I could rave about her treatment and how smooth my skin is after, her massages, which are awesome, and her friendly fun company, but she's even better than all of that. She has saved my skin. I had a rash around my nose from going to an unknown spa while on a business trip. For months I had tried all kinds of creams and medicines to no avail. Then I went to my dermatologist who first prescribed two medicines that cost me $300. They didn't work. The next medicine my derm prescribed was going to cost $5000 (with prescription insurance!!!). I was a bit disappointed with my experience at Spa Pelle. I had purchased a UT deal for a facial with Kerry and a hot stone massage, supposed to be for 60mins. I arrived a bit early and met with Kerry, she seems very nice and did a consult with me before we started. It wasn't so much a consultation as her telling me what she would be doing and how the process would go. She also started right away trying to sell me a package deal, which I found strange as I hadn't even had anything done yet! She really pushes her regime and treatments, asking me several times to buy more. She told me that my skin was dry and promised that her treatment would do miracles on my skin. The treatment was very quick, including my hot stone neck massage (which was amazing, she was very good at this). I was a disappointed as my voucher said this was a 60 min treatment and the total time I spent with Kerry was 45 minutes, including my "consultation". Also my skin did not do any miracles at all afterwards, the opposite in fact! It was horribly dry and looked pretty bad for almost a week after my treatment. I am used to glowing for a couple days after a facial so this was very surprising to me. Maybe the style of treatment Kerry does just isn't suitable for my skin type. She did call in and check on me a few days later, but by then I was kind of over the whole thing and wrote it off as a loss, this just wasn't a good match for me. read more
