What is the point of taking appointments if you have no intention of honoring the appointment time? I completely understand that salons can occasionally run a few minutes behind, but making a customer with a scheduled appointment wait 25+ minutes with no realistic update or apology is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and poorly organized. I'm a mom of two and specifically scheduled this appointment in advance because I only had an hour available before I needed to get home to make lunch for my kids. My time matters too. Had they been upfront and told me they were running significantly behind, I could have made the decision not to wait instead of wasting nearly half of the limited time I had. Unfortunately, this experience showed a complete lack of consideration for a customer's time. If you cannot accommodate an 11:00 appointment, don't book an 11:00 appointment. I left without getting my nails done, and I will not be returning. Very disappointing experience and extremely poor customer service.

I felt compelled to write this review because I am just amazed at how Natalie knows exactly what my skin needs. All of her product recommendations have been spot on! This girl knows her stuff! Her methodical approach to skincare is unmatched since she approaches her craft from a scientific perspective. She is well-versed when it comes to ingredients, and that means she is super picky about what she stocks. What's more, she is never pushy about you purchasing products. In fact, she gives out samples so you can try before you buy. I love going to see Natalie and always look forward to my monthly pamper session because I know my skin will look and feel better than when I walked in. Sadly, I can't say the same about other places or estheticians. She also never makes me feel rushed even though she is a one-woman show. I always get my moneys worth, and as an added perk, I also walk away knowing more about skincare and my skin, since she takes the time to explain what she is doing and why. Some of the products Natalie has recommended for my dehydrated yet oily skin, include Dermalogica's Special Cleansing Gel, Daily Microfoliant, Micro-Pore Mist, Barrier Repair, and Clearing Serums; also GlyMed's Anti-Aging Exfoliant Masque, and DBH's UV Shield. This last one is a game changer for me. I love the consistency as it's not runny nor too thick. You can easily massage it into your face--and the best part for me is how it doesn't leave my face looking shiny the way other facial SPFs do. I've been to a lot of spas over the years, and Skin Reverence is in a league of its own. Natalie did my back, shoulders, chest, and midsection waxing, along with a facial, and the experience exceeded every expectation. To be honest, I've never been a fan of waxing because it can be pretty painful, so I wasn't exactly looking forward to it. Natalie immediately put me at ease with her calm, professional approach, and the entire experience was far more comfortable than I expected. She checked in throughout the treatment, explained everything she was doing, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. What really sets Natalie apart is that she doesn't just perform treatments, she educates you about your skin. Her background in Biology is obvious in the way she evaluates your skin, explains why she's recommending certain treatments, and customizes everything specifically for you instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping her clients achieve long-term results, not just providing another service. I don't often post reviews, but this one is long overdue as I haven't experienced a facial as AMAZING as this one. I went in on a Saturday after two years of not having a facial so you know I was in need! It was my first time here, and I was completely blown away. I've had many facials in the past, so I know a great one from a good or even bad one. My Esthetician, Natalie, has hands of Gold. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Her facial was perfection and her extractions gentle. I received the Ultra-Soothing Facial with LED Light Therapy Treatment facial because my skin was in dire need of some love. The products used smelled absolutely amazing. She was very educated and explained what was in each product and the results I would see after using them. My skin is very sensitive, so I am always wary of what I put on my face. The facial included extractions of which I needed many! I have had facials before where the Esthetician is much too harsh or not harsh enough. This was not the case with Natalie. She was very gentle but got the job done. I will absolutely be back again to see Natalie! She is honest and thorough when talking about skin. She truly values the idea that everyone deserves to look and feel their best. Been coming to see Natalie at Skin Reverence for 4 years now for my facials.. my skin concerns are breakouts, pigmentation, large pores. I have struggled with this for at least 10 years and have never found any products or estheticians that have been able to really help until I met her. The perfect place for some girl talk and self care. From waxing to lashes to facials, she really does it all! Hope made an effort to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole session and she definitely kept my mind off the pain with our conversations. When going here, just know that the entrance is through the back at the white gate! The front doors (street side) will be locked. The interior is dark (could also be that it was a gloomy day) and quiet, but Cindy plays relaxing music as soon as your appointment starts. She offers water upon entry. After the initial face cleanse, she analyzed my skincare and pretty much talked me through the process of the facial and made recommendations based on my skin. My whole experience was very relaxing and I even fell asleep for a couple of minutes. My skin was rough and dry coming in, and is now soft and plump. I definitely plan on coming back. Cindy is extremely kind, accommodating, and straight to the point. She is also knowledgeable and answered any and all my questions I had for her. I recommend her for the best bang for your buck! My only tip is book in advance!

She pays incredible attention to detail, listens carefully to my wants and needs, and always goes above and beyond to help me achieve the look I want. She even offers thoughtful suggestions to make the results even better. Her prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of care and quality she provides. There's plenty of parking in the back, and you can also park in the front -- you'll usually get a spot right in front of the door since it's by appointment only. Linda is very welcoming, personable, and easy to talk to. She's also extremely careful, clean, and professional. I really appreciate how she sanitizes everything and never cross-contaminates -- she always wears a face covering to keep both herself and her clients safe. The studio itself is spacious and spotless, with several smaller rooms rented out to other aestheticians. It's great to know that you can not only get services here but also rent a room if you're a new aesthetician looking to grow your business. Linda is also very accommodating -- she checks in often to see if I need water or a bathroom break, and she has such a fun, friendly personality that makes the whole experience enjoyable. Since it's appointment-only, the environment is quiet and relaxing, which I love when I'm laying down for a few hours.
