Great brew house in the Beverly neighborhood. Ordered a flight and every beer delivered its unique flavors. The Rueben egg-rolls are worth a try and I highly recommend the double stack burger. We also had a flat iron steak which was done to the desired temperature and very flavorful. Ask them about house made old fashioned which age above the bar. Street parking is available in front of the restaurant. Staff is super nice and took fantastic care of my wife and I. Highly recommended

Checked out this brewery in Beverly. Horse Thief Hollow is a long time local favorite and is one of the best hangouts. It has not only great beer but great food too. For certain not a humongous menu but it's big enough. The prices are pretty okay for being locally owned. Best place around here for craft beers of course. It's got a kitchen so also eat. The beers are the main things though. Has a pretty okay amount. It's about $6 a pint. Best one we had of these was the Kitchen Sink, which is an American pale ale. Light enough to enjoy a few and not be tripping. Also they have a kitchen. The menu is mostly meaty but there's a few plant based options. It's about $9 for a cup of Beyond Kitchen Sink Chili. This of course uses the same beer in it, and it's plant based with Beyond protein. Everyone can find a beer or food here to their liking. It's got vegan chili which actually tastes like the real stuff. They're closed Tuesdays.

We were in the neighborhood and decided to check this place out. There's so much room in here! It gave me sports bar vibes without being cramped for space haha. The smash burger was incredible and their fries were really good too. We'd definitely come back!

Decent brewery in the Beverly area. I went during lunch. Quite surprised it wasn't busy. It was busy for Christy (think that's her name) because she was the only 1 bartending and taking care of the tables. If you are looking for beer and bourbon/ whiskey this is a go to. They don't look like they offer other spirits. Christy was very efficient and apologetic, but you could see she was busy. I had the gumbo and turkey burger. The "gumbo" just needed some rice and the roux was thicker than gumbo I'm used to but it was definitely the right spice level and flavor. I will order a bowl next time instead of a cup. I also had their turkey burger which I've had before but I haven't been in a while so I think they made changes to their menus. This burger was ok. It was missing the fried jalapenos but I didn't notice until I was almost finished with the burger. I definitely will go back and try 1 of their smash burgers.

Hey ya'll, I had opportunity to visit this brewery during my travels to Chi-town with my family. First thing have to mention our servers Tom and waitress was amazing! Super friendly vibe which will always make me come back for more. It's a brewery so started off with the flight and enjoyed the craft beer varieties. For meals we ordered the gumbo which was so delicious with good balance of southern flavors and spice. The wings were freshly made and not over sauced which I liked. Super crispy but juicy. We also order the burger with over easy egg was juicy cooked perfect medium. I was so full and nice portion for the price. Tom/server mentioned they offer brunch on Sunday so would like to come back to try the bbq ribs and lemon ricotta French toast next time I'm in town. Give it a try folks and support local! Also, their cheese/caramel pecan popcorn mix is delicious!

That Mac N' Cheese side with the pulled pork is as good as it gets.

Out of the gate Colleen was a 5-star server start to finish. Her enthusiasm was genuine and welcoming, so informative about beers / menu. With one dinner in town, landing halfway from DC to AZ, Horse Thief Hallow was our #1 choice. A choice we did not regret. Solid beers, began with the Soul Train (Sour). 5-stars again. Don't let the color fool you, it is a pucker sour as intended. Annexation and Squeeze box also delicious, in that order. Restaurant SUPER clean. Pulled pork lean, not too spicy, the Mac n' cheese is incredible, with panko crumbs under a broiler - perfectly crispy and served in cool miniature cast iron. Grass fed burger, wonderful. Half rack of baby backs, meat fell off the bone, prepared wonderfully. When returning to this area, Horse Thief Hallow Brewing will be my go-to, thank you guys & gals.

Parking available. Nice area. Good beers, fair service with standard food and small menu. Not good for vegetarians. Nothing to rave about.

We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. I didn't get her name, but she was personable and affable. My brother was familiar with her since he visits semi-regularly. My brother loves both the burgers and pizza. He claimed the pizza rivals Fox's pizza in Beverly, so naturally I had to check it out. The pizza is good, but it's no Fox's!! We ordered double pepperoni, which was perfectly thin and crispy. It was a little too greasy for me, but other than that, I have no complaints. I also had an amaretto stone sour, which was delicious. My brother had a drink as well, but I can't recall which one. He always orders it, though, so clearly the bartender prepares it to his liking. The bar has a welcoming neighborhood vibe. The bartender knew some people by name or face, but everyone was welcomed with open arms. The bill for was about $45, which is pretty standard nowadays. The pizza was very reasonable ($18), which was awesome. There are slot machines in the corner for all the eager gamblers. Next time I'll try the burgers!

I'm the only black person in the bar he made me feel very uncomfortable and I feel that this is racially motivated. He didn't treat the other people like this at all, he catered to them and was pleasant. I believe that something was wrong with my drink and I don't trust this place, I have never been to a bar and got this sick before and the bartender gets angry that I point out that something is wrong. I will go to the hospital if I feel any worse. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE The drink was $12, the kind of treatment is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! EDIT: immediately after posting my review I received a direct message , saying that im only here to get a free drink and they see people like me all of the time (hmmm I wonder what that means) When I was actually looking for a bar to frequent and have a good time. I actually told my server that I was there for several drinks tonight. However, after my interaction and the message I received I am now POSITIVE that the bartender is racist and had someone message me to attack me.

The lunch/dinner menu is a little less expansive than I had hoped, with fairly limited options.. that being said, I had the french onion soup which was pretty awesome, as well as chicken lettuce wraps which were decent - not my favorite, but seemed fresh and a good option for healthier eaters. I remember there was an intriguing 'small plates' menu that was being featured at the check in desk - some things such as an avocado crab toast caught my eye. However, I did not receive that menu when ordering in the bar area.. something to maybe ask about next time! Breakfast was about what you'd expect for a buffet (apparently there's a way you can get a coupon for free breakfast, but I didn't have one, so mine cost $14.95 without tip). Buffet options included scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, yogurts, fresh fruit. They also had an omelette station, which was a highlight for sure. TLDR - probably wouldn't return just to eat unless I was staying at the hotel, but also not a terrible option for anyone who's staying overnight/for a few nights and doesn't want to leave the hotel to eat.
