I've had 5 sessions so far (usually come in every 3 weeks) and see my skin texture smoothing out and the pigmentation is nearly gone when it usually takes 8+ months for it to fade. I know there's still a long road to resurface the scars, but I'm confident we'll get there. I wish I did this for myself sooner as my confidence is much better not trying to hide my face. The facials here are tailored to what you need. Jenna tries different techniques to find what works best, but she doesn't do anything that is unnecessary and gradually works in more invasive treatments so you aren't shocking your skin. For my skin needs we usually do microdermabrasion, light chemical peel, light therapy, nano needling with some various masks and other things depending on how my skin is looking and feeling that session. Prices are very fair - I've definitely spent the same on basic facials when here I get the bells and whistles. She also has access to quality products so do ask about them! She's not pushy at all about upselling them, but professional lines can have more effective concentrations than store bought and can speed up the process. I totally love the tinted physical sunscreen and the Vitamin C serum I got from her! And to top it off, her personality is great and is a wealth of knowledge on skin. It will tell you the condition of your skin. I've always done facial because of my acne prone skin so on the age department (wrinkles and moisture etc.) it's fair, scoring me at my age. On my acne scar and blemish department, I scored poorly. They've gave me recommendations on what my treatment should be. Like I've said, I've always had acne prone skin due to hormones. Although I try to always take care of it, acne scarring and blemishes has a plagued me, especially during pregnancy. My scars were deep during pregnancy because of cystic acne. I'm 13 months post partum and just looking for anything that would help my skin. Check out there recommendations: -1st walk-in was a deep cleansing facial -2nd walk-in collagen facial and oxygen treatment ( see photo -1st treatment and post 1st) -3rd walk-in collagen facial (see photo-2nd treatment and post 2nd) -4th walk-in collagen facial (see post 3rd) Now ladies, we all know beauty is pain. Although the deep facial cleansing was soothing, the collagen facial is not pain-free. Thank goodness for numbing cream! So your face technician will give you numbing cream so you can tolerate the needles that will be continually piercing your skin. I believe this will activate your skin to produce more collagen. Down-time is pretty much none but you will definitely not want to go about town with your sore face. You shouldn't apply make up after and just take care of skin applying mild soap, moisturizer and sunblock and the serum they give you. It's not that irritating after a day, I even do hot yoga/Pilates after, but be ready to experience some drying-i think dead skin- hence load up on those moisturizers or hyaluronic acid . I feel that on top of improving my acne scar it actually got rid of my acne. Another plus! Now, It's still on going treatment but I'm very convinced because I see the difference.
