If reading legal forms carefully causes you to lose your appointment slot, that says a lot about the process. I had scheduled a 4:00 PM consultation, arrived on time, and was handed an iPad with multiple pages of consent forms. I asked if I could complete the personal information first and review the rest after the consultation, but was told everything had to be signed beforehand. I also mentioned these forms could have been emailed in advance to save time. This was my first time seeking laser hair removal, so I wanted to fully understand what I was agreeing to. At a medical doctor's office, some paperwork is expected, but for a cosmetic consultation, I did not expect to be rushed through lengthy consent forms before even meeting the provider. After finishing, I was told most people "just sign without reading." That was disappointing to hear. Important consent forms should be read and understood, not rushed through. I had taken time off work and drove about 30 minutes based on the positive customer service reviews. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Sharing this so future customers know what to expect.

I sat in my chair and I specifically asked for cleaning and not thinning them, whatsoever, as i always do anywhere i get my brows done.They offer threading or wax, i went with threading. I did brows, upper lip and sides. She worked very fast; within minutes, i was done. i paid and tipped and went to my car. Still in the parking lot, i look at my brows and notice that one side is thinner than the other. Brows are cousins not sisters, i know, but naturally. You can tell one was threaded thinner, and it looked like a mistake. I used my phone light to look closer and found a white line under my left brow that my right brow didn't have, showing how much of it was threaded off. I also saw hairs still in the middle and under both brows, so i went back in and told her about them. She told me that she didn't use her glasses so she didn't see, which i didn't like because for intricate work like that, you should use ur glasses. No biggie, she cleaned the random hairs. I then told her that she threaded too much on one side. She told me she didn't see it and they looked even to her. I got close to the mirror and used my phone to extend a straight line from one end tip of one brow to the other, and showed her how one is thinner. She told me she could make the other thinner to make them even; which not only confirmed the unevenness but also i didn't appreciate the lack of accountability. I told her i didn't want to do that and instead i'd rather wait for the other to grow out. I was hoping she was quick because she's been doing it for so long, but quick in this case meant rushing and nothing good comes from that. People make mistakes sometimes but i think it's important to take accountability and maybe don't rush. It's not a cheap service and it's important to do it right. I didn't make a big deal of it because with brows and hair, there's not much you can do, the damage has been done. I simply told her about it and showed her and she didn't say anything other than telling me she can make the other side thinner to make it even rather than apologize.

First, she applied numbing cream to my face and it had to sit there for awhile to take effect. The space itself is relaxing, quiet, and easy to access and park from Six Forks Rd. It felt a little weird to have a numb face but not as bad as a dental procedure. Chloe was so great about continuously explaining what was coming next and which areas might feel a little spicier when they were micro needled (upper lip, nose) and asking me how I was doing. Overall, it was not very painful. Be prepared that immediately afterwards your face will be BRIGHT red. That lasted about two days and faded continually afterwards. It also had a sunburned feeling the first day once the numbing wore off. I mostly wanted to try micro needling for hyperpigmentation. I believe it takes a couple treatments to really see results but my skin does feel more glowy a week after and seems totally healed. Chloe sent me home with some soothing balms and tinted sunscreen to apply frequently to my face which definitely helped.
