I cannot speak enough of the top notch service I received at Skin! My esthetician Ashley Davies is the BEST! She kindly greeted me at the front, offered me a water and showed me my private room. The salon itself is beautiful, welcoming, charming and calming. There are private rooms throughout for all services offered. I was led to a private room for my hydra facial. I have never gotten a facial before and let me tell you! My skin has never felt so relaxed, refreshed, hydrated and youthful! WORTH IT! You will feel like a queen walking out of here! Ashley was thorough and knowledgeable of all their skin care products. Since it was my first facial she described every step in detail and the benefits their facials offered. I was scared I would have a bad reaction due to sensitive skin and redness. But no! I was blown away! My facial started with a mild stretch, cleanser, she also used a wand that creates a water vortex to cleanse the skin, then she added the lavender and oatmeal face mask followed by a jade mask (that was heaven, lol) all this and she did a lymphatic massage. Very clean and smelled lovely. Ambient music that is expected in a spa, nice decor and offerings of refreshments. They are CoVid19 prepared which was very safe feeling. The RSF location can only accommodate one person which makes this feel even safer and less likely for infections, also the aesthetician wears a mask the entire facial. They take your temperature before beginning and ask you to sanitize. Carlee was personable, patient, and sweet! She made me feel at ease and proved to be a highly skilled aesthetician. We discussed what would be good for my skin specifically and what wouldn't benefit me. She also had a firm but soft touch and I was able to drift away and relax. The conversation never felt forced and I was happy to spend my time there, it flew by so fast! I got dermaplaning (using a scalpel to scrape away dead skin and fine hairs) and custom 60min facial for me to replenish and hydrate my skin which is prone to dryness. I was a regular customer at Skin in the Ranch until this month. I had an appointment in the afternoon, but that morning my daughter tested positive for COVID. I called them early and left a voice mail saying I needed to cancel so that I wouldn't possibly expose anyone. No one ever returned my call, so I assumed all was well. They called at 10 minutes past my appointment time asking where I was. When I explained my situation, the receptionist repeated their cancellation policy and I asked if they would prefer if I come in and possibly expose all of them? She then said I had to send proof of my daughter's test. The antigen test was by that time in the trash, which I told them. She said the manager would call me back. I never received a call, but did receive an email saying they had charged my credit card for the full amount of the service. I promptly disputed it with my credit card company explaining the situation. They have now lost a regular, monthly customer along with my daughter as a customer who also used their services. The customer service and follow through was absolutely terrible. The cost of one service billed is minimal compared to the benefit of a loyal, long term customer and the goodwill I would share with others. Why is it so hard for some businesses to see that wrong headed responses like this was is far more detrimental to their business than the cost of one unplanned cancellation? Needless to say I will tell others of my experience. More lost customers. read more

It has been exactly 10 days and I LOVE THE RESULT!!!! My skin has been glowing and feels baby smooth! The dullness, redness and complexion have noticeably improved. My pores and fine lines seem to have significantly shrunk and disappeared. FYI, It took exactly 7 days to heal; I started to peel in the evening of Day 2 and continued for 4 days. I had a facial here for the first time and I was extremely disappointed by the quality and customer service. I have never had this experience anywhere else and I get facials very regularly. After my facial, I developed a really bad contact dermatitis and my skin was swollen, red, and dry for months particularly around my eyes. It was such an uncomfortable experience. I tried contacting the office and speaking with the owner many times, it took them days to respond and ultimately they didn't offer anything or respond to my texts which was really unprofessional. Given how bad my skin was after from the inflammation, I had to visit a dermatologist. It took my skin months to heal. Very unsatisfied and disappointing customer service from a "luxury" spa.
