When we arrived at our lodging and walked around, there were like a dozen rental places within 1 minute - all with about the same rate and overnight storage. Thought the ski butlers might have been not needed and meeting them more of a hassle. But the arrangements were made so we went ahead. They texted they were on their way 30 mins before scheduled time. It was a confusing area (to us), but Lilly showed up exactly on time at our door with a giant bag of skis. She was knowledgeable, professional, and happy. She quickly had us in our equipment and everything adjusted. Since it was our first time at Park City, she also gave us some local advice. Picking the equipment up at the end was even easier and we just agreed with her where to leave it so they could find it. In summary, it still beat the onsite rental places just outside our door. Not worth it. Equipment is low quality compared to other local rental shops. Only have Rossignol gear for both ski and snowboard. Drop off and pick up is also inconvenient unless you are willing to work around their schedule. Took several phone calls to schedule pick up and ski techs were over an hour late. read more

We used ski butlers while out in Park City this past week. Having skied my whole life, I've always rented equipment from local shops, but have never been delivered to. Going into it, I wasn't sure how it was all going to work out, but after experiencing it I will definitely be using ski butlers again. It was such a simple and stressless process. We had our skis delivered the night before we hit the slopes and it didn't take long to get fitted. It was nice being able to sit on our couch in our condo and have our boots adjusted rather than in a busy shop on hard wood benches. Beyond this, they assured us if we had any problems, they would meet us at the base of the slopes to make any switches we needed. On our sending day, we needed to switch a pair of skis for a snowboard and they met us before the mountain opened! I was amazed how fast they got there and that everything they brought fit properly. Had a great experience with Ski butlers, what a great idea! Billy showed up at the exact time we set for him too and came with all the goods we had ordered. He was very knowledgeable and extra thorough at making sure everything was just as we wanted it to be. They were also prompt at coming by the house and picking up the gear, we had gotten off the mountain a little earlier than expected and had given them a call to let them know we were done early and they even came and grabbed the gear early! We flew into Utah from NYC for a long weekend of skiing, and didn't think it made sense to bring our own skis, plus we were interested in testing out some demo skis. Ski Butlers made it so INCREDIBLY EASY! We had to change our reservation the day before we got there -- no problem. One of the Ski Butlers came right to our hotel at our pre-scheduled time to fit the bindings to our boots. Everything was as advertised. Only problem was that my wife needed a longer ski than they delivered to our room -- no problem...they swapped them out within 30 minutes without any hassle whatsoever. At the end of our weekend, all we had to do was leave the skis at our hotel and Ski Butlers would pick them up. All of this service was included in the price of the rentals. Lastly, the quality of the skis we got was exceptional. We ordered one of the higher end rentals so we could get the demos we mentioned earlier, and we were thrilled that the skis themselves were in such great shape. Sarah helped us with the fitting, she was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We set up our appointment for 7pm the night before our 1st day of skiing. It was nice to be ready for the next day in advance. I was able to call and easily add on an extra day to my rental. I spoke to different employees throughout my rental process, all offered outstanding customer service. They pick up the skis when you are finished in the evening. They brought several pairs of boots, but for both of us, the first pair we tried were a perfect fit! I forget her name but the manager at the front desk who works under Jake was fantastic. I'm a newbie skier and she took care of me with my skis boots poles helmet as well as making sure I had warm socks and a gater. Fantastic customer service. Highly recommend. To top it off I was a walk in from the Sheraton next door and Jake brought my stuff over to the hotel for me. I've used this service for years due to their service and convenience. This year they are refusing to pick up my skis at Deer Valley resort like they have every other year in the past. There is really no benefit to using them over the on site rental as on the first day we had to get our skis to the mountain and on last day need to bring them back to our condo. With three children and a pregnant wife this is not nearly as convenient as their website would have you believe. Do not use this company if planning on skiing at deer valley. read more

This is my 2nd time using Ski Butlers. First time was in Vail where they went out of their way to answer our technical questions and swap out our gear over 4 days. This time used the Park City team to outfit my teenagers. I was most concerned about boot fit since both of my kids have wide feet. They might be a little bit more then renting from the ski shop at Canyons but the convenience and the service is worth every penny.
