The doctor was very professional, explaining the lasers, what each one does, and the cost of my procedure. During the procedure, I mentioned where I lived, and we decided to do my entire face. She added a five-minute extra treatment under my eyes, then charged me for the whole face. I was surprised by the much higher price for the additional service area, but I didn't know better at the time. Also, she tried to sell me a product that I could find on Amazon. After talking with friends and finding a highly respected dermatologist in Connecticut, I realized I had been taken advantage of, probably because of where I lived. I wouldn't rate her highly because, aside from the unexpectedly high extra charge for a five-minute treatment--which included removing protective glasses--the service was fine. I don't approve of the business ethics, so I wouldn't return or recommend it based on my moral values. (I had to add a star to post the review. I gave it three because the service was fine)

I had my first appointment with Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael, and was totally amazed!!! (I'm not a person that's into that social media review stuff). However, I found it imperative to write a review, after my first visit with this wonderful doctor!! I wrote my first review on ZocDoc. I couldn't give Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael anything lower than a 5 star review. I've had my share of mediocre Dermatology visits/services in the past 15 years, that really didn't rock my boat! I had a severe chronic ongoing skin issue, that was very difficult to deal with. My stress, and anxiety level was on overdrive, I wasn't sleeping well, basic tasks were very difficult to do, and the medications, creams, pills, and injections that were given/prescribed to me,(only helped on a temporary basis). Long story short: I wasn't a happy camper...***Now to the bright side!! Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael's first visit was extensive. She asked me if I had anything planned for the day, and I told her no. She told me great...because you're going to be here for a good while. That was fine with me, I was open/desparate to anything at this point. I wanted to be freed from this chronic severe skin issue... which had me climbing the walls!!! She asked extensive medical questions in regards to my symptoms, medical history, family history, medications, treatments etc...There was blood testing done, pictures were taken of my skin, laser treatment performed, and I was also given a oxygen/hydrating gel mask treatment (which made my skin feel so much better). My insurance covered one treatment, and I paid for (4) additional treatments. That was fine with me. It soothed, and cooled off my skin, considering my skin was always FIRE!! She prescribed some medication, and gave me some samples to try until the following week. I had my appointment with Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael for the following week, to review my results. My skin was feeling a bit better. She read to me, the results of my lab tests. My lab results showed that I had a certain/serious autoimmune condition. Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael was very concerned, and started me on medication immediately!! I take this medication every day. Dr. Dele-Michael eventually prescribed a second medication as well. I got the next available appt. with a Rheumatologist 3 months after seeing Dr. Dele-Michael. (I was told by the Rheumotologist that these medications/dosages is what I needed). It's been 5 months, and I can honestly say, Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael has changed my life around!!!! It feels great to live a normal life again!!!! And I owe it all to her!!*** Now, I must mention all her staff (angels): Clinton, Olga, Ashley, and Tina. I can only brag about them!!! They're nothing but professional, patient, welcoming, compassionate, and always on point!! Their work ethics is beyond exceptional!! They're a great team!! I don't have any issues, or complaints in regards to the practice of Radiant Skin Dermatology. I have also been her patient as well as my daughter and we both are pleased . When my husband need Moh's surgery, Dr Teplitz brought in a surgeon to her office to perform his surgery. Dr Teplitz has moved from her private practice in Tuckahoe to an office in Yonkers with two other dermatologists. I have an appointment with her in May at her new office.

Needless to say my experience turned out very poorly! I am writing you to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the finished product & the treatment I received from "Hazel", the individual that performed the "work done" with the hopes you can help remedy this situation. Hazel arrived over an hour late, was rushed, and completely disconnected from the task at hand. Given this was my first time getting fillers it would've been helpful for Hazel to properly explain what to expect. More directly, she used one syringe and the bags were never removed. The area underneath my eyes looked worse - even after 2 weeks. I called several times to make a follow up appointment, & sent pictures. On the second visit I was treated with "radio frequency" and Hazel admitted that she should've used 2 syringes and threw away the remainder of the 1st syringe during the first visit. Another week passed, my eyes still bruised, and I decided to go back for a 3rd visit...to rectify this mess once and for all. Again, after I waited an hour and a half to meet with "Hazel" what I personally witnessed from "Hazel" (aside from whether the work was or wasn't performed correctly) was an utter lack of respect towards a customer. I respectfully expressed my displeasure politely and with legitimate concern ONLY. What I experienced back was language filled with passive aggression and insults. Hazel acted like trash. She was condescending, nasty, disrespectful, and petty. She wanted to go toe-to-toe with the customer instead of acting with empathy to try and alleviate my concerns. Every time I had appointments before, the wait was at least one hour, During my last visit, their systems was down and I had to wait close to 3 hours in the reception. Being a regular customer didn't carry any weight. In general, turnaround of stuff is constant, they don't know my name, unhelpful and pushy.
