The manager CAMERON mocked me because I asked why they didn't have more size 10 shoes in women's . He rubbed to fingers together to tell me that was the smallest violin. Basically telling me my question was insignificant and I was insignificant as a customer. My husband an I left dumbfounded an couldn't believe how he dismissed me. We had actually purchased a pair of shoes each. After a few hours we were furious and returned to shoes and let CAMERON know what he thought about his rude behavior and comment. I will be contacting SKETCHERS corporate office tomorrow! This store will never get our business again! read more

I've always been a big fan of Skechers shoes (dating back to the mid-90's) even before they were popular while becoming the 3rd largest footwear brand in the United States right behind Nike and Puma. The location I am reviewing is none other than their Citrus Heights store at the Sunrise Marketplace directly on Greenback Lane near Sunrise Blvd. This particular "Skechers Warehouse Outlet" is in a busy strip mall neighboring many popular retailers including Marshall's, Half Price Books, and Five Below so parking can at times be a bit of a challenge. I've been here on several occasions as it is a quick 10-minute drive from my home. Not to mention, they have very deep discounts on some of their most popular footwear. In addition to their shoes (casual, running, dressy, etc.), they also carry a wide variety of slippers, flip-flops, clothing, socks, hats, and even duffle bags. Many of the products here have very deep discounts with markdowns anywhere from 20-60% off the retail price. During my most recent visit, I was able to score a pair of wide fit air-cooled memory foam shoes with built-in laces marked down to $39.99 which was originally priced at $85.00. Best of all, they actually had my size. I wear an 8.5 (yes, I have very small feet for a male) so these fit me perfectly. Not to mention, the shoes are super lightweight and comfortable where the memory foam shoes are great at alleviating pressure points. I am at that age where comfort is more important than looks & style so these hit the spot for me. I've read several reviews of the customer service lacking here but I haven't quite had an issue in the dozen or so times I have shopped here. Usually at shoe stores, I enjoy self-browsing and only ask if I need a specific size. Even when I took the shoes up to the register, the cashier was polite and took care of me in a timely manner. With that said and done, I am giving the Citrus Heights "Skechers Warehouse Outlet" an above average four stars. read more

It was our first time shopping at this location, and we had a very good experience. When we asked for assistance a couple of times, we were quickly and courteously responded to, and given all the information we needed. I saw some kids make a mess and it was quickly swept up. The store was pretty roomy, very organized, and clean. Some extra seating & mirrors in more areas would have been nice. On Monday my boyfriend and I stopped in to get my daughter some new kicks since she went up a size. The staff were very helpful and they had a very wide selection of options to choose from, including a sale rack!! I purchased the Dreamy Lites in Light Grey at 40% off, the sneakers fit her perfectly and were very comfortable for her as well! I also purchased the Twinkle Toes Sunshines for her at get this, 70% off! Each step she made in her sandals, the lights would blink! Not to mention they were comfortable for her as well and as we were leaving the cashier gave her a sticker sheet she was excited to use as soon as we got home!! Horrible! I will never purchase another shoe from this company! I ordered so shoes online. When I received them the didn't feel right. I walked around the house in them to see if I would be comfortable. I wasn't so I returned them. They sent me a refund coupon only to be used at their store. The claimed my shoes were " used" and could not give me my money back .I complained and they still said they wouldn't give me back my money. Omg! This was a horrible experience! I've been in here a couple of times for sneakers. Each visit, I found something that works for me at a price that works for me. Associate 046650 helped me on June 24 with the last pair I bought at this store. She was great! Though I don't like the foam insole (hint skechers corporate - migrate back to non-memory foam - the foam is annoying junk), at least I find memory foam sneakers at a price I'll accept. The service is great here, too. Oddly, a 3 pair of compression socks ended up with one pair being two left foot socks, but the gals remedied it without hassle upon my next visit. Being candid, the restroom seems a bit run down but that's not on the staff. Everything else is great about this store. When I'm not running, Skechers are my kicks of choice. My shopping experience in this store on Thursday evening, June 20, 2024 was outstanding because of Benjamin and Alex!! I don't usually purchase shoes without my wife being with me to help me pick out the shoes because she knows what looks good on my feet, but my wife couldn't be with me so I decided to shop for SKECHERS on my own since the two pairs of SKECHERS that I currently own are old and worn out. I walked in and looked around for a few minutes and then I found Benjamin and asked him if he would help me find some men's SKECHERS similar to the ones that I was wearing. Benjamin said yes and he immediately started looking for SKECHERS that he thought I would like. Benjamin was polite, courteous, professional, positive, very knowledgeable about the various men's SKECHERS that were in stock and he was very patient with me answering my questions when I had them about the different styles of men's SKECHERS that he showed me! Benjamin made me feel very comfortable looking at men's SKECHERS even though my wife wasn't with me to help me decide what shoes to purchase! Benjamin went to the back room a couple of times to see if he had my size in some SKECHERS that he showed me and unfortunately he didn't have my size in stock. I tried on one pair of SKECHERS that Benjamin had showed me while he was checking for my size for a different style of SKECHERS and they felt very comfortable on my feet. After Benjamin returned from the back room I asked Benjamin if I could return the SKECHERS that I tried on if they hurt my feet after I wore them for a few hours and he said yes. Benjamin also showed me another men's shoe which I didn't try on, but I liked the color of the shoes so I took both pairs of SKECHERS to the cashier to pay for them. Benjamin deserves a "10++++++" for his OUTSTANDING customer service!! Benjamin was 'AWESOME" and I highly recommend talking to Benjamin about SKECHERS shoes if you are in the Citrus Heights store because he is "AWESOME" and he will take good care of you!!!! Alex was the person that rang up my shoes at the front cash registers. Alex greeted me with a smile and she asked how I was doing. Alex checked both pairs of shoes to make sure that I had a left and a right shoe in each box and that both shoes in each box were both the same size! Received no help until I kept asking for info and or a directions to where I could even look for shoes that my grandson wanted. Someone finally came and helped. She even measured his foot. However she insisted there were no shoes in his size & walked away. We did finally find a pair. I had several different discounts sent to my email, I was told I couldn't use them because I wasn't registered. High end prices in a warehouse with poor lighting, god awful loud music and no carts. In general, Skechers footware provides poor ankle and arch support. I chose a pair of shoes I liked but did not purchase them for 3 days at which time the box was marked up an additonal 2 dollars. When I got to the register they rang up at $10.00 more than the first price. I was able to settle for the current price on the box. I am happy to pay at the high end but not out of a second rate store with little consideration for customers. I will be buying other brands in the future. read more

