She is both very knowledgeable about her craft and skilled at engaging with my kid - all that knowledge would be useless if my kid didn't want to play with her, right?! My preschooler's sessions are all very fun, play-based, and child-led, they don't realize they're doing "therapy." Colleen is always open to my thoughts about where they could use some extra support from her. The proof is in the results - they've made a ton of progress over the past few months, even in areas I didn't know that OT intervention would help with. Oh, Colleen does this quality work AND takes insurance - what an amazing find!

At 25 years old and as an avid runner, I was not keen on this idea and was dissatisfied with a suggested opiate approach to my pain. I was recommended to see Dr. Stroud by a friend. Instantly, we connected. After hearing for years about pain mitigation and more shots and pills, it felt like ecstasy to have someone bring a can-do attitude and positive outlook to my pain. We did I believe 10 rolfing sessions together, it was not easy but Dr. Stroud worked hard while we were together and while apart (to get insurance to help pay for my sessions). She helped me change my posture, running style, and even the seat in my car to make sure I wouldn't be plagued by knee and hip pain. I am totally pain-free now, my "doctors" are miffed. Dr. Stroud changed my life. I log a minimum of ten thousand steps a day, run often, play sports, and lift weights. To think walking was supposedly going to be a lifelong struggle, I cannot thank Dr. Stroud and the Hand-N-Hand team enough. I'd pay double the price I paid to be as content as I am now with my body. I recommend them to anyone who has a nagging injury or isn't content with a life of pain.

We appreciate how honest the therapist was about how she didn't see any underlying concerns with her in this area and was not pushy about continuing therapy sessions. But we did discuss perhaps occupational therapy to help her with feeding for future development. So we booked a few feeding OT sessions with Nadia and my daughter was in love with her from day 1. She was kind, patient and instantly connected with our daughter in trying to pin point the best way to encourage her to open up on how she interacts with food. Would highly recommend.

On recommendation of our dentist, we tried some videos to help him with speech, but we were not successful on our own. After a Zoom call with Ariel and Ahmad, the speech therapist, we felt very confident and comfortable with Fairfax Pediatric Therapy. After the first session, my son made huge strides in his "sh" sounds - he was actually able to articulate it correctly, even if it was a struggle. Long story short, as of today (3 months after starting) Finn has met all of his speech goals and no longer needs the services. Both Ahmad and Finn worked hard to make this happen - and in such a short time. I didn't expect progress so fast, to be honest. Not only that - my kiddo actually looked forward to the sessions. Ahmad took the time to get to know his interests - chess and strategy games - and built the sessions around play. When we left today, for the last time, Finn said he was going to miss his friend. We have had the best experience! Thank you.

This is an amazing rehab facility from the office personnel to the OT and PT (Physical Therapy), including SP (Speech Therapy therapists. I've been through physical therapy with them a few times and the therapists here are the best. Cathleen with the help from her assistance Ashley put me throw the paces two times a week for 8 weeks in order to regain strength in my right ankle and , lessen the pain in both knees,. Cathleen would showed me how to do each exercise and then had me do them. Well at first I felt like a real failure but she would give me the encouragement to succeed. Cathleen always challenge me to do the my best and by the time I finished with all the sessions I left better then when I started. Everyone there is personable and care for a patient's well-being. I would I HIGHLY recommend Cathleen or any of the other staff because they always have a smile and an encouraging word as you are training. Thank you Cathleen and Ashley!!!!
