Having suffered from adult acne for the past year and really bad clogged pores, I was desperate for help. Co Kim knows skin and she's a master in clearing up acne. She literally spent 4 hours (no joke!) on my skin extracting every clogged pore and then a thorough session of microdermabrasion. I've had 3 sessions with Co Kim. I love the feeling after my 3 hour appointment where Co Kim worked her magic. Totally worth your money. It all takes place in a tiny 6'x15' room, decorated nicely to distract you from it's size. The session consists of: Cleansing & steam Pore suction Light mask application Extraction Eyebrows tint Microdermabrasion Cooling oil Antibacterial wand Cooling mask Moisturizer The major problem is that she's totally booked for several months now & it's incredibly hard to get an appointment on weekends. I waited one week after my first facial with her to write this review because I wanted to give an honest review after seeing the difference in my skin. I am amazed and I've been getting a lot of people telling me that my skin looks amazing, that I look "fresher", or that I look like I'm glowing. Kim started put my session by asking me about my normal skincare routine. She took the time to discuss and help me understand the necessary steps as well as products that would help improve my skin. I explained to her that I occasionally breakout and suggested that I use two different exfoliants (one for acne treatment and one for combo skill and that I should switch them out every other day so that the acne treatment one won't dry out my skin. I found this place on Yelp and made an appointment for an acne treatment (first time ever) since I have a pretty bad case of acne. My impressions: 1. Co Kim is lovely and she really cares about your session. I came in for a (supposedly) 2 hours treatment, but she took the extra step to take care of me, making sure that the extraction were done throughout. So the session became 4 hours. After meeting her, I trusted her completely that she would give me the best skin care and she did not disappoint. 2. During the treatment, she explained carefully all the steps: about what she's doing, and how its going to help your skin improved. She was able to see me the next day (she is always prompt in her responses). After a warm hug from her, she got to work...I needed a little more time w extractions this visit. The best way to describe her technique is to compare it to an extreme car detail. She basically DETAILS your entire face. The procedure took 2+ hours and involved all the latest equipment. She sands and strips your face, then buffs and polishes. when you are done you look young, smooth, and as handsome as can be. On top of that she is amazing on the eyebrows. Kim obviously loves her job which is what makes her so great .She takes the time to educate you and explain what she's doing. Kim confirmed my appointment by text & asked me to arrive 30 minutes earlier so she could spend more time since this was my very 1st microdermabrasion. THE ABSOLUTE BEST FACIAL EVER!!! Let me start by saying that I lost contact with Kim so it had been about 5 years since my last facial with her. After years of searching for "the one," I finally found the perfect esthetician! I cannot rave enough about Kim. She is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of skin care. She examined my skin, quickly assessed my situation and made some recommendations. Her European facial treatment was incredible. She also performed a microdermabrasion treatment on my most problem areas. I felt so spoiled knowing that she is taking such detail care of my skin. And the bonus??? She shaped and tinted my brows! I have NEVER had that done EVER! And it looked PERFECT! Kim spent over two hours discussing areas of improvement and educating me on my skin. Kim is very thorough and patient as well. I went to her for two years. My appointments were set a year or two in advance because she was busy and I have a full time job. She was the first one I went for facial so I didn't know any better. She did a good job on microdermabrasion but as far as acne extraction she didn't do well, overall her work is only ok. She missed a lot of pimples but I didn't really care because I focused on the microdermabrasion. The fall out happened when she put bengay on my shoulder and arms and she did not washed her hands completely. She applied sunscreen so I can go on my way, but it burnt my skin. It hurt so much. The next two days, my skin was discolored. Just imagine that someone peel off a layer of your skin and then put fresh chili's on it. It was still red and I took a picture of my face. I also sent her a picture of a big acne that she missed, and sent it to her. I constructively advised her if she could be careful next time and expressed my concern that I was afraid I might be scaring. She could have reassured me that it would go away in a few days. She responded with a sad emoji. I didn't want to hurt her feeling because I knew she was sensitive. I called her on the phone. She made an excuse that she was busy because she was driving to a friend's funeral. Who could have said anything to her if she brought up a funeral? Then, she ranted on and on. I had to take her beating. She said how she helped me with all her heart and her price was cheap comparing to others around Bolsa etc. She bragged about service and how she spent 2.5 hours on me etc. She said as if she provided the services for free with a rude attitude. I thought she would not to this to me since I have been her customers for two years but she cancelled all of my appointments. She is unprofessional and vindictive. When you go to her the first time, she was very detail on your face. Second, third and fourth time, the details diminished, unless you tell her that your face is horrible. I went to another facial service and lo and behold, it is almost half of her price and they also do 2-3 hours. They pampered me from A-Z. The microdermasiom isn't as good but this time, I don't care. I can buy a machine on amazon for the same tips that she used. I feel like I'm begging her for her services. You pay for the services but are not entitled to an opinion of the work on your face, which is ridiculous!!! read more

Kim IS the BEST! I've always gotten facials on a regular basis, but WOW, none has ever been as attentive, detailed, and educational as my visit with Kim. I love her! She really analyzes your skin and will spend a good 3 hours on your face, showing and explaining to you what it is she is doing to it. She also gives you tips on how to improve your skin to look as beautiful as you can be! She even waxed and tinted my eyebrows! And I must say, they are looking pretty attractive right now =P She doesn't try to sell you on any products and even advise that you don't actually need any fancy brands. Consistency and simplicity is key. She is so fun to talk to and her energy makes you enjoy every minute of the experience. You can tell this is her passion and her work really shows it. You will be in perfect hands with Kim and not regret having her bless your skin. I can't imagine going to anyone else for my facial needs going forward! This review is way overdue. Ive been going to Kim for microdermabrasion for more than 2 yrs now. All I can say is that she's very caring person and truly take care of her clients. My face never look so good till now. I used to have a really dark pigmentation on my face and now is barely noticeable. The cream that she's selling for the pigmentation works really well on my skin. Also, she includes brows tinting and waxing with her price, which is amazing! Its worth every penny! Kim gets really busy thats why I have all my 2020 appointments scheduled with her.
