I did enjoy that she locks the door whenever she works with a client, she was nearby & payment options were convenient. However.. I walked in trying to get my milia removed. She suggested a deluxe hydrofacial & said it'll remove some, but not all because my milia was big. Then afterwards, I can decide if I wanted to get them lasered off. Milia was removed, but like she said, there were still some stubborn ones left. I figured.. I was there, might as well get them lasered off. While I was waiting for the numbing cream to numb my face, I took a picture & posted it on IG. After my appointment, one of my esthetician friends reached out & asked about the services I received. I told her & she actually told me that lasering milia was ILLEGAL in California unless it's done under a doctor or at a med spa. She also sent me a video of milia laser removal in THAILAND & asked if that what was being done to me. I said, my eyes were closed but it sounded like it & felt like it would be like that. I mean I smelt the burnt skin, but atleast the girl in the video had protective eyewear. I didn't, I just kept my eyes closed. She also said there's no such thing as "medical estheticians" as Rosie claims she is. I wanted to give Rosie the benefit of the doubt, but after reaching out.. well.. you can see for yourself. My face is now permanently & illegally scarred. Go for facials, I guess, but even then it didn't seem as though the place is clean. I used the restroom & she uses the bathroom sink to wash her items + toilet was NAAAASTY. So, who knows how often she cleans the machines. She also talked to her husband on the phone during treatment, so that was very relaxing. Also.. I took screenshots of videos, except the first & last photo, so quality is off. I paid $300 + TIP & she gave me a $100 refund. Edit// to Rosie's response: I absolutely used the restroom. The sink is to the left as soon as you walk in, toilet to the right & all your instruments are in the sink. Maybe you need to start keeping your lies to yourself. I did not want a free service. I just wanted my money back after you illegally scarred it. I believe many positive reviews for Skincare by Rosie are inflated, especially for Microneedling and RadioFrequency (RF) treatments. Always check the negative reviews too, as they reveal the full real story, especially since businesses can easily generate thousands of positive reviews for themselves. I waited for 2 month to write my review, as I wanted to be very accurate about my review. I hope my review can be instructive to help you make a right decision. On Tuesday, October 8, I visited Rosie Skincare for Microneedling. Unfortunately, I have yet to see any results. My mistake was returning for a RadioFrequency treatment on my neck on October 17, driven by my eagerness to pay less. Rasha (the owner of Rosie Skincare) mentioned it was a promotional offer for October, making it more affordable, which really influenced my decision to go for RadioFrequency on my neck. Also, she is an aesthetician and I am surprised that she is performing Microneedling and RadioFrequency treatments, as these procedures typically require medical training. I want to clarify that I never told Rasha on October 17 that I was seeing any results from my Microneedling. In fact, she was the one insisting I had seen results and asked me to write a positive review for her on Yelp and Google reviews to help grow her business. I did declined her request to write a positive review for here since it was too early to see any results. I told her that 9 days from October 8 was too early to make a judgment, and I couldn't write a positive review at that point. I only returned on October 17 due to rushing into the October's promotion that was my mistake and I regret. This is also why I waited over 2 months to write this review to be more accurate. Microneedling Results: It is worth noting that during the procedure, she keeps talking on the phone. Why are you talking on the phone while performing my treatment? This reflects a lack of focus Anyway, the treatment caused discoloration on my face, and I am still using multiple products to try and remove it. After passing two months, I still see the stains from the Micronnedling on October 8th. This is still my struggles. Radio-Frequency Results: There were zero changes to my neck. Although she repeatedly assured me that I would see some improvement for sure, even after one session within two weeks, the results from the RadioFrequency treatment were completely nonexistent. My question is If, Rasha, you thought Radio-Frequency was not effective after a single session, and if you consider my wrinkle too deep to improve with this one treatment, why did you promise I would see improvement after just one session on October 8th, and then rush me with your promotion? Just to clarify, she NEVER mentioned that I can see ZERO results after one session, nor did she mention that it might take 3 sessions to see any improvement. Our discussion clearly indicated that I would start seeing results within two weeks after just one session, as long as I was patient. Please see what she wrote Concerns About Treatment Recommendations and Professionalism: Based on my