A family friend whose daughter got married at Cog Hill a few years ago used Jon Wise, and they strongly recommended him. So, after we booked our venue, JPW Productions was actually the first vendor we hired! We were really busy with last-minute wedding planning, so we were not able to fill out the music preference questionnaire until a few days before the wedding. (Yes, it was honestly insanity.) Jon was SO patient with us despite how last-minute we are. He has a great personality and didn't stress us out at all on the day of the wedding (even though it was totally within his right to do so because we didn't give him the flash drive of a certain version of a song until the day of!). Even though we filled out a list of songs we wanted played, I gave him creative control to play songs that would get people out on the dancefloor. And he did just that! Even though we only had under 140 people at the wedding, the dancefloor was hopping. We got feedback from guests that they loved the variety in the songs the DJ played. If there was one thing we would change is we would have gotten the attendant to help with the photo booth process, but that was on us. Despite the distance it felt as though we were working directly with Jason. He was very attentive to what we needed he answered and advised us for good song choices. He also created a first dance mix that we requested within 1 hour of our request. He did all of the mc for the wedding and it flowed very smoothly. The best part was at the reception i can't recall one time where there wasn't at least 10+ people on the floor and truly the dance floor was always packed. He flowed with the crowd and switched up songs accordingly when it was dying down. Would hire Jason and his team again in a heart beat.
