I found Smooth Generation through Instagram and I was automatically intrigued. I looked through their Instagram and their website to find all of the choices of facials and laser that they have at their store and I just knew I wanted to try this place. What ultimately brought me into the store for the first time was an amazing offer for a package for underarm laser hair removal. It was so great to see that they offered so many great deals and had many promotions. My first time going to the skin spa was back in the summer for my first session of laser with Olga. The facility is clean and well kept. The receptionist was extremely friendly and answered questions that I had. Then, I was taken into the back with Olga and she asked me a lot of questions and examined my under arms before she used the laser to ensure to put the laser on the correct setting for me. She was extremely knowledgeable. The laser barely hurt. I was very happy with the experience and have gone back a few times and the hair is almost already gone. Just a few days ago I went to the spa for a facial with Olga and once again I was not disappointed. They had a great variation of specials and deals in November so I got buy one get a facial 50% off. Olga took me in the back and asked me all about my skin and my own concerns. She gave me two options for a facial I could do that she recommended for my skin. She spoke to me throughout the facial and was so kind answering any skin related questions that I had. She told me about many of the products that they have there and I ended up buying something but nothing was forced upon me. I left there feeling so refreshed, glowing and happy. Overall, Smooth Generation is exactly the place that you want to trust with your skin. I am extremely happy with my experience that I have had there so far and look forward to my next visit. The owner, Inna, does not care about her clients. They have boilerplate plans for everyone. When you don't get the results you were promised, she does not come up with a solution, even after spending thousands of dollars on a treatment. I will be trying Long Island Dermatology with actual professionals. I questioned my treatment after the fourth visit, and then again after the fifth visit and asked if I need additional treatments. I was told to wait until the end of August. The same size fits all treatment plan doesn't work for everyone. When I called to speak to the owner, she did not return my call until I reached out a second time - two weeks later. The owner could have offered a feasible plan, but did not. I could have continue treatments when I had the time, but was told to wait. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Upon entering the facility I felt calm and loved the sleek modern feel of the place while at the same time receiving a warm welcoming from the front desk reception. My Esthetician Inna was welcoming and made sure to explain the process and the products being used. She was thorough in her cleansing and made sure I was relaxed the whole time. The bedside manner of the technician was cold and unwelcoming. Normally facials are so relaxing but this hurt from the second she touched me. I even said I was uncomfortable and she told me it's normal. I ended up with a blister on my face. I had sticker shock when I went to pay. The difference in my skin is unbelievable. Inna provided a facial that left my skin glowing, hydrated, and full. The texture of my skin is smooth and soft. My pores are clean and fine lines gone. I think that it is easy to have "pretty" skin after a facial at age 30, but when I can get these results at nearly twice that age, it speaks to Inna's knowledge and skill. I will definitely return. The environment was clean and the staff was professional. I wanted Inna but she was on maternity leave. I settled for the cover which was a terrible mistake I've had a lot of facials in the past and this was by far the worst. For starters I wasn't even have asked to take off my shirt which proved to me that it wasn't going to be a thorough facial. anytime someone performs a facial you should always take off your shirt off to ensure cleanliness of face and neck. She never even touched my neck. Every concern I mentioned was undermined and I was told I was overreacting. I left with scally sticky skin. Scally because of the dead dry skin which was my main concern and sticky from whatever she applied to my skin. I asked for extraction however I left with the same blackheads. I left feeling thankful for arriving during spa week because if I would have paid full price for this facial I would have been pissed. I will never return or recommend this place EVER.
