Journeys is located inside the Desert Ridge shopping area. I had never visited the store so was curious about their merchandise. They sell mainly shoes for the young adult some T-shirts, and a few accessories. Most of the shoes are fairly affordable. Staff were helpful. Shared parking lot and Wi-Fi in the area. read more

Paris is an absolute queen She was so incredibly kind and patient with me the entire time. She genuinely cared about what I wanted, took the time to listen, and gave the best input without ever rushing me. I went in to the Desert Ridge location yesterday to exchange a pair of shoes that were the wrong size. Ian was extremely knowledgeable of both current and past return policies and was able to get a pair ordered in the correct size to be delivered to my house at no charge. Worst experience I have ever had online. First they charge me 2x the amount of the shoes. And proceed to tell me that's how it works ‍ the put a hold apparently then charge separately and you get the hold back in 3-5 business days.(we will see fingers crossed.) and then the shoes come and they sent the wrong ones. Now I have to either go to journeys or fed ex to return the pair they messed up and I was double charged for before they send the other one out? And just hope my money goes back on. Btw the transactions were already cleared through the bank, so I'm sure I'll be calling again in 3-5 days. Wtf is wrong with this company? Never again!!!! Don't do it!!! read more

In no way, shape or form should a manager tell a customer to "wear the shoes, try them out, they should stretch, and if you're not happy just bring them back with your receipt for a full refund!" When the manager told me that I quizzically said " you return worn shoes?" To which she replied yes, within 30 days with a receipt! I would NEVER have worn them and "tried" them if they don't actually return worn shoes...which they don't! They say they do... but I am telling you I wore my shoes for 6 hours, had to take them off because they made my toes fall asleep, and when I took them back one day later I was told they were "damaged" not "worn"! Which obviously makes perfect sense! I said they aren't damaged they are worn per the manager's recommendation...and yet No refund was given! Just know if you buy shoes here don't trust what the salespeople or Manager say about refunds. Zoe was the manager I worked with and I'm super disappointed in the false info I was given. while at Desert Ridge I stopped in at Journeys , around 8ish. Was greeted immediately by two women. While trying on shoes I had the best conversation with the two of them. Both of the girls being in their early 20s, I was blown away with their personalities. They were both so helpful even bringing out a 1/2 size bigger in one of the shoes that I requested because she knew they ran small. So many sales associates act like you're bothering them, these two young ladies for a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately I didn't get their names, one of the girls was in college, and the other one lived in Mesa and made the drive to Desert Ridge. read more

I've always liked Journeys for their stylish, pop culture fashions. They have a large selection of Toms, Vans, classic Converse, etc. If you're looking for a large selection of Nike, Jordan's, etc, this isn't your store. If you're into funky, hipster, sk8r, then you're in the right place. Aside from shoes, they have t-shirts, bookbags, socks, and other accessories. The employees with whom I've dealt have been helpful and nice. Prices are pretty much on point with the competition. They sell kids sizes here. You can save money (@ $20-$30) by finding the same shoe (i.e. Toms, Timberland boots) in a kids size. read more

Purchased a $65 pair of white vans a month ago for a beach wedding from Journey's online store. The style was wrong, so I went to return them at this location. I explained the situation to the manager. I had my full receipt of purchase and order number and the vans were brand new & never worn at all. The store would not accept my shoes because they were not in the the little cardboard box, even though I had my receipt. They wouldn't accept a return or in store credit either. I even asked if I could buy a shoe box from them, but they couldn't do that either. This is the dumbest policy I have ever seen, and the staff at this location were rude and unhelpful. My family will never shop at Journey's again because of my experience at this location. read more
