here on a cold and rainy January Friday night. We aren't locals, but were in the area and wanting some pizza. We arrived around 8:30p and when we got out of the car, we could smell the pizza! It smelled great!! We ordered your standard 12" pepperoni pizza and were pleasantly surprised by how quick the service was. The pizza tasted fantastic, not overly greasy, and cooked perfect with a thin crust. To top it off, our bill was only $16 for the pizza and four sodas with tax?! We will definitely be back here the next time we're up this way! Im dying to try their pastas! read more

Stopped in for dine in with social distancing. It doesn't look like much on outside and ordinary on inside. But has awesome service and great food. Tried the pizza and it was done really well. Light crust not too thin and definitely not doughy with ample toppings and cheese. Couple people had shrimp baskets and those were also great. The angel hair pasta is also very good. We always try new places when we're out and about. This was highly rated, so we stopped in. It wasn't crowded at that time of day and it did smell wonderful. Everyone was very nice and it was quaint. Trust me when I tell you this. If you don't care what you eat and all pizzas are the same, you'll be ok. But there's a Cassano's not too far from there...in my opinion that would be your best pizza bet. There's a huge menu at La Pizzaria. I'm pretty much a believer in do a few things well. The chicken was not breaded and had no flavor. The pasta was on the plate with a bunch of water in what must've been the cheapest marinara sauce out there. We stopped here on the way to Mad River Mountain. It has a cozy diner vibe to it that we loved. We came on a Friday and it was pretty busy. You seat yourself so we were happy we still easily found a seat. Split a 14" cheese pizza between two people. It was pretty big so we were left with extras to take home. The pizza was AMAZING. Crust is not too thin and not too thick and they were very generous with the cheese. Overall I will definitely come back if I am in town. The employees were very nice. read more
