I booked the 50-minute Sculpt and Repair facial and had a generally good experience, though it wasn't quite what I expected. Booking was very easy through their website, and I was able to get an appointment the next day. The location is in a strip mall with easy parking, which made it convenient to get to. The space itself is simple but nice -- no frills, but clean and comfortable. My esthetician, Rada, was kind and explained the process well. The facial included the steps that were described in the service, so everything felt straightforward and professional. That said, I didn't find the overall experience to be especially relaxing or pampering. I had assumed a shoulder and arm massage might be included, but that is actually an add-on that I didn't realize needed to be booked separately. The gua sha/facial massage was the main reason I chose this facial, and for me the pressure felt a bit too light to be very effective. Others who prefer a gentler touch might enjoy it more. Overall, this feels like a good place if you're looking for a quick skincare refresh. While it wasn't quite the spa-like experience I expected, it was convenient and the service itself was delivered as described. Complete side note that doesn't affect my rating: consider playing different music that is more in line with a skin care spa/clinic. That may help the overall experience. read more

I actually quite love it and still use it -- this is not the product I referred to. The product that was recommended to me in my past visit was the Good Molecules Lightweight Daily Moisturizer. I did not report it right away because I wanted to give the product a chance for a bit longer. However, I had to discontinue it for the reasons I already mentioned. read more

First timer here! This week my skin was feeling a bit more dry than usual so I wanted to get a facial to help hydrate and brighten my skin. Most skin care places are closed on Sundays but Royal Skin Care was opened and I decided to give it a try after reading seeing their convenient hours and all the stellar Yelp reviews. From the very start, it was a great experience, I was easily able to book online and learn more about the different treatments they offer. I decided to go with the Basic Needs 50min facial - "This customized treatment begins with a deep cleanse, followed by manual or enzymatic exfoliation to resurface the skin and then light extractions. Custom vitamin masks based on your skin needs. Finish with red LED therapy to boost elasticity, collagen production, and product absorption." My esthetician was Valerie and she was wonderful. It was such a relaxing and comfortable experience. She was even able to remove a stubborn blackhead I've had for a while. After the 50 minutes, my skin was visibly more hydrated and smoother. The establishment is clean and it's located inside a small shopping center so parking wasn't a struggle (and it's free). One of my goals for this new year is to take better care of my skin and I'm so happy to have found a place that will help me accomplish that. Will definitely be returning! read more

I went on Thursday, April 17th at 12:30 pm- do NOT do that, the lunch crowd makes parking pretty hard. As for HELEN, my esthetician- she really knows her skin care! My skin really glowed the couple of days. Other places include hand treatments and more massage, so it depends on what you are used to. This place is strictly face unless you 'add on'. I met with the lovely and talented Jessica this past February and while I was short on time and was most interested in just getting extractions done, I was really surprised and wowed by the results of the Basic Needs facial! My face looked dewy, young and smooth with decades of melasma significantly lightened. I hadn't treated myself to a facial in years and was so excited to glow with no makeup for days - all for a reasonable cost. I received the 50 minute custom tailored Basic Needs facial with scalp/neck/chest/arms massage along with collagen infused heated boots. This included the signature "red carpet" no peel - peel with vitamin C, bubbly oxygenation (to fight environmental stressors), extractions, and finished with hydrating/healing masque under LED Phototherapy (which I was told was to help reverse UV damage, for better product absorption and to boost of natural collagen and elastin proteins.) I'm not sure how this place has this many 5 star reviews but to me it's definitely not there. I've had hundreds of facials throughout my life and this place is subpar at best! First the bathroom is disgustingly dirty! It also sits right across from a storage facility that looks like a cage that animals would be stored in. The music they play is that of a cocktail lounge or bar, not a spa. Then my aesthetician was very sweet but very green! She hardly put any pressure on my face and wasn't through enough for my liking or what I'm used to. I have no problem paying money for a service but my treatment today definitely wasn't worth $260!! I left with a bunch of goo on my face but don't feel like I received a (good facial). Very disappointed! Won't be back. read more

I absolutely loved my facial. My aesthetician was amazing, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I loved the way she explained the different products being used as well as the different devices being used. I had a specialty facial with LED light therapy. My face felt so refreshed and clean. I really liked that it was not busy when I went so my experience did not feel rushed. The room I was in was perfect and clean. They are located in the shopping center with Panda Express, Robeks and Starbucks. I have already booked another facial and one for my mom, can't wait! I've been coming here for monthly facials ever since Royal opened and I won't go anywhere else. Shantal is the absolute best. She takes time getting to know your skin and making sure she's using the right products for YOU- not a one size fits all facial. She recommends products but doesn't push, she truly wants whatever she thinks will be best for my skin and to date she has never given me a poor product recommendation. For me, it's really important to trust the person working on my skin and I fully trust Shantal. The Royal Skin Care office is always spotless and inviting, parking is easy and as a member, I never have issues getting the appointments I want. She has a perfect touch, and I have had many massages, but she knew exactly what I wanted, being careful to make sure that I was comfortable. I fell completely asleep with her magic touch.
