I signed up for the power signature and though I am disappointed by lack of any results. These people make you jump through hoops to cancel. I submitted a form online to cancel and they are telling me that I still need to come in. Poor customer service, no results. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! I was informed by Olga (who Was very professional And did her job well) that in order to see any results I would need to come every 10 days for at least 4-5 months. Wait What ???? Umm. No thanks. I went in to SkinLaundry for the First Time Signature Laser Facial, which was advertised as $50. The treatment itself was really nice -- it felt like a warm, deep cleaning and my skin definitely felt refreshed afterward. However, I was surprised to learn at the end that the total came to $100. During the treatment, the doctor mentioned she was applying a "Fixer," but it wasn't explained that this was an additional $50 add-on. I wish that had been clarified beforehand, as clear communication about pricing makes such a big difference, especially for first-time clients. Overall, the experience was relaxing and professional, but I'd just suggest asking for a breakdown of costs before starting any add-ons. Information is key! read more

I became a member in August 2024 and have been going once or twice a month since--for both the Signature Facials and the Power Duo. The facility is beautiful, always spotless, and the staff is consistently warm and professional. Booking is seamless, and the experience itself is lovely and relaxing. That said, after 8 months of consistent visits, I haven't seen significant changes in my skin. I was hoping for more noticeable results by now, and I'm starting to wonder if something like Morpheus8 might be a better investment. I'm still giving it a bit more time, but the jury's out. Also, to be fair, they did ask me to write a review--which I respect. I've worked in the service industry, so I absolutely understand and value tipping. But I do think it feels a little awkward to be prompted to tip nurses on top of a fairly expensive membership, especially when the results have been underwhelming so far. The checkout process can also be confusing--it shows the full price even with a membership, so it's not always clear what you're actually being charged. Overall, the experience has been positive--but I'm still evaluating whether it's worth the continued investment. read more

The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The location is super convenient to upper west side-ers. They are very honest on what to expect with treatments and explain things very clearly. I have had two treatments so far and haven't noticed any real differences but I hope to after a couple more. I am looking to reduce pore size, small wrinkles and generally smoother, clearer skin. My friends are all getting fillers and Botox so I thought this would be a sustainable alternative. I think it would be interesting if the company could review the intake images with you after a couple treatments so you could see the difference. read more

Disappointed in myself for falling for the marketing and sales pitch. The marketing is powerful and so is the sales pitch and they way they lock you in as soon as you try it and don't let you out of a 4 month commitment is all for their own gain, not for yours. It's not a scam because you know what you have signed on for, but I still feel scammed. They lock you in for four months. I am in month three and see absolutely no results. I only see a recurring cost that I can't get out of. This place is a take your cash trap and that is all they are about. You are better off talking to a dermatologist about your individual needs. You will likely spend less and get better results! Once they upsell you and after you tip each time, you are spending more on a lower value product and experience. read more

Thought I'd give this a try. Went in for the trial based Signature laser experience, and purchased a 4 month membership program to try the Power Laser. Like it better. It seems the estheticians vary quite a bit in how they offer the treatments. One esthetician really took his time with me, and did 3 passes over my skin with the laser on the Power Treatment. He let me know when he was going to start up again each time. And when he was going to increase the levels, as I wanted to see if we could take it higher. He stopped and let my skin cool off in increments as we increased the level to 5 so it was very bearable for me. The other esthetician did not do 3 passes. She seemed more hurried to get the treatment over with, and the highest level was really painful with her. I requested to stop for a sec when it became painful and then resume, but she did not seem interested in approaching it this way. The treatment was over faster than the Signature treatment I went in for initially. I guess I will see how the esthetician approaches the treatment next month and then see if I plan to continue. I saw more of a difference in the texture of my skin after the Power laser than the Signature one. Liked the male esthetician a lot. read more

I am a big fan of glowing skin. I booked a laser facial with Skin Laundry and was extremely pleased with my entire experience. The front desk staff and nurse were courteous, friendly, efficient and professional. The laser facial was less uncomfortable than anticipated. It actually felt like warm wax from a candle dripping on my face. I have a high tolerance for pain and felt none. My skin typically becomes flush when my aesthetician gives me a facial but I had no flushing afterwards. In comparing the ND:Laser to microdermabrasion, the latter has a higher level of discomfort. I was pleasantly surprised at the lightness of my skin and I actually noticed a glow and clearing of some hyperpigmentation after the first treatment.
