Bought laser hair removal package for my girlfriend here. The first couple sessions the girls who worked on my girlfriend were not thorough at all, skipped over lots of areas and were VERY immature about doing my girlfriends brazilian area. I know many of these girls are young, inexperienced and sheltered, but be professional! Made my girlfriend very uncomfortable. Next appointment we were coming from out of town and my girlfriend had spent HOURS (it was insane) trying to get herself scheduled. When we arrived, sure enough, she wasn't scheduled correctly and they didn't have a spot for a couple more hours. We were on a tight schedule and didn't have time for this. They told us that they had fired the girl who we had dealt with and that she messed up for a lot of people. Like that was OUR problem. They offered nothing to make it better. In fact they suggested we just part ways. I got on the phone with one of the directors, he apologized and told us we would be fully refunded. I imagine that was before he saw how much we spent. Months went by and I realized we never received a refund. I contacted them and was essentially told we would received no refund or services because we were 'rude.' I was finally refunded when he heard from my lawyer and was told that stealing isn't legal. He even threatened to send the refund in pennies! What an immature clown. I went to Skin Science Institute Spa yesterday (June 22, 2024). I was scheduled for an Advanced Anti Aging Facial and a Manicure by Hannah Contreras. She was super attentive to my needs during my facial. The steamer on my face while she massaged the products into my needed areas, left this girl snoring like a baby. It was the most amazing hour of relaxation and treatment for a great price. I would highly recommend booking Hannah. She will only be there for 6 more weeks, then she will graduate. Book her while you can. She then took me to the mani/pedi spa and gave me special treatment to my horrifying nails. They looked so pretty when she finished. We had extra time left, so I booked a pedi, and she gave me a much needed summer look to my toe's. Now they will be presentable in sandles, flip flops, or just barefoot. I had never been to a school before for services, and was kind of nervous since I was getting a chemical peel. When I showed up I was surprised at their level of professionalism. The venue was very nice and the students were well informed and knowledgeable about what they were doing. If I had any questions or concerns I could ask and they were able to answer. The staff was also very knowledgeable. The receptionists were kind and helpful (I was kind of a pain for them and rescheduled a few times, but they were only ever nice and willing to help me figure it out). After the service my student went over some home care with me to make sure I knew how to take care of my skins change during the chemical peel. I disagree with Justin review . Skin Science was awesome. The student was so friendly and knowable about every treatment that I receive . I got a mani,pedi and a facial and I love it. There mani, pedi room was super cute and very inviting. The chairs were great to sit in. My student made sure threw out my pedi that my water was warm my paint job for my nails and toes were great . After all of my treatment the front desk was super friendly and helped me rebook for another treatment. I Told all of my friends about this place . Skin Science is a great esthetics school. Top shelf instructors and an unbelievable curriculum. Their student spa is very high end and the package deals and treatments are very well priced. The students have a ton of hands on experience which shows in their treatments and the product knowledge. Very professional and clean facility . I would highly recommend SSI for the best esthetics training and student spa, this is the place to go! Went in to get a back facial from Maddie Brown and I was mostly impressed about two things, the quality, and how long I was there. I was there for about an hour and got the most relaxing back message/clean I've ever had in my entire life. I seriously didn't know what I was missing out on until then. Everything she did was out of this world and I've never felt better starting a day. I didn't want to leave but when the time came, they barely charged me anything! Horrible School. I am a registered Alaskan Native And my tribe payed in full my tuition. The owner is Stole my money and then kicked my out of the school. Then he lied to the Bureau of Indian Affairs about sending the tuition back to my tribe. U never lie to Federal Officials. Now my tribe is on the WARPATH. Literally!! I had an absolutely amazing time at this institute! I had scheduled an appointment beforehand with Shaylyn, and she did a wonderful job. Very respectful and attentive and was professional throughout the entirety of the acne facial.
