On my last visit, I was looking for a dressier "walking" shoe that would be comfortable for walking and standing for long periods at my volunteer job. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. But then I spotted the hot pink espadrilles. They came in my size. They would go with multiple summer outfits. They were comfy. While they were not my usual more conservative look, I realized how much I "needed" them and that's why they came home with me.

There were two customers ahead of me. I looked at a few items in the store and was helped in about five minutes. I was measured for an insole. Staff heated the insole. I then stepped on a piece of equipment that would mold the insole to my foot. Staff were super helpful. She had me try on some slight compression socks. Once the insole was ready as well as my results, staff got me a pair of shoes. She placed the insoles inside and had me try them on. They felt so good. I was on a time crunch so I had to leave shortly after that. Staff sent me the foot evaluation results to my email. Interesting process and good to know the results. Shared parking lot.

I was in Arizona in April to participate in a Veterans fundraising event and racquetball tournament. I flew in directly from Europe to Phoenix for those 3/4 days and needed to get two pairs of sneakers in a 12 and a 1/2 wide. Wednesday 4/9/25 - I entered the store to a thunderous and enthusiastic welcome from Abigail. She left the counter and walked up saying hello, then asked me if I was looking for anything specific. She took me to the men's section with my sizes. Unfortunately they had a limited quantity and just plain colors in that size and width. She saw me checking out 3 different styles and offered to check in the back for them. She did and reappeared empty handed but ready to locate them - anywhere!! She started calling adjacent Skechers stores while taking down my hotel name and date of departure( WOW) to see if she could get me a shipment before that day. She also tried online but we could not arrange for a delivery in the time frame I had. I did not get to purchase anything on that day but walked away feeling great about Skechers and the Amazing Abigail who went that extra 500 miles for me. This is a big and clean store. Over the course of what was probably an hour, she helped me try on almost every shoe in the store. She offered very helpful tip and information on how to better understand the fit of the shoes. As I began to narrow down the options of what I wanted to purchase vs what I was just there to see, Aspen was so patient and ready to assist. Because of the wider selection online of colors and styles, she helped me to place my order online at the store for delivery in a few days. I appreciate her generous help and am looking forward to receiving my new shoes!

She brought out my normal 9.5 size but they were a bit too big. She then brought out a 9 and they were perfect. She was so helpful and I could tell she really loves what she does. I ended up buying 3 pairs of the drivers in different colors and I will definately go back for other styles. The in store experience was VERY refreshing.