research, it's recommended to wait 6 to 8 weeks between Microneedling sessions. However, Rasha suggested only 3 weeks. Surprisingly, when I visited for RadioFrequency on October 17, she asked if I wanted another Microneedling session, despite only nine (9) days having passed. I later realized how unprofessional it was to recommend another treatment so soon. Finally, When I raised my concerns especially for my stains, Rasha said to me to visit her office to see me and to address this. However, I declined because I was uncomfortable returning that would cause arguments and I did not want to risk undergoing any additional procedures with her, as I had lost hope after being left with these stains. Final Thoughts and Advice for Others: I hope this review after waiting 2 months can help others make an informed decision and avoid making the same mistake I did by choosing a cheaper option. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend to seek Microneedling and RadioFrequency treatments only from licensed medical professionals at reputable skin medical clinics even if it means a higher price. I wish I had paid more and gone to a medical skin clinic instead of seeing an aesthetician at Skincare by Rosie. I brought my 16 year old daughter here for an acne treatment. We found Rosie on Yelp . My daughter has bad acne , so unfortunately it is necessary to get her facials. We experienced what other reviewers mentioned, it's not a calm and peaceful experience. She talked on speaker phone to a man in Arabic for 10 minutes of the treatment. To be quite honest I could of done the facial myself at home. I just wanted to treat my girl to something special to cheer her up . For $105 we would like a better experience. This is not your typical facial experience, with ambient music, aromatherapy, and shoulder/neck massage. Or a relaxing environment, at all. Her son played video games with voice chat in the room the whole time and she answered at least two calls while I was being treated. I can forgive one or two things, but there was so much lacking with the whole experience. I can tell that she uses expensive machines/techniques and that is all well and good, my facial had good results (I think it was deluxe hydra facial) but don't expect your typical facial experience here. This is the first time I've ever gotten a facial. I usually have really clear skin but in the past month/ week I've had so many breakouts. My skin was super red and I have blemishes. It's already a lot clearer. *update not as happy* 4 stars for results. One star for professionalism. I wanted to schedule a micro needling appointment next. I have a busy schedule. She called and said to make it at 11am Saturday. Then called back and said 2 pm. Then called again and said 11. Then kept pushing me for 2 pm even though I said let's do next week. Like she was pushing hard for me to do Saturday. We said Wednesday. Thennnn she texts me Friday asking if we can do Saturday at 11 again. I said fine. I told her I didn't want my face to be all red when I went to work. She said "it won't be I promise." I get there at 11 the day she kept pressuring me to do even though I really didn't want to. And her son is there. I'm all for moms, I am a mom myself and I tried my best to be unbothered by it and joke with him. Well while I'm getting my face done and baked under a light all I can hear is video games and them talking. Like this is a $130 service that is supposed to be enjoyable right? Oh and her price online is $100. So yeah, I was over charged but didn't even think twice because I just wanted to get out of there. I told her I had vitamin c serum and at the end she says here put this on your face every 2 hours. So an after care. Oh but wait it's $35 extra. And then it enflames my whole entire face and I had to go to a bday party and work with a bright red swollen face. To really top it off, as she's doing my skin she asks, "you have to wear a mask at work right?" Great. My face is swollen isn't it.... This is why I wanted to do a weekday where I wasn't busy. She offered a refund but honestly I don't even want to drive back for the $35 refund for her serum. $165 total for such a super unpleasant experience. My face has cleared up although. My skin is super dry and peeling now but I think that's normal? Idk. But I will find a new place. read more

Rosie is THE best! Earlier this month I got a deep facial and my first microneedling treatment, and 3 weeks later I am sooo happy with the results. The facial really cleansed and shrunk my pores and left my skin very smooth and a nice glow. Now the microneedling treatment, that was the game changer! I have had many facials in the past this one by far has summed up all the facials that I've had in the past in one visit she took her time to do everything she had the best service and care she also uses good products the appointment took about two hours including hydra facial Microderm abrasion masks and a face massage. used all the new equipment that you would find in luxurious salons however all of that it cost about $85... I couldn't believe the price so I had to go check it out myself and it is true. the only extra $10 I paid was for gold mask that was worth it.
