I really wanted to walk out and get my nails done somewhere else but my card was on file and I was afraid I'd be marked as a no show even though I was on time. I finally get sat down, I expressed that I was upset but she didn't seem to care or know how to react at all. The owner, Wendy was super nice and still trying to make my experience a good one. I appreciated that. I even apologized because I felt like I came off so rude, but can you blame me? The rest of the appointment went fine, we talked a bit and she did pretty much what I asked for but now that I'm home I really feel like I was ripped off. If my birthday wasn't the next day, I would've tried to find somewhere else to go.. I spent like $165 on a pedicure and gel x set with designs. Please see the designs in my photo. I did compliment my nails, I did tell her that I'd really liked them because the French she did on my toes was good! but when I got home and actually examined the work on my hands up close, the chrome isn't even that well done. The designs she drew on were sloppy! I posted my nails in a nail fb group for an opinion on my nails and experience and everyone told me it was 100% not worth what I paid. They said the execution was bad and she was unprofessional, which I agree. They were even surprised she didn't give any type of courtesy discount considering how late she was. $3 off my callus removal is not sufficient lol. They have a 15 minute grace period for late clients, they should really have something in place for when their techs are 40+ mins late. I honestly wouldn't come back. Way way overpriced.

I had a 5:15 appointment and arrived about ten minutes early (5:05), in case they needed me to fill…read moreout any paperwork or allowed for "getting ready" time. The door was locked and there were no cars in the lot, which made me nervous, but I was early so I just rang the Ring doorbell. No one answered. I peeked inside and it looked closed (only lights I could see were the ones around the giant lobby mirror), but there was a sign saying everyone was with customers, so I didn't panic. 5:10 - still no response when I rang the bell, so I tried calling the number. I got a voicemail. 5:15 - called again, still voicemail, then I rang the doorbell like ten times, but still nothing. (It's a Ring bell--shouldn't someone be able to see that there's a customer at the door?) I waited until 5:20, but at this point, I was boiling hot because it was 85 degrees and they have no shade anywhere in their parking lot. I was worried I'd get a sunburn. I was also pretty upset by this point, as I had a feeling they'd forgotten about my appointment. I ended up making an appointment with a different spa down the street (shout-out to Harmony Massage & Spa for taking me on such short notice and helping get all those knots out, I highly recommend them!), and while I was in that appointment, Aracieli from Lotus called and said "I apologize, I had a mix-up with the time." In today's day and age of phone organization and calendar reminders, that just doesn't seem responsible to me. Not to mention, I received THREE reminders about the appointment in the days leading up to it. I guess they don't receive the same reminders that their customers do? I can't speak for the quality of service, as I received none, but if you book with these people, I HIGHLY recommend calling at least 1-2 days before your appointment and confirming with an actual person that someone will be there, because if you check their reviews, I am not the first person this has happened to.
