Right away we knew she was the right fit for us. She took the time to get to know us before we contracted, so both sides knew what they were getting into. We picked the Full Planning Package, and that allowed us to occasionally get distracted by buying a house and major job changes without worrying that we were losing track of our wedding checklist and timetable. We met frequently and every time I came away feeling more and more prepared for the day. She brought things up I wouldn't have even considered, she helped give advice but never pushed. On the day of the wedding I didn't have to think about anything but what was happening in the moment. A truly precious gift. Kristen and her assistant really went above and beyond. The day truly felt like us. Thank you Kristen for being a rock for us throughout everything!! If you aren't sure if a planner is in your budget, let me tell you that NOT having Kristen would have been a disaster and we couldn't afford to NOT have her brilliant mind and kind soul working for that one beautiful day. If they need additional information from me, I would have hoped they would have been a bit proactive in clarifying. When you pay $100 for 30 minutes you hope for a level of customer service. Let's hope they take accountability for misses on their side and provide a refund.

She was able to negotiate great deals with the vendors and directly dealt with them which was amazing to get off my plate. I also had certain things that I wanted for the party (i.e. i try to be as sustainable as i can do that meant little waste, compostable plates, etc) and Fazia was able to source these items that met this demand (ie the plates matched the color theme and were cute!). My wedding was two days ago and everyone is still talking about how great the music and dancing was - especially the older folks (50+ in age). He had plenty of favorites to play for them, and he was very open to suggestions and direction when it came to catering to the tastes of me and my husband. Our first dance was unforgettable - Keith was right on cue with my song, and it was LOUD, clear, and absolutely beautiful through his sound equipment. Keith was great to work with in general - easygoing and friendly, and fast to respond to calls and emails. I had some unusual requests, so I brought along 3 homemade CDs. He mixed in my requests in with plenty of hits and favorites for everyone else. My now-husband and I are fairly laid back people, and in the weeks leading up to the wedding, we really appreciated Keith's combination of helping us picture the night (in his MC duties), and his laid-back approach when we answered "I don't know" to several questions about what we wanted for songs at different parts of the night (turns out he had good suggestions too: "Sugar Sugar" is really fine for the cake cutting song). Also, compared to some of the other event planning/DJ vendors we looked at, he was incredibly responsive, matched our style (some of the others seemed kind of high-strung when we called them for quotes), and was well within our budget When it came to the actual wedding? He kept the dance floor packed all night. We gave him a list of songs that we thought were fun, and he worked most of them in at one time or another. Several guests remarked that night at how good he was at keeping the flow of the party going. A few guests had requests that he didn't have on him, and he would download a version of the song in real-time. Highly recommend.
