I've been seeing her for my Brazilian waxes, and somehow she manages to make an experience that involves hot wax and pain feel like catching up with a friend. The entire appointment flies by because we're busy talking about life, relationships, and whatever random chaos I've gotten myself into that week. What really sets her apart is how thorough she is. She doesn't just slap on some wax and call it a day. She takes her time, gets every nook and cranny, and will even break out the tweezers for those stubborn little hairs that refuse to cooperate. The attention to detail is unmatched. She's also taught me so much about preventing ingrown hairs, which has been a total game changer. I leave every appointment smoother and more educated than when I walked in. Most importantly, I've never felt awkward with her. At this point, I feel more comfortable talking to Desiree than I do at some doctor's appointments. I was told yesterday by this local franchise that they will not be refunding me and that corporate in Dallas Texas needs to be called. When I called Dallas Texas no one answers and was directed to submit an online request. I did and have not heard back from any person. I have located the local franchise owner and I am sad that my only recourse now is to file a smalls claims case and also file a complaint with the BBB and the State of California for financial fraud. They cannot extract money from my financial institution and then refuse to provide service nor a refund I am guessing this is finial punishment for my review on Yelp. This is very shocking to say the least and supre unprofessional which is right in line with this local franchise. I have been member of EWC for almost 16 years and never before have I experienced anything close to this level of unprofessionalsim and fraudulent and punitive behavior. Its outrageous!
