The best best walking shoes. At 67 yes walked all over Europe like if I was walking on a cloud. Nothing beats the memory foam.

My trip to SoBe Unique was at it's Espanola Way address. It will be moving to the Washington Street…read morelocation on September 1, 2008. I walked into this little, crowded shop after stumbling onto the quaint oasis of Espanola Way located right in the middle of the craziness South Beach. More of that in a different review. The floor here was strewn with shoeboxes that were simply and sloppily stacked in the middle of the store. I maneuvered around them and found some cute, unique, and comfortable looking shoes. As I spoke with the two friendly gentlemen at the store, I became more comfortable. They told me about how and where the shoes were hand made. Luckily they had my size in the cutest, most comfortable shoes I have bought in years. I asked how much and when the owner said $50 I didn't even blink. Hey, I'm on vacation and I thought the shoes were worth $50. Only to look back later at the picture I had taken of the storefront and the sign that read "Store moving. Everything must go. All shoes $49 or less." So basically this "really nice guy" ripped me off. Bummer! I also found out that everything in South Beach is negotiable. Basically you offer half of what they are asking and then go back and forth until you aren't paying $50 for a pair of shoes. Why couldn't someone have told me this BEFORE I went out shopping!!? Argh. So, I liked the shoe's comfort and style, the owner is pretty cool, just remember to bargain for a good price!

Oh my god!!!! I am out of control when I walk into Sobe Unique. I can't even maintain eye contact…read morewith Juan Cortes (the owner) when he greets me. I keep on glancing at the shoes and can't wait to touch them, try them on, and take the whole store home with me. First, if you want to walk in fine, hand-made shoes that feel like you're walking on clouds, then you're in the right place. I'm all about comfort but could never find gorgeous shoes for both work and beach life in Miami. If you don't believe me TRY A PAIR. I especially like the ones with straps that you tie around your ankles. My boyfriend goes crazy when I wear those. He says "honey, I want you to buy ALL your shoes from where ever you got those." The first time I was there, I bought 5 pairs. They range between $29-$79. But they last forever. Juan also told me that if I bring a fabric or a dress and want to have matching shoes, they'll make them for me. Their website www.sobeunique.com doesn't do the variety of shoes justice.

I've been coming here since the days when Howard Austin Feld had his shop here, when you could still park on the street and the crowd felt more local than curated. Back then, it was quirky galleries, mom-and-pop shops, and artists setting up easels by the fountains. History matters here. Originally designed in the 1910s by Carl Fisher (the same guy who basically invented Miami Beach), it was later reimagined in the 1950s by Morris Lapidus, the legendary architect behind the Fontainebleau. He turned Lincoln Road into a pedestrian mall--a radical idea at the time--that gave Miami Beach its own open-air Broadway. For decades, it was where retirees fed pigeons, musicians played for tips, and snowbirds people-watched under the palms. Today? It's glossier. Trendy flagship stores, outdoor cafés charging $9 for a latte, and enough selfie sticks to arm a small militia. The pigeons have been replaced by pickup artists--guys working the crowd like it's spring break year-round, angling for phone numbers from beautiful women in sundresses. Depending on your vibe, it's either comedy gold or background noise. But here's the truth: Lincoln Road is still Lincoln Road. The fountains still splash, the architecture still hums with mid-century glamour, and the people-watching is world-class. From models strutting past with shopping bags to a family of tourists melting under the Miami sun, this strip remains Miami Beach's beating heart.

Lincoln Road Mall is a must stop when you're either visiting Miami Beach, visiting from out of town…read moreor just to have a nice night out. There's a lot of potential to be an even greater destination spot and lots of events and activities. Live music is often played on the weekends. Excellent variety and options for food and desserts along with shops and stores and even art galleries! Most parts of Lincoln Mall are clean and almost every restaurant will offer outdoor seating while providing great service. Great destination with easy parking around and overall spot for dining, shopping and leisure and perfect to relax and people watch. Great mix of high end stores and regular boutique stores to cater to every person.

I reminded her that all the scented body care is already unsealed and is quite literally only meant to be smelled and browsed before buying... she then just stood at the end of the isle talking to herself ... If this wasn't my Neighborhood store that I very frequently visit I definitely would have just left my items there in isle and left. but being that I come here so often and never had a bad experience I continued with my shopping .management definitely needs to review and provide better training ,this third world hostility and lack of common sense and self awareness will detour all the locals and bring in the wrong crowd .you're better off going to the river landing tj max right over the bridge ,huge store with a much bigger selection and 5 stories of amazing department shopping
