Had club sub very good. Beer was cold! Service was excellent Melanie did a great job. Great atmosphere plenty of tv to watch the game .

Management is incompetent. Very unprofessional and it's sad. The food is mediocre at best.

The sauce is good but the crust was too thin and crunchy. The toppings were on top of the cheese which was strange. Definitely not as good as Vicarios was. The waitress said the new owners kept the Vicarios name because they kept the sweet sauce. read more

Not a bad place... My wife and I went this weekend to pick up some pizza and subs to celebrate my birthday.... I thought the pizza was pretty good; my wife didn't like it.. We both were not impressed with the subs.. Good choices in the bar section. I tried an amazing local beer while I was waiting... The reason why I have to give this place a 2 is...upon ordering we were told that it would be about 30 min, almost an hour into waiting before, I asked one of the staff about our order ... second, when we got home most of or order was wrong... Just picked up 2 pizza and cheesy garlic bread. One pizza looked good the other was a thin crust pizza. We got 2 original crust pizza Called them backed and they offered me 20% off my 14.05 pizza. I'm very impressed with the new location! Service was good, food was amazing and affordable. The Mexican pizza was AWESOME! My boyfriend is a very picky eater and he loves the breadsticks. A plus too is that they deliver out to where we live and no one else does even though we only live 10 minutes from town. read more

New location looks great. The menu is has many different options, not just pizza place stuff. Still have all the pizza place options like subs etc but have many other things like burgers, fish and chicken. Would have given 5 stars but the service was a bit slow, nice and friendly but slow. I'm really not sure where to place this rating but after years of patronage, I'm just disappointed. So, I'm not sure what that star rating is, so we'll stick with 2. The last three times we've been there the food and service has been underwhelming. On a Saturday night we thought to give it another shot and dine in. Sure, the tables were full but it wasn't like people were coming in by the boatloads. We get seated. I get my water, he gets his soda and our guest gets his beer right away. It takes another 20 minutes to get our order taken. We get some appetizers, pizza, and another beer. We wait another 20 minutes just for the beer and when he walks up to the bar to ask for it we are told to wait because the server can't serve it, even though she did the first one. When, what I assume is the manager drops off the beer she does it with an attitude. We say thank you and she doesn't acknowledge. He had asked for orange juice with it and she roughly responded back they don't have any would you want and orange slice? Yes, please. She comes back drops it on the table and walks off. Again, no acknowledgment of the thank you. Now to the food, no appetizers early, things kinda trickled in over the course of 5 minutes about 45 minutes into our seating. The nachos had cold cheese on it and we asked for it to be warmed up and after 15 minutes it came back with brown chips, our guest opted not to even finish the food. The pizza and Philly was GFS grade. I'm not trying to down anything but just disappointed in how service and food has downgraded over the last year. Our waitress was trying to get into the groove so she was fine and I hope she sticks it out. The manager needs to learn how to maintain customer service under stressful situations. And I hope they can work on how to provide warm, fresh food to their customers. read more

Pizza is mediocre at best. The crust was very stiff and hard to bite into. Breadsticks are pretty good. They do not answer the phone very professional at all. I work on the edge of Logan County, technically its Union County but Im right on the line and they wouldn't deliver. Not even for an extra charge. Didn't even apologize for it. Just said "no". I was told 30 minutes on a carry out order. Got there my food was cold. asked them to remake it. They only had 6 tables when I got there. Waited on my remade food for 20 minutes. Had to ask about it. Got it and they gave me cauliflower not the fries I ordered. I asked for the money back on my fries and asked when the owner would be in. They didn't want to answer that. No surprise. Went here with the family for dinner this evening. Wish we hadn't. My fork was dirty. When I asked for a replacement he was finally able to give me the 3rd fork he picked out of the bin. We waited nearly an hour before receiving our meals. The chicken parmesan with spaghetti and the rigatoni with meatballs were both over-cooked and cold. The pasta sauce tasted burnt. The noodles were over-baked and hard. The "melted" cheese was like rubber. The pizza we ordered was black and crispy on the edges. When the waiter came by and asked how everything was, we answered honestly, that it was cold and not good. He replied "I'm sorry about that." Then he walked away. 5 minutes later he returned with our full-price bill, no mention of making things right, no I'm sorry let me get you my manager. They did end up taking 2 of our 3 dinners off the bill, but only after we refused to pay for meals we couldn't/hadn't eaten. So that's something I guess. Tiny place. Looks like an old drive-in diner (it's not, they won't serve you in your car). They have 3 different kinds of sauce: tangy, spicy, and sweet. I can't speak for the other 2 sauces, but the sweet sauce is awesome. I would go as far as to say that this is the best pizza you can get in a 50mile radius. As far as topping, stick with the basics (just cheese and pepperoni), the rest don't look to be as fresh or high-quality as the base pizza. And quite frankly, this pizza doesn't need to rely on toppings. read more

