Quiet locals kinda joint...4 cocktail tables, 2 pub tables and a bar that has 12 stools... Pool table and electronic dart board...postage stamp dance floor with a raised band stage...as I write this review the band is setting up...called Bayou Bucket, per the board on the wall they have live music every Friday & Saturday night....all the music acts play from 9 P to 1 A.... Too clean and cared for to be a dive, jukebox and a coupla arcade games...allows smoking but tonight doesn't seem too bad...could get worse if the crowd picks up when the band kicks off.... 4 TVs behind the bar makes for easy watching.... they carry Import and specialty beer in bottles (Sol, Corona & Dos Equis cerveza, Abita, Blue Moon, Newcastle)... Scotch & waters running $5.25 a drink and domestic beers running $2.75 a bottle....all in all seems like cool little joint...

The parking can be a bit tricky for some who haven't been yet but it's easy to figure out. I love the atmosphere and how they pay attention to a wide variety of scenes from Emo and Goth Nights to Disco and Fairy Raves. The staff is always nice and the service runs smooth every time. The bar seems to provide drinks quickly throughout the night. I've never had a bad experience at Chelsea's even when I lost my phone and I will continue to attend concerts and shows there. I've brought all my friends and they've all had a great time as well. Definitely in my go to places for a fun night out alone or with friends!

Parking can be slightly sketch at night, and be aware if you're in heels, you may have to park in gravel/large rocks under the interstate. You are parking at your own risk, so don't leave valuables out. Staff is always there to greet you with a smile. I've never encountered any employee there who didn't seem to be in a pretty good mood. The floor space is large with lots of standing room. Depending on the event, they'll throw some high top tables around. There are two bars, each pretty big, and the bartenders are very attentive, looking around for the next person to serve (which is good because I am short and can get lost under some people). The drinks are a bit pricey, but the liquor is pretty good with a variety. The private events I have attended were well run and staff members were very helpful for those who rented it. The public events are also very well done. Chelsea's Live brings in some pretty big names, so keep your eye out for future events. They also highlight local artists. The stage is high enough to where you can see who's on it no matter where you are in the place. One allowed a man to take and serve a drink he didn't pay for. Leaving a woman vulnerable to being drugged. In retaliation to this being discussed with the owner, another bartender was rude. Refusing to get beers requested and paid for with cash, because "she didn't have the time." They were very busy and we would have completely understood if her response hadn't been so rude. All she needed to say was she would be back with us as soon as she could. After bringing my concerns to management and the owner, the bartenders behavior on 9/27 showed me nothing was done or the bartenders do not care how their behavior effects the business. The owner clearly has zero control of his employees and the bartenders run the bar.
