    Only rent from here if you are in a rush to be SCAMMED and HARASSED. There was some kind of pebble mark on my rental, looked partially there in my departure photo, but hard to see due to the angle of the light. In any case, they are trying to charge over $1k for this. Even though there were other scrapes plainly visible on the opposite side of the car before I rented it. Essentially, expect they are going to try to scam every customer out of the cost of a full repaint of the car even though they have no intention of repainting. Total scam. Be ready for a lopsided fight with no response from their claims department other than continuous invoices and threats. Many threads on Reddit and Yelp with the same claims. Furthermore, just like so many people, they did not have the actual Volkswagen that I reserved and paid for before I showed up and they stuck me in a mini cooper, which I did not want, but it was the only vehicle they had in the same class. Even worse the car display told me the whole time that the rear restraint/seatbelt system had "failed" and needed immediate service. Luckily I wasn't traveling with my family, but the annoying thing was you could not dismiss this warning. Truly horrible experience that keeps getting worse.

    Our experience with SIXT suggests potential improper retention of funds following bogus car rental damage reports and subsequent claim cancellations, which may indicate a broader pattern of consumer deception or a systemic issue within SIXT's claims process. As Virginia Surety covered this claim in January of 2024 (per our Chase Sapphire Reserve benefits), my concerns aren't about a refund for myself, but (1) whether Virginia Surety has been reimbursed for the January claim payment since the damage report was canceled by SIXT on April 16, and (2) whether SIXT is potentially committing widespread insurance fraud based on various other customer reviews that are similar to my negative experience. I have finally posted this public review because I emailed claimsmanagement-usa@sixt.com on April 16, April 19, July 19, and November 1--and have yet to receive a response.

    I rent from SIXT several times a month for work, this pickup today was my 4th this month and 2nd in the last 5 business days. I am not sure why they took away the mobile check-in but they should bring it back, so I don't have to deal with people like THE Martina or whatever her name is. She gave me the hardest time about my expired drivers license, though I had the renewal print out. At first she walked to different people asking their opinion. Then they started reading stuff online talking about it needs a picture, but my home state doesn't do that on temp licenses. Then kept saying I needed the full paper, BUT it visibly said "carry this portion" which is the portion I had. I also want to mention the part I cut off was legit blank, nothing was on it. So she called Justin, to get the okay because she wanted to make sure I didn't have an issue getting out of the gate. The gate that used a barcode not my drivers license! So what was that even about ????? A horrible way to treat a diamond member.

    The rental process was simple. Malcom, the wonderful man who helped us, greeted us with a smile and walked us through it quickly while explaining everything. He told us about the various types of insurance and made a recommendation based on our needs, surprisingly NOT the most expensive option. When we went to the car, Kosmo was great with helping us find the spot and checking us out. He was most impressive when we returned the vehicle and accidentally forgot a few items in the back seat. When we turned back to get our things, the car had been sent for cleaning. Kosmo chased the car and was able to get our items for us. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommended them to everyone!

    Ordered and paid for our car ahead. We got the larger BMW SUV, it's so much bigger than the X3. It's a good thing we don't have to wait in line too, the lines are lounge for other rental kiosks. The shortest line of all of the rentals. Budget is the longest line too. Nice interior, the exterior is pristine, not a dent at all. We were able to arrive and go straight to the key booth to pick up the car keys. Still have a desk for key pickup in the garage. The Sixt requires $1k deposit here, that's a lot. The rental was around $33/day when we first booked the reservation. :/ Remote controls to drop the rear seats back.

Apparently I paid to late because Alamo was impatient, put a dnr on me and failed to take it off. Fast forward to may 8th, I was supposed to pick up a rental in Atlanta and couldn't. Not for a lack of effort, I called Alamo to ask why I couldn't update their system with my driver's license before the trip, was told there was no problem and that it would be done at the counter. Such sloppy business practices. I have rented through them multiple times but already told the wife to slide them to the bottom, even if they have better prices. They need to do better!!

I figured, it's much bigger, so the lines will be crazier. However, there was only one person ahead of me once I arrived at Hertz (after the walk to the train to baggage claim and another train to the rental car area). I forget the name of the man who helped me but he was very nice and very helpful. You kind of do everything on the app as you get walked through it, and it couldn't have been easier or quicker. The Hertz website prices are jacked up, so we wound up booking through AutoEurope. Paid $554 for 6 nights of a rental that started in Atlanta and ended in New Orleans. Other places wanted at minimum $720, so this was a steal. Signed up for "Ford Escape or similar" and wound up getting a really nice 2024 Mazda CX-30 (with 30,000 miles on it) with comfortable seats and a big trunk for suitcases. Couldn't have been happier with Hertz at Hartsfield.

She then played on her computer and then kept answering personal calls and texting on her personal cell. SURREAL. Where is the manager? It took 45 MORE minutes to finally be given the right car. Drove to the area where they check you and the car out of the facility. Usually the employees are on their cell phones on personal calls, so it takes a long time to get through the lines. YESTERDAY took the cake, however. The light in one lane was green indicating there was an employee, but no one appeared to be in the booth. We slowly drove in as this was our only choice. The fool was HIDING on the floor on his cell phone. He got mad that we "bothered him"! Now they are PAID to HIDE from customers? He told us off good, he was mad as hell at us and LET US KNOW. If Hertz doesn't give a damn, we need to find a new rental car company. Hertz Atlanta Airport doesn't WANT anyone's business, obviously! WHO IS IN CHARGE of this place? Crazy!

    Ok, I normally would not go out of my way to write a review for a car rental agency but I have to…read moredo so because our experience was like no other. I've rented many cars for trips and work and stuff like that and at big airports and small airports. I've been ripped off in the past by car rental agencies that even went as far as going to court or I've waited in lines in the middle of the night with sick babies for hours and hours or ridden in the shadiest of car rental shuttles - so I would say I have some experience, and not the good kind. That was not my experience with Enterprise at the Atlanta airport. It was actually AMAZING. First off, before I even left for GA, the night before, enterprise emailed me and told me to check in online so I did still figuring that I'd wait in a forever line. When I landed and got my stuff, I went to the car rental area expecting shuttles. First off, in Atlanta, they don't have shuttles, then have an actual SkyTrain (monorail system) to the car rental area, which is so smart and eliminates sooooo much traffic congestion at such a huge airport. We took that and it took 5 minutes to get there. Once off the skytrain, we walked a few minutes to the garage. I kept expecting to see a desk with a line. There wasn't one. I literally walked up to a guy, showed him my email, and he said "Row 2". So I walked up to a row of cars and picked one. I was like, "What???" That's NEVER happened. The keys were already in the car, and as I drove out of the lot, they scanned me in and I was on my way. Took maybe 10 min tops. The drop off was even easier. The Atlanta airport has a specific area to drop off all rental cars, so we went there, found enterprise, and then pulled up, checked our car in, and then left the key and went and got on the Sky train. It was even easier on the way back. Again ten minutes tops. So this review is for the Atlanta airport as much as it is for enterprise rental car Atlanta. You guys have it down. For a process that has been a literal nightmare every other time I've gone through it so much so that I usually just add 1.5-4 more hours in my mind to my travel time, this was so smooth, easy, and efficient. I wish other airports would take notice and run theirs like Atlanta. Tip: always always always take pics of your rental car when you get it before you get out of the lot and after when you return it before you leave it. I've had a rental car agency totally scam me (went to court) and I didn't have pics and it was a totally awful experience. I got my money back but it wasn't easy and caused a lot of problems. So you better believe I have photos or every car in my phone and keep them there for months just in case so this doesn't happen!
