Recently got married back in November... did a trial with Gina and I honestly have never felt prettier. I told her a little bit about the style and colors I was going for, and boy did she deliver. Gina is always very professional yet personable, and has a raw talent for make up and hair styling. Gina did my hair and makeup for my wedding earlier this month. I can honestly say that of all the vendors that were a part of our wedding, Gina stands out as the best, most professional person I worked with. She was the best decision that I made during the wedding process. My wedding planner referred me to Skin By Gina, as she has done many of her weddings in the past. A few months before the wedding, I called Gina and scheduled a trial. She arrived at my house with all of her products and did my hair and makeup exactly how I envisioned it. She took my theme, dress, and features into consideration to help me get to the exact hair and makeup that I wanted for my big day. She took pictures and notes of everything we reviewed. When the wedding month approached, Gina sent me a schedule for my bridesmaids and mom's hair and makeup. She also introduced me to her assistants that would be helping with the large bridal party. Gina worked with me to ensure the schedule was perfect and that all of the bridesmaids knew what time to be there. On the day of the wedding, Gina and her two assistants arrived at 7 AM and set up very quickly. They got straight to work and were able to complete 7 girls' hair and makeup ahead of schedule! She kept everyone moving and made sure that we stuck to the schedule. She was able to collect payments from each of the bridesmaids and organized the entire schedule and payment process. She eliminated any drama or issues with the bridesmaids by printing a picture of how I envisioned their hair and makeup, and telling them that was what they were going to do. I am so glad I did it that way because they all looked so cohesive. She dealt with the bridesmaids directly so that I was able to focus on quality time with my mom, review my vows, eat, etc., without worrying if we were on time or if everyone was paid. Gina organized everything. When it was time for my makeup, which we did last, we had a cushion of time and we were not rushed at all. I felt so calm. She spent almost 45 minutes on me making sure my hair and makeup was exactly as I envisioned it. When we finished my hair and makeup, we had 30 minutes to kill...we were actually done early! The photographers were not to arrive for another half an hour! I was never once rushed. When I looked at myself in the mirror for the first time, I was absolutely blown away. Not only did I feel beautiful and like the best version of myself, I also was SO impressed how she was able to capture my vision better than I could have imagined. She took everything I said into account and made my dreams a reality. Even after the her assistants left the hotel, Gina stayed behind and waited for the photographers to finish all of the pictures of me getting dressed, before she assisted with my veil. She was there until the second I got into the limo to be sure that my hair and makeup was perfect. Gina was recently married in 2015 and she knew all of the feelings and excitement that I was feeling. She gave me great advice about soaking in each moment and getting away with my husband for some quality time during the reception. Her advice truly made my wedding all the more special. I can honestly say, because of Gina, I felt extremely calm, confident, and ready to walk towards my future husband. It has been 1 month since the wedding and I still get chills when I think about the first time I looked in the mirror. Gina is an artist and knows her stuff. She taught airbrush and makeup schools and truly is an experienced, professional artist. She can make you look exactly how you always envisioned on your wedding day.
