Despite multiple written requests, Steele Dermatology has kept more than $2,100 of my money for services never performed and has withheld my medical records for over six months. I first requested my full treatment records back in April 2025, and to this day (October 8, 2025) they have not provided them, nor have they sent the "form" they now claim is required. They have never offered a valid explanation for the delay. After receiving my written refund demand, the practice administrator called me directly, even though I had clearly and repeatedly asked for all communication to occur in writing. When I calmly restated that request, she became defensive and hostile, said she would be sending me a certified letter from their attorney, and then abruptly hung up on me. As of this review, I have not received any letter, refund, or records. I have filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights for the ongoing denial of my medical records, and I am preparing to report Steele Dermatology to the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division for retaining funds for unused services. Patients deserve transparency, professionalism, and access to their own medical information. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.
