My wife and I came in to patronize the Travelers notebook section and look at a few other items, including fountain, pens, and gel roller pens. When she asked where the Travelers notebook items were, we were dismissively told "they are over there" as the employee pointed to a back wall without looking up. Wewere never asked if we needed further help. The two employees who were in the store were very dry, never offering any assistance and or a smile. When I asked to view the pens in the case, the young lady who showed me barely even attempted to offer me any type of instruction or suggest other items for me to look at. It was almost as if I was bothering her. The store has a lot of great merchandise, but I can get all of those things online and not be treated this way.

Now, I don't claim to be a K-Pop expert nor do I consider myself a part of their target audience. However, I wanted to do something nice for my daughter due to school finally being out for summer. She really struggles with large groups of people as well as public spaces, so I went into the store alone. As soon as I entered, I immediately felt judged. All of the employees were staring at me and following my every move throughout the store. The store isn't very large, and I was the only customer there, so let's just say it's extremely obvious that all of the employees had their eyes trained on me. I was followed, watched, and treated like a criminal for simply trying to buy my daughter a gift. At one point during my visit, the employee with the ponytail, glasses, and dark hair walked over to a coworker and whispered into her ear while staring directly at me. After she whispered, they both audibly laughed. I was humiliated. I felt completely ridiculed by this employee, who had treated me like a criminal and now had the audacity to make fun of me while I was within eyesight? I felt so overwhelmed with the entire situation I felt like crying. It was like being back in high school again with the gossiping and judging my every move. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer in my life.
