Summer camp is merely kids running around unsupervised and playing video games or being supervised my other young teens. The classes are oversized with only one trained instructor and the others are not even karate instructors. The kids do the same stuff each week and get nothing out of the classes past lower belts . They're very good at introducing new folks to martial arts and work with you to set a pace depending on your schedule and abilities. They specialize in judo, which is hard to find around here, but also do a great job teaching jujitsu, wing-chung kung fu, and karate as well. There's a great, fun, and very dedicated community here who are wonderful to work with whether you want to compete in tournaments or just learn/exercise. Their pricing is very reasonable and doesn't lock you into any sort of contract for a number of months, and they let you try out the first couple of classes free. They teach both adults and kids, and they have a location out in Burlington as well.

The on site staff, including the…read moreAGM and the GM do their jobs well as far as I can tell, but their hands are likely tied with regards to what they have the ability to do with regards to the issues mentioned in this review, so it's my opinion that the in site staff are not to blame for the problems mentioned in this review. This facility has several pieces of popular equipment are way too often broken down for extended periods of time and can't be used. There are also several pieces of equipment have the vinyl padding that has worn and cracked and needs to be replaced. Sadly using this equipment with the worn padding tends to irritate the skin. Not sure what the reason is with such long delays in keeping their equipment in a working condition other than maybe those is charge are stringing the repairs along until the time comes to actually replace the broken equipment, and if that's the case then that's very poor gym management by those who are actually in charge of this particular facility. While the facility GM is technically in charge of the operation and maintenance of the facility they definitely are not the reason this particular gym seems to be falling into disrepair, the issue is someone past the GM level. This facility needs to get on the ball and bring it up to standards that the other lical PF seems to have.
