This 5 star review is way overdue but definitely needs to be shouted and YELLed and YELPed out! Abigail from this store( photo) is the most natural, thorough, persevering, patient, courteous and hardworking sales and floor rep I have ever met in a sporting goods/athletic shoe store in the US of A. I was in Arizona in April to participate in a Veterans fundraising event and racquetball tournament. I flew in directly from Europe to Phoenix for those 3/4 days and needed to get two pairs of sneakers in a 12 and a 1/2 wide. Wednesday 4/9/25 - I entered the store to a thunderous and enthusiastic welcome from Abigail. She left the counter and walked up saying hello, then asked me if I was looking for anything specific. She took me to the men's section with my sizes. Unfortunately they had a limited quantity and just plain colors in that size and width. She saw me checking out 3 different styles and offered to check in the back for them. She did and reappeared empty handed but ready to locate them - anywhere!! She started calling adjacent Skechers stores while taking down my hotel name and date of departure( WOW) to see if she could get me a shipment before that day. She also tried online but we could not arrange for a delivery in the time frame I had. I did not get to purchase anything on that day but walked away feeling great about Skechers and the Amazing Abigail who went that extra 500 miles for me. This is a big and clean store. Went to the Metrocenter location in Phoenix, AZ and I was being checked out by one of the rudest woman that I have ever encountered. $ 150.00. She was very rude upon check-out and refused to help me find a different size shoe. read more

Comfortable and I like the slip-ons. I purchased socks and they are really nice usually the shoes socks walk their way into a clump under my arch. These Sketcher socks stay put. read more

HORRIBLE customer service and Skechers will NOT stand behind their products. I was in the store on 9/14/2022 for roughly 30-40 minutes, trying to find my size in the shoes I was interested in. Not one employee approached us to see if we needed help. Then, I tried to return the pair I bought (see below for reason) and the store manager made NO ATTEMPT to resolve the issue. As for the product, I would wear RAGS on my feet before I would put on another pair of Skechers. Bought a pair of Delux Walkers and they totally broke down (pronated badly) after only 7 times on my feet (walking for a total of less than 12 miles). Worse yet, I sought help online, was sent back to the store and the manager did absolutely nothing but send me back online. I was asked to submit several photos, which I did, then was sent a "complimentary" FedEx label to send them in to be inspected. The label was never accessible. The product is HORRIBLE and the service is even WORSE. Don't waste your money on this junk! Buy a pair of real shoes. read more

My wife and I went here to buy me some shoes for work and her some shoes for her everyday wear. She is blind and has physical handicaps and needs wide shoes. I am not very good at this stuff, so I went and asked Abigail for assistance. She was amazing!!! She was patient, listened, and helped my wife find 2 pairs of shoes she just loves. Due to assorted foot surgeries, I visited the Skechers outlet at MetroCenter Mall. What a wise decision. They have all the latest styles in most sizes for the entire family. Specifically I was looking for the slip on that's hand free and boy did they have a selection. Bobby, the manager could not have been more helpful and made my selection and purchase as simple as could be. He even advised of several in store specials. Just to be clear my review is for this location not sketchers as a brand. I called in before closing to ask for a specific style and see if it was in stock. Another store recommended that I call this location because they are most likely to have the size I need. The girl answered the phone and declared they were closed and she could not help me. It was minutes before closing not after closing. She then agreed it was not quite that time and proceeded to put me on hold until after closing time. Then a manager answered and told me they were now closed and computers are no longer available to look up style numbers. This is why people shop online. read more

