Their office is located in an area of other office buildings and right off of Little River Turnpike on the 1st floor of the suite. I love how I never have to wait and usually they take me before my appt time, this is very important to me so I appreciate it! Dr. Timothy Yun is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Yun took time to address my needs and provided me useful exercises and tools. I love how engaging and friendly the staff is! I appreciate the various conversations with the Doctor & staff made it very enjoyable experience. They also have another office located in Centreville, VA in which they are also open on Saturdays. My doctor suggested that I try physical therapy to help improve my symptoms. I was very skeptical at first - after all I went from being a very active person to not even being able to walk for 5 minutes without symptoms. But, I gave it a shot. Now, after 9 months or so of PT, I'm back to walking 10k steps without symptoms and am getting back on my Peloton bike after years of not being able to!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the POTS program to anyone suffering with this illness. Sarah is kind, patient, upbeat, understanding, and a constant cheerleader. She pushes you but not TOO hard that you want to stop. I started seeing results in a couple of months after doing the protocol. Today, I graduated. In October 2024 I had total knee replacement surgery (TKR). This surgery is a traumatic surgery and for some can be grueling mentally, physically, and emotionally. One major component that played a huge role in my surgery is both pre and post physical therapy. I have always believed that PT is crucial for major surgery recovery and I treat PT like a job that I want to succeed in. Why Pre-Surgery PT before a TKR? Everyone knows to be healthy and in good condition before TKR. Pre-Surgery gets your knee stronger, period end of story. Rachel was able to take measurements, we worked my quad and all aspects of the leg. I would highly recommend investing in pre-surgery PT as it will help with post-surgery recovery. Why Post TKR Surgery PT? Well, it's simple, after surgery they have you 'walk' and you can 'walk' because you have a nerve block and can't feel a thing - literally nothing. They just want to make sure the knee can move before you leave the surgical center. Once that nerve block wears off the 'fun' begins. There will be pain (for some severe), bruising, possible lack of sleep due to pain, possible constipation because of the narcotics, and overall it's a great time. My top three things that have got me through the first few weeks: My ice machine, a strong support system, and PT. You literally can't bend or straighten the leg. As soon as you can, go to PT. For me it has been so important and working with Rachel and doing my exercises at home have really helped. You'll see slow progress but stick with it. Rachel, thank you for your support, for pushing me just enough, for listening to me with caring ears, for being my cheerleader, and for being so dedicated to your profession.

I worked with Alec for about half a year and he really helped me work on getting my range of motion and strength! He asked me questions and conducted range of motion tests to create a plan personalized for me. I saw him once or twice a week and then had the companion app at home to log and do my rehab exercises and he even gave me a theraband to use at home. And after each session, they also have water or snacks for you! Overall, I made some good progress and had a great time here. The staff is all very friendly, especially their dog! The space is clean and decorated with encouraging words, a variety of machines, and theres always good music playing to get you in the zone. I would definitely recommend going here.