Once apon a time in 2017, i was hungry at 4 pm. I was deciding where to order from and i picked vicarios. I picked uo the phone and then ordered and they said it would be about an hour. (What a downside!) So i waited anxiously and an hour and 53 minutes has passed and it's still not there. I though to myself because i have ordered previously "well its vicarios they're known for taking a long time." And another hour passed by and i picked up the phone and called them to see where they were and i was told by an employee and i quote "we're really busy today". I said ok and hung up and waited another hour and another and another and then it was 9:00 pm. I called and i said "ok i ordered hours ago where is my order?" The employee said "i'm sorry we're closed and we have no record of your order." I was so heated i just went to McDonald's. There are good things about this place though like the drinks they carry like pepsi. read more

I absolutely adore Vicarios sweet sauce! It is oh so good. Their cheese is pretty tasty too. I agree with the other reviewer that simple is best: their crust is pretty unique and, in my opinion, not suitable for lots of toppings. Just a personal preference. This place is probably the 2nd best place for pizza in town. They typically have average to good customer service. The delivery drivers are super nice. If they do happen to make a mistake they believe that just replacing it is enough for inconvenience because "that's what the managers said" when yet your pizza was just slopped together hastily. read more

Let me begin by saying that when we moved here a little over three years ago, until we got the kitchen put together, we ordered every night for a month. And we order from them on a regular basis. I have even wanted to meet the owner. If he was to look at his records he will see how much business we have given to them. But NEVER again. I understand the heavy handed health regulations to operate, but I dont wear a mask. They do nothing. I walked in to pick up my carryout order, and I would have been gone in a minute. Instead the staff harrassed me. They are not law enforcement, and the Governors orders are not in law. That is why the police will not enforce such. Please remember when all of this removal of our freedoms is over, we will remember businesses such as this. If there is another shutdown to carryout only, I will no longer support you. Driving through town, saw good reviews and I tried them. Very affordable lunch specials. My only complaint, and this is hard to say, but my salad actually had too much cheese , a ton of chicken, and only a little lettuce. More lettuce in a salad would have made this place perfect. Absolute garbage! The entire facility is dirty, it is like they never clean. Tables are wobbly and once, my children and I were eating there and watching, in horror as the owner screamed at his employees who weren't doing anything wrong. None of the workers wear gloves when making food. Four times that I have tried to eat there recently, I have seen ants crawling on wall and their kitchen floor is usually covered in nasty food bits. The food was disgusting too. The sauces taste like they dumped a five ton bag of sugar in it, the crust is like cardboard, even the cheese tastes like complete crap. The employees constantly stand around and do nothing. I have never once seen them clean the dining room or the floors where they work. I'm glad I've stopped taking my children here. Once I see ants in a restaurant, I'm out. I'll just go to Padrone's instead. read more

Okay....this comment is killing me to write but my experience was bad enough that I need to vent and I hope someone from Vicario's reads this and makes the adjustment. First off let me say my issue has nothing to do with their food which in my opinion is amazing. I have never had bad food from this place. Many times I have ordered food over the phone since I live 20 minutes away and every time I give my order to this certain young man something gets screwed up. From being made to repeat my order way too many times to dealing with attitude, this time I got both. I was in Marysville visiting with family when I decide on the way home we would detour through Bellefontaine on our way home to Urbana so we can get Vicario's and to my dismay I get this kid that always craps up my order but hoping this time maybe I'll get lucky. I order a meatball sub and need to tell him THREE times I want a full order not half (important to remember that) as well I order a full order turkey sub and 12" cheese pizza for the kids. After picking it up and driving home I discover that they not only made me a half order meat ball sub but charged me for a full order. I call and explained my situation (guess who answered). after getting a confused response I was then asked if I wanted to speak to someone, I said yes and then proceeded to wait 8 min till the kid piked the phone back up and said "theirs really nothing we can do about it but if you can remember to tell us next time we can discount it. That's it not "sorry for the trouble" or any kind of remorse for the mess up just can't help you better luck next time. I have read many of your reviews and they are spot on, your food is amazing. I just wished your employees or at least this kid would understand his actions or lack of can sour even your most loyal customer.