Yesterday I went into the Skechers Factory Outlet outside Metro Center Mall. I was looking for shoes that would be comfortable for walking. Tried quite a few pairs of shoes and to no avail. While I was trying on shoes there was a gentleman who sat nearby to try on a pair. In doing so we got into a discussion about shoes and found out we both had a difficult time finding shoes that fit comfortably, for the same reason. Now how is that possible? I came to a conclusion that I wasn't going to try on anymore shoes. They do have a relatively good size selection and colors to try on. Yesterday wasn't my day to find a pair I liked and that fit me comfortably. The pricing on their shoes is moderate. Plus they do have shoes for work if that's your thing. They also have a large selection for the women not just a guy place. I have no problem going back some other day. As I was walking out I saw the gentleman I was talking to and noticed he didn't buy any as well. Shoes are a personal thing anyway. Maybe if you try this place you will find what you need but, this just wasn't my day. I guess, better luck next time. read more

Always friendly here, with smokin' hot styles as well as the old classics. Kids light up shoes with so.much flash, I can feel an epileptic 'sode coming on--damn awesome! Store is well maintained and the boots are on sale. Lot of good selections unless you're a lumberjack. They even have golf shoes. read more

If you have issues with your feet and shoe shopping is just a painful experience might I suggest Sketchers Go Walks? They are amazing! The best advice I ever got from a fellow educator. She was correct and I adore these shoes. I still have my first pair of Black Go Walks from over 6 years ago. They saw me through two marathons, many laps in my classroom, and much walking in various cities and countries around the world. I wore out the toe and heel and believe it or not they are still comfy. Sadly, it was time for a new pair and to save these for Knock Around shoes, as my Mom famously would say. Well with a sad heart I zoomed into this location to get a new pair in black. I do not normally go to this store but the one in Maryvale. I was running errands over break. Service could have been better at this location. They were doing inventory and I felt like I was in the way. There were only two customers in the store and 6 or more sales folks. Nothing horrid, but they could have been more helpful in my opinion, especially since there was a huge staff to customer ratio that day. However, the gentleman behind the counter was very kind. i was extremely lucky to have scored my size and the brand I prefer on the clearance rack. Same shoe for over 60 percent off. I never did figure out why this was. The shoes in the box were close to 50 bucks but the same shoe with no box was under 20 dollars. Who am I to ask why. I happily skipped out of the store with my new shoes in the older style I prefer. By the way, even if you pay the higher price these shoes are worth every single penny you will spend. So in a nutshell- 5 for shoes, 5 for price if you can what you want on the clearance rack, and three for service. I rounded to four stars. My only suggestion is that I secretly wish they made Go Walk shoes prettier and in a dress shoe style. I see they now have sandals but they are not as comfy as the Go Walks. The Go Walks themselves are not the most attractive shoes for dressier styles of clothes. read more

What a difference this location is from the Arrowhead store! We were actually greeted when we walked in the door...staff was busy but available to answer questions & when I couldn't find something, one employee went out of his way to look for it. I love Skechers, but I don't like how they've all turned into factory outlets now. It has really taken away from the level of customer service they used to have & in spite of the bigger stores, they don't seem to have the inventory you need. The Metro location came pretty close tho...their employees need to show the Arrowhead employees how it's done! read more

I LOVE Skechers brand of shoes Not enough good things to say about Skechers shoes. Here's just a few. I developed Plantar Fasciitis & literally couldn't walk without extreme pain in my heels. I went online to order special shoes designed for Plantar Fasciitis & couldn't find anything good that wasn't under $125. While debating on whether or not to order them I decided to wear my Skechers Bob's in the house as slippers. Within 3 days my pain was gone! The memory foam in their shoes is remarkable for the price. I was going on a weekend trip that involved lots of walks/touring. I wanted a pair of comfortable shoes that were semi-dressy with a little heel. Impossible? No. Once again Skechers came thru. I ordered the Parallel Piazza, which has a nice wedge & is also very stylish. When they came I tried them on~then the doorbell rang. Two hours later I realized I still had them on. They are so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them. The arch support & memory foam from toe to heel on these shoes is outstanding. Even the heel strap is padded! I will be ordering another pair for sure. I have two other pairs of Skechers flats that are well over a year old. I've wash them regularly in the machine & they're still going strong. Style, amazing comfort & durable~what more could you ask for? read more
