Good stuff. The therapists are great and so is everyone else that works there. In sum, don't go here and clog up the appointments. ;)

The first she called me after a cancellation to offer me an early time, I even had to bring my kids to the back and she was accommodating, attentive and kind, which I really appreciated. I have multiple nose and ear piercings that cannot be removed and while I understand that typically they should be removed Hibi has worked with me to ensure I was not only able to receive this much needed service but do so in a manner that didn't put anyone at risk. Thank you Hibi for your repeated professionalism and flexibility.

But when it comes to more serious or ongoing medical conditions, my experience has been very disappointing. I've often felt like my concerns weren't fully investigated, my diagnoses weren't given the attention they deserved, and appointments felt rushed--as if I were being moved through an assembly line instead of being treated as a patient with individual needs. If you're dealing with a complex medical condition, I'd encourage you to consider finding a physician or specialist who can spend the time to thoroughly evaluate your symptoms and provide personalized care. That's just been my experience. I'm especially frustrated because I've requested a Verification of Treatment (VOT), and the process has felt unnecessarily difficult. I simply want the documentation I need and to feel like my health concerns are being taken seriously.

At each annual exam, I raised concerns about my irregular cycle and asked about hormone testing, but was told my symptoms were normal and was offered birth control instead. Years later, another doctor outside of Kaiser diagnosed me with severe endometriosis, and I later discovered that my symptoms were not documented in my records by Dr. Colden-Massey. Based on this experience, I would not choose this Kaiser OB-GYN department for patients with subtle or complex symptoms they want fully investigated. However, I know others have had good experiences here for straightforward pregnancy care.

My husband and I recently found a caring, compassionate therapist for my stepchild with special needs. This made me come back to this page to reflect on how we as a family suffered mental health-wise due to the lack of quality therapists at KP Behavioral Health but also specifically this location. Our child has special needs and required some hospitalization, the ER doctors recommended weekly therapy, we were seeing the male child psychologist, "Dr. K". He was adequate at first but as this child's needs increased it was apparent that Dr. K was not effective. Appointments were hard to schedule because if you didnt schedule one at that same appointment there wouldnt be one for months out. Make sure you establish a standing appointment early in your sessions. We transitioned on to a provider in the same building who was recommended for providing PCIT therapy. "Ms. Z" did not start on a good foot scolding my husband and I on a heated phone call for sending "Too much documentation" Then despite the ER Doctor's recommendation she wanted to see the child less noting "theres nothing more i can do for him" Im actually going to thank Ms Z for her apathetic candor, her coldness was a catalyst to leaving Kaiser and finding THE BEST therapist for our child in the world! My stepchild is now having major breakthroughs and wins and we couldn't thank her enough for being the cause of our departure as KP members.

What was not great was getting a call at 8:29am 4/10/2026 to tell me they forgot to get my $20 co-pay and request to take a credit card payment over the phone. I work evenings and was pissed. Even if I did not work at night, who calls patients at 8:29am to request payment???? I told her that I was sleep and would call back. UPDATE Immediately after speaking to me, she decided to charge whatever card I had on file because at 8:36am an email was sent to me with a receipt telling me they processed a payment on my credit card for $20. RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!

They should have I can now give them the four star review that they would otherwise deserve. I want to say that I commend the office of the CEO in having people with the capacity to respond, get back to me. Most of the time people complain about hospitals and healthcare systems. They're dealing with somebody in patient relations who has very little authority. MedStar had one of their higher working executives get back to me to address my concerns. I commend them on that. Note to moderators: I did not change this review in exchange for money. It may appear that way. The billing concerns were a central aspect of my concerns. The goal of Yelp is to inform consumers of great local businesses. Because the billing concerns have been alleviated. I believe I can change this review.

From the moment he entered the room, his demeanor was abrupt and dismissive. The first statement he made was, "I am not taking in any new clients," which immediately created an uncomfortable and unprofessional tone. I was also left unclear about his role, as his conduct did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from a medical provider. During the visit, I explained that I had been experiencing chest pains. His only response was to ask whether I had a cardiologist. I explained that while I had seen one in the past, I would need a referral and do not currently have an active cardiologist. No further effort was made to evaluate my symptoms, provide guidance, or assist in coordinating care. Additionally, when I mentioned that I believed I needed a test related to plaque in my heart, he dismissed this outright and stated that no such test existed. As I was not feeling well, I attempted to clarify by calling my mother to confirm the correct terminology, as I believed I was referring to an enzyme test. At that point, he abruptly left the room, stating, "I don't need to talk to your mother regarding this." Given the seriousness of chest pain and the importance of clear communication in a healthcare setting, I found this interaction deeply concerning. I left the appointment feeling dismissed, unsupported, and without appropriate medical guidance. I believe this experience falls well below the expected standard of care and professionalism. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed.
