Person at the counter was friendly. There's a lot on the menu so had to ask for recommendations on what to order. He said the Alfredo pasta was the best seller but I didn't have a taste for that. I experienced eating food from Sizzlin Skillets today and I was so pleased after my meal! I had the chicken and shrimp salad, which was beautifully placed in the container. This salad was absolutely delicious! The grilled shrimp and chicken was very delicious! It came with a slice of good tasting bread! My wait time was about 10 minutes after I placed my order. The young lady at the front window on Wednesday July 19th was respectful. The salads were bountiful and full of flavor. The only downside is there is not enough dressing for the massive salad that you receive. The two small carry out cups of sauce/dressing were barely filled. Besides the shortage of condiments (which isn't a big deal to me) the food was spectacular. Well I have been living in the area for over three years now and I kept telling myself,"I need to try this place out". Well I did just that today and I was not happy or impressed at all. I ordered the Garlic Chicken Fettuccine. This dish lacks flavor all the way around the board. Pasta wasn't properly cooked. If you are going to cook pasta do it correctly. Salt and oil your water. It will help for just in case your sauce is lacking salt which it was and it will prevent your pasta from clumping. I didn't enjoy chewing on partially cooked pasta. That's another thing, how can you have both under and over cooked pasta in the same dish?!!! If you are going to advertise something as Garlic please make sure it is present in the dish. The extremely small cubes of chicken were so dry. The sauce was not creamy, it was watery. Last but not least look into how the food is packaged. Why would you put a crispy piece of garlic toast directly on top of hot wet food and place a closed not vented lid on the dish. When the customer receives their food, the toast will be nothing but a soggy limp piece of bread. Please do better. read more

There was melted cheese on top which did nothing for the dish. The shrimp was also over cooked and the chicken was mushy. The Caesar salad had rotini noodles in it, which was insane. It was romaine lettuce and tri color rotini noodles with shredded Parmesan cheese. This is not a proper Caesar salad and it was unappealing. Really good. The first time I had the 'fondue' pasta - way too much cheese; kinda got sickening after a while. But......the jambalaya is delicious and spicy, the seafood seems to be fresh and well cooked...... Recently I tried the grilled salmon plate ($15) - OMG, DELICIOUS. The creamed spinach was so good, and so were the garlic red potatoes. Those sides were so good that I don't really care what protein I pick with it next time.....although the salmon was well seasoned and not overcooked.