My husband, daughter and I came in yesterday to look for shoes for sadly an unfortunate passing that happened in my family. I was already very upset and sad of course but this very sweet, smiling, associate instantly greeted us with a lovely Welcome. I am sure she could tell I was upset and I could tell she was very busy already and getting pulled every which way. However, she took the time to show me every shoe that I asked questions about and made me leave with a smile on my face. She had tattoos from what I could see and short hair with glasses. I bought some sketchers online and didn't like the way they fit so I was looking for a store to return them so I looked at the yelp reviews and was going to avoid this particular store because of the less than stellar reviews; however I found myself in the vicinity so I gave it a shot. I was extremely pleased the moment I walked in I was greeted by the employees, and they were extremely helpful and very friendly. I can't say one negative thing about my experience because they were very accommodating to my needs. I returned my sketchers got an exchange with the remaining amount credited back onto my card. I asked why in the world would they have such negative reviews on yelp because they were so nice with me. The employee said that it was because their old manager was very awful . We have become new Skecher fans within the past year and keep coming back. The outlet stores have much better prices so that is where we buy them most of the time. I usually shop at the West Sac store but we were in the area for dinner last night. It is typically is a giant rectangular store with rows and rows of shoes. We had to meet some friends so we had limited time. We walk in and I immediately see two female employees in the middle of the store but directly in front of the doorway. I waited for a greeting and an approach for help. The two continued to socialize with each other without even looking at the next few people walking through the door. I wandered aimlessly looking for running shoes. Another lady was wandering aimlessly too. The two girls were going on about their night what bar they like to frequent. We were within 10 ft of them. OMG it was absolutely unreal. I have worked retail for 10 yrs in my twenties and the number one rule is that you do not socialize when there are customers in the store and you certainly stop a moment to greet your customer. I felt like I would be interrupting their long intense story by asking a question. After about ten minutes (when their conversation was done), one asks if I needed any help. Yes i did and the shoes I wanted was nowhere near I thought it would be. Left side mens and right side womens. Dummy me was looking on the right when they were on the left! under the sign that says men. Hmph. My point is, it would have saved me tons of time if I had known that when I walked in. I refused to buy shoes there but my husband found a few. The second girl at the register had a tough time finding me because she wasn't spelling my email right. Then I ask her about the $10 offer and that I should have had one for signing up. She said it would have been emailed. I asked if there was an expiration because I had not seen it. She said she didn't think so but didn't really know? WTF. How can you not know about your promos??? If this was my first time, I would probably swear off Skechers forever but it is not. I just won't be coming back to this store EVER. Worst retail customer service I have seen in a longtime. Usually you have to have a manager on duty at all times and I fear one of them was one. Adult Sized Twinkle Toes As a child my favorite pair if kicks were a custom designed pair of vans but that's a whole other story. Tonight I set out on a journey to obtain a pair of light up twinkle toes. I was saddened to find that twinkle toes do not come in adult sizes. I am a size 8 1/2 in woman's ( according to the sketchers website ) and I could not find a pair that I would be able to fit my feet into. Trying so squeeze my feet into a pair of grossly undersized twinkle toes would be like in cinderella when her fugly ass sister PATRICA tries to squeeze her foot into the glass slipper. All I want is a pair of twinkle toes that will fit my post-pubescent feet. This is not what I pay taxes for!! read more

Every time I have been to the Citrus Heights location, I find the employees either talking to each other or not to be seen. It is very hard to find assistance there nor good customer service. They grudgingly do the minimum in helping. They refuse to go above and beyond. I like the product so I go back and each time I hope for a better experience only to be disappointed.
